Krishna is called as Hrishikesh as he is the "Master of Senses". The living entity on the earth is actually a Spiritual Soul. However, when it comes in contact with the materialistic things, the soul forgets itself and starts to identify itself with the body. This change is made possible by false ego which converts material experience to feel Spiritual.

The  transformation of material experience to Spiritual experience is made possible by Krishna alone, who controls the false ego, all our senses and mind, and acts as an Interface between the material experience and Spiritual experience.

Hrishikesh is the God within us, who is the controller of our senses and mind. This is the main reason, Krishna is called as a God who lives in every living being..

Thus, Krishna is called as Hrishikesh!
