When I told them that you cheated,
They laughed and laughed and laughed.

I told them what I felt

But they asked me to forget.

"You are only imagining this,

So I decided to oblige them.
And thought it to be a dream.
I rubbed my eyes and opened them,
Stepping out into 'real-life' theme.

But then what I found,
Made my heart pound.
At least in my dream, you were my dear friend
But now you've absolutely disappeared.

How am I supposed to hang on to this rope,
A tiny line of difference between awake and dope
Neither can I return to that world of hope
Nor with this harsh reality can I cope.
