"Kakashree Uddhav has given us such a beautiful story to perform now all we have to do is to decide the roles." Krishneswari said.

"What's there to decide ? There are 2 male roles and 2 female, we're two boys and two girls." Anirav said.

"Where is it written in Natya-shaashtra that only male performers can have male roles ?" Savyaani said.

"So you want to play the male roles ?" Satyashree asked.

"Why not ? Besides it will be more fun that way." Savyaani said.

"I am not going to dressup as a girl !" Anirav said raising his arms.

"Hold on ! Why don't we decide by chits ? And then we will get the roles, that Narayan wants us to play." Krisha gave a solution.

"That's a good idea." Savyaa smiled.

"Yeah we can do that." Satyashree said.

"Fine then." Anirav said.

"But it will be final though. You will have to play the role you get." Krisha said.

"Alright !" The three agreed in unison.

Savyaani went towards the desk, took out a paper and tore it into 4 pieces. She then dipped the quill in the ink and wrote the names of the characters in them and folded pieces of paper.

The rest three made went towards the desk, as Savyaa jumbled them all. Each one of them picked up a chit by their intuition. Krisha and Savyaa smiled joyously, while Satyashree and Anirav got red.

"Krishna." Krishneshwari said.

"Baldau." Savyaani said.

Both the best friends high-fived chuckling and then looked at the boys, who were looking at each other nervously.

"What roles did you get ?" Krisha asked.

"Radha Rani." Satyashree said shyly making his eternal beloved smirk.

"Does that mean... Rajkumar Anirav you got Lalita sakhi ?" Savyaa asked.

"Y-Yes." He said.

Savyaa started laughing as Anirav got even red.

"Don't laugh now !" He whined.

"S-Sorry.... I just imagined you in lehenga." Savyaa said trying to control her laughter.

"If wearing Lehenga means I get the lead role alongside priye so be it." Satyashree muttered.

"I heard that." Krisha whispered to him.

"You say like you don't know the feelings in my heart." Satyashree said with a smirk.

"Oh I have known them since Yugas." Krisha smiled.

"Ahem Ahem." Savyaa fake coughed bring the two out of their stance as Anirav chuckled.

"C-Come friends ! We have to practice the performance ! And remember I don't want any mistake ! It's for my Pitashree's birthday. Everything has to be the best !" Krisha said.

-THE DAY OF KRISHNA JANMASHTAMI-

The entire Dwarika was rejoicing the day of Janmashtmi. Since many days people were organising several events to honour their Dwarikadheesh.

Several kings from various kingdoms had come to celebrate this auspicious day. Many were expected while few were not. To speak clearly, Gandhar-raj Shakuni along with Duryodhan had also come.

"It's such an auspicious day, unfortunately it will be ruined in a while." Shakuni said.

"But do we even care Mamashree ?" Duryodhan asked.

"Not even a bit." Shakuni chuckled.

Soon Krishna along with Balram entered the open auditorium and were greeted by the Pandavas.

"I am excited to see what our daughters have planned." Arjun said.

"I am sure it will be beautiful as always." Krishna smiled as he sat between Arjun and Balram.

Once when everyone seated, Uddhav walked towards the stage and everyone attentively looked at him.

"Welcome everyone who came to the Birthday of our Dwarikadheesh. Knowing Kanha from childhood, I can say for a fact that everything he does is eternally pleasing. Whether it was running behind cows, goofing around gopiya or stealing Makhan." Uddhav said.

Krishna and Balram chuckled reminiscing their good old days while the rest smiled.

"But one thing that was ever so divine and pleasing was Kanha's past time with Radha Rani. You will be shocked that Dwarikadheesh, whose name is always on the lips of those who know him, is rarely on the lips of people from Barsana. Every child from that place only chants the name of Radha." Uddhav said.

"Radhe-Radhe." Balram smiled as Krishna grinned widely.

"As divine as their love was, even more pleasing was their fights, which we all called Maan-Leela. Today you will see a glimpse of that." Uddhav said.
