Chapter Seven

Lower Heights,
Yara's Home

Listening to my GPS I made a left turn traveling up a steep road. That's one thing I loved about my hometown, the views were incredible.

"Your destination is on the left, 5058 Marmol Dr."

Looking over at the house we parked along side something seemed unusual.

There's no way in hell that a nurse could make that much to afford a house in this big ass subdivision.

"And she works where again?" East asked looking over at me wondering the same thing I was.

"St. Judas with Krish." I cut the engine stepping out.

Walking up to the door preparing to knock it slowly opened revealing Krish.

"Twinnnnnnn, where have you been!" She screamed jumping on me kissing my cheeks.

"Yara they're here!" She yelled but I pulled her to the side.

"How the fuck is she affording this?" I asked hoping she wasn't apart of the fuckery going on down here.

" I don't know Kris but I know she has money, a fat ass, and she can cook." She chuckled before giving East a hug.

Walking away from them I came face to face with her.

"You don't know what personal space means do ya?" She asked backing away.

"Actually I do, my bad if I'm making you uncomfortable." I stepped back sitting at the island.

"The plates are on the table, you can sit in the living area if you'd like." She told me pouring a glass of wine.

She wore a long sleeve pink and brown striped pajama set that had the words PINK on her forearms, with the shorts being swallowed by the amount of ass she had in them.

"Alright." I walked past her catching a glimpse of her ass fully before I made it to the dining area.

"Son this shits hitting!" East said stuffing his face just like Krish was.

"Yo ass got lucky because Krish saved your food from me." He said looking at me.

"Huh, saved my food?" I looked at his plate noticing a nice sized T-Bone steak, broccoli, mashed potatoes, and crescent rolls.

Looking over at Krish's food and the other plate I noticed they had the same thing too, but instead of broccoli they both had a salad.

Looking down at my plate, I noticed a Tomahawk ribeye steak, buttered cheese muffins, homemade mashed potatoes, and asparagus.

Catching a slight whiff of it all my mouth watered.

Man if this was my girl I'd have her ass in the air all night long eating her until she cried.

Sitting down I began to eat, only to feel my stomach catching butterflies. It was just as good as it looked.

Eyeing everyone at the table, Yara grabbed her plate off of it, and walked out.

Im guessing she was headed for the living room, so I grabbed my plate too and followed her.

"What's up with you?" I asked her watching her slowly chew her steak.

"What do you mean?"

"We're having dinner mama, you're supposed to say grace and eat with the family." I smiled causing her to chuckle a bit.

"So go have dinner with your family." She told me grabbing her phone but instead I took it out of her hands.

"How will you ever have time for you if you let the social world consume your healing process?" I asked her.

"Who told you that I was healing?" She asked catching an attitude.

"There wasn't anything to tell Yara, your actions and the way you respond to things are letting me know what's going on." I told her making sure I cleaned my plate of food.

"I'm fine." She said standing up flinching as soon as I stood up with her.

"Damn you don't even know me like that to assume I'd touch you."

"I don't have to, you've been in my personal space non stop as if you do know me, back up and give me 45 feet damn!" She snapped walking out.
