Krestena's POV

My dad has been spotted in Duff town, which isn't far from Hogwarts. Uncle has been trying to undo his permission on me going to Hogsmeade. But I'd already sent it in before dad was released. So instead he made me promise to stay with my friends at all times. I promised, mentally crossing my fingers.

Someone had sent me a letter telling me to meet them in the forest near the shrieking shack at noon. I knew it was from dad, I recognized his hand writing. So I am going to sneak away telling Hermione and Ron I'd be hanging with the twins. Who'd cover for me. Meanwhile I'll be going into the forest in my animagus form.

Yep I finally managed to do it a week into school. It's now Halloween and time for the first Hogsmeade weekend. Uncle Remus watched from a castle window as Filch cleared us to go. "Guys I'm going to hangout with the twins at noon" I tell them.

"That's fine, just be-careful" Hermione tells me.

"I'm surprised Cedric didn't ask you to go with him to Hogsmeade" Ron states.

"He's captain of the Hufflepuff team this year and with my cousin being such a drama queen over his 'injury'. Hufflepuff is now facing Gryffindor in the first much of this year. So is making his team train extra hard, wanting to make a good impression. As his first match as captain" I explain.

"No way, they'll beat Gryffindor"  Ron says proudly.

"Want to bet on that?" I ask smirking.

"You'd bet against your own house?" he asks shocked.

"Scared you'll lose?" I ask in a teasing tone.

"Ten sickles Gryffindor wins" he states and we shake hands. We go to honey-dukes first, then the post office, Zonko's and then to the three broomsticks for a butter beer. I brought a meal pack and bottle of beer for dad putting them in my bag. That has an undetectable extension time on it.

"Krestena, don't you have to see the twins now?" Hermione asks and I look at the time. It's five to twelve.

"Yeah, I'm suppose to meet them at Zonko's. Enjoy the shrieking shack" I tell the pair before leaving. I run to an alley and change into my dog form. Then pick up my bag and run to the shack. Before heading into the forest then sit by a stream and wait. I then hear and growl to see a rugged looking black dog. I growl playfully before pouncing him and we play a little before I pin him down.

"Ok I give" dad says turning back as he chuckles. I step off him and sit in front of him wagging my tail. "You look just like me, but brown" he states stroking my furry head.

"I brought food for you" I say turning human and open my bag. Then give him the meal pack and butterbeer. "Looks like you could use some clothes too" I add as he eats.

"I hope no one is giving you a hard time" he states.

"No I have plenty of friends to look out for me" I assure him. "And Cedric would never let anyone hurt me" I add smiling.

"Who's Cedric?" dad asks raising an eyebrow.

"My boyfriend" I mumble. "So why are you here? Why did you break out of Azkaban?" I ask changing the subject.

"Pettigrew's alive, I have to protect Harry" he states. Then explains everything about what happened twelve years ago. How Peter could turn into a rat and showed me the picture of the Weasleys in Egypt.

"Do you want me to help?" I ask.

"No, I want you to be safe" he tells me. "Now, don't think I didn't notice you changed the subject. So who is this Cedric?" he asks.

"He's been my friend since first year and is now captain of the Hufflepuff quidditch team. They've all promised to look out for me this year, encase others give me a hard time. That's when he asked me out" I explain.

"Were you with him today?" he asks.

"No, Draco insulted a hippogriff and got scratched. As you can imagine he's laying it on thick. So now Hufflepuff has to go against Gryffindor instead of Slytherin. So he's training the team" I explain.

"You and Harry still on the Gryffindor team?" he asks and I nod my head.

"Yeah the much is on the seventh if you want to come and watch in dog form. Uncle Moony can't go, as it's the full moon the night before. So he's going to very tired" I state. "He's upset since he can't be there" I add.

"You should probably get back" he tells me. "Remember stay away from Pettigrew" he states. I hug him before heading back to Hogsmeade. Where I meet the twins and we went back to the castle together.
