Krestena's POV

The sun rose and I grabbed my trunk and Snowy's cage. I head downstairs before anyone else and order some pancakes. It was their special today for breakfast. As I ate the others soon appear and have their own breakfast. We were all dressed in muggle clothes ready for the journey to the train station. When the three ministry cars arrived we split up into groups. Mr Weasley went with Harry, Hermione and I. Mrs Weasley with Ron and Ginny. While the twins were stuck with Percy in the final car.

Twenty minutes later we reached the station and boarded the train. I didn't see my uncle on the platform but find him in a compartment alone. "Uncle why are you on the train?" I ask him confused as I enter the compartment.

"I'm your new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher and Dumbledore has asked me to be on the train for the journey to Hogwarts" he tells me tiredly. I remember it was a full moon last night as I put my trunk in the luggage rack. Before taking the seat next to my uncle with Snowy in her cage beside me.

"That's amazing uncle, I know you'll be an amazing teacher. Now rest, I know you're tired" I tell him. Uncle Remus covers himself in his cloak and falls asleep. I soon follow suit as the train begins to move.

(Hour or so later)

I wake up as the train stops suddenly flinging me from my seat. "Ow" I say along with another voice. "That you Hermione?" I ask.

"Yes, are you ok Krestena?" she asks.

"Yes, but why did we stop?" I ask her as I sit back in my seat.

"There something moving out there, I think people are coming aboard" Ron states looking out the window. We are soon joined by Ginny and Neville. We are all trying to figure out what was happening when Uncle Remus told us to be quiet. Soon he was holding a handful of flames that lights up the compartment. He told us to stay where we are as the door begins to open. I turn to see a skeletal hand hand appear.

That's when I realize it was a dementor and wish I hadn't left my wand in my trunk. It starts towards Harry trying to take his soul. But Uncle Remus got rid of it with his patronus and shut the door to the compartment. Harry had fainted and was now on the floor of the compartment. "Krestena please get the chocolate bar from my trunk" Uncle Remus instructs.

I do so while he wakes Harry who asks who had screamed. "No one screamed" I tell him as Uncle Remus begins to break the bar of chocolate I'd given him. As the lights come back on and the train begins the journey again.

"Here, eat it'll help" Uncle Remus says passing out pieces of chocolate. Giving Harry and I the biggest pieces. Harry asks him what that thing was. "One of the dementors of Azkaban, it was searching the train for Sirius Black" Uncle Remus explains. "Now I must have a word with the driver, eat your chocolate" he tells us. But I'd already finished mine and was now comforting Ginny.

"Wait, what was Sirius Black sent to Azkaban for?" Harry asks looking like he'd just figured something out.

"Murdered a wizard and killed a dozen muggles in the process" Ron answers.

"Krestena didn't you say your dad..." Harry starts to say looking at me.

"Yes he is my father, now can we drop it?" I ask annoyed. Uncle Remus returns and the others finally begin to eat their chocolate. I grab my robes and go to change on the way back I meet Cedric. He hugs me tightly saying 'thank goodness you're ok'. "I'm fine, just glad the dementors are gone" I tell him.

"We have a lot to talk about, how about tomorrow at lunch on the quidditch pitch?" he suggests.

"That'd be perfect, see you tomorrow" I say kissing his cheek before leaving. Once I got back to the compartment I sat quietly looking out the window. Uncle Remus gives me a concerned look, but says nothing.

Cedric's POV (After Krestena kissed his cheek)

I touch my cheek where she'd kissed me and smile broadly. Before returning to my compartment and sat with the rest of the Hufflepuff quidditch team. "I know that smile, you've seen Black" Justin says smirking.

"So what if I have?" I ask still smiling.

"You know she's the daughter of a murderer" Heidi states.

"She's not her father, besides she's never meet him before" I lie. "Besides no doubt she is going to have a hard year when everyone finds out who her father is. So please leave her alone" I tell them.

"Aye captain" Herbert says and the others nod their heads in agreement.

"She's going to need all the friends she can get this year" Tasmin states.

"We'll be there for her" Anthony and Micheal (the two beaters) say together.

"Really?" I ask them looking at everyone else.

"Of course Cedric, any friend of yours is a friend of ours" Malcolm states and the others nods their heads in agreement.

"You guys are the best" I tell them smiling. We arrive at Hogsmeade station and get off the train together. I notice Krestena get in a carriage with her friends before getting into mine. I pray Krestena doesn't suffer this year and can remain strong like the last two years. She faced Voldemort twice and made it out alive. This should be easier.
