This was not how any of the boys had planned a movie night to go. Ever.

Dino certainly did not expect to be carried to his best friend's car, mid movie. He certainly did not expect to end up begging for a handjob from said best friend. And he definitely did not expect to be forced to come out to his entire group.

The day had started off normal, so why couldn't it have stayed that way??

Dino huffed as he sat up, rubbing his eyes of sleep as his stomach rumbled for food. Putting in his contact lenses, the raven haired male checked the time, making sure he was awake before anyone else so that he could take his suppressants in peace.

Standing up, the male stretched and walked over to his vanity, opening the drawer and quickly pulling out the drugs that warded off his unbearable time of the month.

Washing the flavorless taste down with water, Dino almost spit the contents out of his mouth when he heard someone enter his room.

"Don't worry, Didi, 's just me," the male's best friend starred back at him from the doorway, smiling. "Jus' makin' sure you were up."

Swallowing the meds, the youngest rolled his eyes, closing the drawer and walking over to his friend, curling himself into the male's chest and nuzzling into his scent gland.

"Thanks, Vern.. Jus' don't scare me next time," the elder smiled and engulfed the shorter in his arms, letting the ravenet nuzzle into him.

"How'd you sleep, Little Dinosaur?"

Dino huffed, rolling his eyes as he pulled away from the hug. "Vern, I'm only one year younger than you. 'm not that little." The maknae always stated that he hated the nickname, but deepdown, he loved it. He just could never tell if he loved it, or if the omega in him loved it.

Vernon smiled as he watched the other go to his closet, picking out his outfit for the day. "You didn't answer my question, Didi," he hummed, respectfully looking away when the younger started changing.

"Yea yea, I slept fine," Dino shrugged, pulling the oversized shirt over his bed-ridden mess of hair. "What about you, Hyung?"

The elder shrugged. "I slept fine," he sent back, chuckling fondly at the playful glare sent his way. "What do you want for breakfast, Lil Dinosaur?"

The ravenet huffed, walking over to his best friend after finishing getting dressed. "Hmm, what about french toast?"

"You got it," Vernon beamed, wrapping an arm around the shorter's shoulders and walking with him down to the kitchen.

2 loafs of bread, a big mess, and enough french toast to feed 11 other grown men later, Vernon and Dino rested upon the maknae's bed. They had planned to take their day off and be lazy, unlike most of the rest of the group.

"Hey, Dino?"

The mentioned male looked up from the tv, quirking a brow at the taller. "Hm? What's up, V?" he hummed, blocking out the sounds of the drama in the background, examining his bestie's face.

"I was.. er, just wondering how many days, you had left.." The older looked sheepish. It made Dino smile a little, even though he hated talking about it.

"Should be about 15 more days. That's how many pills I have left." he stated. Vernon caught onto the direct tone, noting the end of that topic.

The day went on, chaos insuing in the family room every few minutes, the two upstairs cuddling and being your standard introverts. Dozing in and out of sleep in the comfort of his friend's arms, Dino was content.

At some point throughout the day, Seungcheol quietly knocked on the door, poking his head in and smiling at the 2 comfy maknaes.

"Look at you two, so comfy today,"  the leader smiled, waving when Vernon looked up at the door. "Don't wake Dino, the boys are wondering if you'd like to join us for a movie night after dinner?"

The blue haired male smiled, nodding quietly. "Sure, I'll let Didi know when he does wake up. Thanks, Cheol."

The eldest hummed, closing the door silently and going back downstairs.

A wiggling maknae on the bed drew a smile out of the taller. Dino nuzzled more into his chest, mumbling out a cute little 'warm~' before dozing back off into quiet snores.

It was moments like these where Vernon really enjoyed being around his Best Friend.

"Viiiii, hurry uppppp," the mentioned male heard a whine, before he felt arms wrap around his torso. He smiled, continuing to wash the dishes from the sink, humming when a head laid on his shoulder blade.

"Yes, Dino, I'll be done in a minute, okay?" the icy haired male hummed, placing a clean dish in the drying rack.

"Mmmmm wash fastterrrr, 's cold without chuuuu," the maknae whined, nuzzling into the elders back again.

Vernon hummed. He stole a quick glance at his best friend. The younger wasn't often this clingy around everyone else, and he almost only ever complained about being cold whenever he had a fever.

The male shook his head of the worrisome thoughts, shaking them off as Dino still being in cuddle mode from having a lazy day. It should be fine, he told himself.

He should've trusted his gut.

Dino hummed as he watched the other members take a vote on what movie they'd watch. He didn't care, knowing he'd probably fall asleep halfway through in Vernon's arms.

Speaking of which, the elder had in fact finished washing dishes finally and sat on the couch, allowing Dino to hop into his arms and curl into their safety and comfort. The blue haired male smiled, playing with a few hairs on the younger's nape, listening to the calm breathing of his best friend.

"Alright, Captain Marvel wins, we all good on snacks and drinks?" Vernon heard Jeonghan ask, seeing everyone else nod their heads or let out hums of agreement.

The second youngest smiles and wraps a blanket around him and the youngest, humming when he hears Dino softly purr at the warmth and comfort. He didn't catch the glance from the leader next to them, having his eyes forward on the tv as the movie started.

About halfway through the movie, Dino was no longer contently dozing off. "Vern...." the ravenet whined quietly, squirming around a little bit, trying to get comfy again. No matter what he did though, he still felt restless. He got his friend's attention, looking up at him with a silent whimper.

"Oh- holy shit, Dino.. You're burning up, are you okay??" the elder asked quietly, trying not to draw anyone else's attention to them. Dino squirmed some more, and then he felt it.

'Shit! It's not supposed to come for another 2 weeks at least!' The maknae whimpered, his gaze turning into pleading eyes, begging his best friend to help him out of the situation.

Vernon immediately smelled it, swearing quietly as he looked around. No one had caught on yet, maybe he could-

"Guys? Why does it smell like an omega is in heat..?" Jihoon glanced up at everyone, his nose scrunching as he sniffed the air. That got everyones attention, and as Vernon looked around, he could see colors flash through all his bandmates eyes.

That's all that went through his brain. He pulled a trembling Dino closer to himself, pulling the blanket up and hoping the others didn't see his movements.

Fortunately, Seongcheol caught on quickly, having sat right next to the two. He saw Vernon's panicked face, the way he pulled the youngest closer and glanced around.

"Hey, Vernon, Dino, why don't you two go get some more snacks from the convenient store? I think we're running out.." he hummed, pausing the movie.

The elder of the two glanced at the eldest, giving him a greatful stare before nodding, standing up and picking up Dino in his arms. "We'll be back.."

Then they were out of the dorm and Vernon was running into his car, placing a whimpering Dino in the passenger seat wrapped in his blanket. He then went to the drivers seat and got in, taking a deep breath. He looked at his best friend, who had thrown off the blanket, and was whimpering in pain.

"Vi.. I-i'm so-soso so s-sorry," the ravenet started crying. Emotions and unsatisfied hormones were running through his body, causing his brain of reason to short circuit.

Fortunately, Vernon had been around him enough times growing up, he could control his alpha very well around the boy.

"I don't have all the answers, but I do know that Dino and most likely Vernon won't be back tonight. Don't spam them with messages asking where they are, I'm sure they'll have a lot on their mind already." The others seemed to get the message, multiples of nods and hums signifying they understood, even if they were still confused.

"Di, are you okay sleeping in the car, at least for tonight?" he asked, brushing his fingers through the younger's hair gently.

Dino nodded, yawning quietly into Vernon's chest.

"Alright, I'll book a hotel room for tomorrow night, but for now, get some sleep, okay?"

A small, whispered 'yeshyung' was heard, before Vernon heard soft puffs of air as snores. He smiled softly, pulling out his phone to text Seongcheol a very serious thank you, letting him know the two were safe, as well as booking a nearby hotel room for them.

Setting his phone down, he pulled the crumpled blanket from the floor and laid it ontop of the two, making sure it wasn't covering Dino, before leaning back completely and falling asleep as well.
