Chenbaek [Breakfast in Bed?]

"Achoo!"

That was what Jongdae said when he came back from work yesterday, drained in rain. Baekhyun was sighing and shaking his head at his wife. "Dae-ah, what did I say about bringing a umbrella to work just in case it rains?" He questioned.

"You sound like Eomma~" Jongdae whinned, "I won't foget next time, ok?" Baekhyun just shook his head and muttered, "You're helpless..." Jongdae pouted, "But you love me, right?" He questioned. "Of course I do, you pabo. Why would I marry you if I didn't?" Baekhyun chuckled.

A smile spreaded across Jongdae's face, "Yeah... Love you too." Baekhyun smiled softly, "Now go, take a bath. I'll make some soup for you. Now, go! Before it worsens." He commanded. "Yes, sir." Jongdae saluted and giggled at his own actions before heading to the bathroom but not after another 'achoo!'

Baekhyun shook his head again before prociding to the kitchen to prepare the soup that he said he would make.

And now, on the early Saturday which was workless for both of them, Baekhyun looked at his sick lover and sighed. Deciding on being a good person again, he headed for the kitchen silently, trying to wake up Jongdae, who was sleeping soundly in their bed.

Taking out the ingredients he needed which included: Egg, yeast and sugar. Baekhyun had looked up his phone last night to check the recipe for croissants and he was glad it could be made easily. Glancing at the instuctions one last time, he did as told.

Combine yeast, warm water, and 1 teaspoon sugar. Allow to stand until creamy and frothy.Measure flour into a mixing bowl...Massage butter until pliable, but not soft and oily...To shape, roll dough out to a 20 x 5 inch rectangle...Bake in a preheated 475 degrees F (245 degrees C) oven for 12 to 15 minutes.

Setting it in the oven, he then procided to cook the eggs. He took out some heart cutters from the drawer and set it aside. He turned on the fire and placed a pan over it. Pouring some oil in it, he checked on how the croissants were coming along and smiled when it was going well.

Going back to the eggs, the oil was ready. He placed the heart cutters carefully in the pan and cracked the eggs. Baekhyun was glad everything was going well and that he hasn't mess anything up.

The oven dinged, signaling that the croissants were done. When Baekhyun heard it, he almost freaked out and scolded the oven for being too loud. "What if Jongdae wakes up?" He also said. When Baekhyun realize what he's doing, he chuckled at himself.

Turning off the fire for the eggs and the switch for the oven, he took out a plate. He placed the croissants at one side of the plate and the eggs at the other side. Baekhyun felt like something was missing and he decided to make coffee to fill in the blank feeling.

He made latte, knowing it was Jongdae's favourite. Baekhyun poured cocoa powder on top of the coffee to make a heart. Smiling at his accomplishment, he settled everything on a tray and headed for their bedroom.

As if on cue, Jongdae's eyes fluttered open and he yawned cutely. Baekhyun almost cooed but cleared his throat to stop him from doing it. "Baekkie, what's that I smell?" Jongdae asked. Baekhyun laughed, "Of course you would ask that first."

"Go brush your teeth and eat your breakfast." Baekhyun said. Jongdae nodded and obliged what Baekhyun said. Once he was done freshening up, he went back to bed to see Baekhyun sitting there with a tray on his lap.

"Baekhyun! Did you cook all this?" Jongdae questioned, eyes wide. "Yeah, now eat it before it turns cold. Jongdae nodded and took a sit beside Baekhyun. "What about you?" He asked.

"I'll eat later." Baekhyun waved his hand dismissingly. But Jongdae didn't let it slide. "You'e having half." He said firmly. "I prepared it for you." Baekhyun said, "So you eat it all."

Jongdae shook his head. "I'm not eating if you don't agree to eat half." Baekhyun sughed, "But I'l get sick." Jongdae smiled, "I'll eat a egg and a croissant and you'll do the same." Baekhyun sighed again before nodding.

"But you're drinking all the latte." Baekhyun addded. Jongdae nodded. The both of them went all lovey dovey with each other, feeding each other. Jongdae could taste the love in the food that was made by Baekhyun.

He knew Baekhyun and put his heart into making this for him and Jongdae could not express how grateful he was to be able to love someone like Byun Baekhyun. Yeah, to someone, that might sound cliche but for both of them, it was perfect.

"Thank you, Baek." Jongdae said. Baekhyun could understand that from Jongdae's tone, it meant more than just the tray of food he was thanking. Baekhyun hugged Jongdae and muttered, "Thank you too."

Behind those words also meant, "I love you" and "I love you too".
