Oh Seunghee

Another group whose potential is being wasted. I really do hate the way the kpop industry works. If idols were able to create and perform their own music, just imagine the amount of content and songs we could be receiving instead. It really is just all about money in the end. It sucks that I got into them this late, hopefully they'll continue on and pursue their careers.

Old Habits
A bell jingled, signaling another customer's entrance into the store. This turned a few heads, the employees and a certain girl who was waiting anxiously. She jumped at the slightest sound and it didn't help her situation one bit. Her breath began to shake as she saw the person she'd asked to meet with her. Without even a need to signal, he found his way over to her. Slowly, he slid into the booth with her, sitting across from her.

It pained her but she forced a smile, seeing her misery reflect on his face. For a few seconds they just sat and looked at each other, not a single word coming from the other person.

"Let's get this over with. Why did you call me here?" He asked.

"I wanted to see you." She thought out loud, seeing him flinch from her words. Those words inflicted damage that she could see.

"Says the girl who broke my heart a few months ago." He added.

Her heart ached from his words, but she knew she deserved these feelings. She mumbled words of apology but it didn't reach him. Still waiting on her explanation he just stared at her. She took in a deep breath and unleashed her question.

"I have a favor to ask..." He immediately rolled his eyes, face palming a little.

"Of all people to ask, why does it have to be me? Why did you go out of your way to ask me?" He asked.

"Because it's you... it's always you." She quickly answered.

"I know you hate me, I was being selfish and careless. We ended up breaking up but now... I need you again. There's no one else who can take that role." She cried out, reaching for his hands which he hesitantly pulled away.

"Stop... just... cut to the chase. For the past two months I've been trying to get over you. Don't make me feel these things for you anymore." He said.

She nodded and reached for her purse, pulling out something before passing it towards him. She watched as his defenses failed and his heart showed through his eyes. They were soft and warm, alongside with the shock and confusion that was mixed along.

"I can't recall the last time we had sex. Is it even mine...?" He tried but failed at trying not to show his concern.

She gritted her teeth, having to tell him the truth. "That's why I called you here. I want you to take a paternity test." She could see the tenseness on his face as he clenched down on his teeth hard.

"So there's a chance it isn't mine. You've been with someone else then..." He spoke to himself.

"It was just a one night stand, nothing more. I used protection as well. It's just..." She tried to defend her actions but ultimately let it go.

"How far along are you? What even makes you think it's mine? We used protection most of the time anyways." He rambled on trying to hide his distrust.

"What if it isn't mine? Then what?" His words scared her, his voice alone was enough to bring her to tears.

"I won't bother you ever again, I promise. If it's not yours then I'll disappear from your life." She vowed to him.

"And if it is mine? What do you want from me?" The other spectrum, what happens if he is the father? She tried again, reaching for his hands. This time he didn't pull away.

"I want you in this baby's life. Please be their father." It wasn't going to just magically clear their previous relationship, even if they were to become parents it didn't mean he was opening his arms wide open for her.

"Schedule an appointment and tell me when. Just give me a call if there's anything else." He stood up and she followed his movements. Before he could even take a step away she embraced him, whispering words thanking him.

"Thank you (Y/n)." Her hold lasted for a while until it finally loosened.

"See you later Seunghee." Words he never thought he'd say ever again.

A week later
(Y/n) and Seunghee took their DNA test together, now all that remained was the results. Within a week she began to come around again. For the first time in months she stepped back into his home. While they waited Seunghee would visit more than he'd expected. Their old flame began to rekindle, as much as he tried resisting it was inevitable. It began with a few smiles, then laughs, and eventually it lead to them ending up in the same bed. Even if all they did was sleep, their tender hold on each other was mindlessly suffocating. The time span of a week was enough to bring them back together. However he did bring it to a halt the second reality hit him again. There's still the possibility of this child not being his, why should he get so attached if it wasn't his.

Seunghee definitely noticed his sudden change at the end of the week. Their meeting in the cafe nearly broke his mentality state then he went onto turning back to his old self. It was sweet while it lasted, reminding her of the memories they made.

Seunghee already had her chance to apologize, over and over again. She was the one to break it off in the first place. There were things she felt a few months ago that she should've never let out. The words that came out of her mouth that day was a mistake. The biggest mistake of all was losing (Y/n).

She hoped, she really did that this child was (Y/n)'s. Not only would it give her a ticket back to him, well that's exactly what it was. Another chance, another chance to have a future where (Y/n) would be in her life. Today was that chance, their results were going to be released to them. (Y/n) was just now getting off of work while she had the day off. Seunghee had agreed to meet with him later and read the results together. It ate away at her the whole day, wanting to check the answer, to determine if she should be happy or if she should run to the ends of earth to avoid seeing his reaction.

She was currently on her way to his house, hoping to catch him as soon as he also makes it home. By chance she was able to, arriving just as he did. Seunghee rushed over to him just as he made it to the door, stopping him before he could shut it. (Y/n) jumped at the sudden appearance but allowed her inside.

Wasting no time at all they moved into the kitchen where Seunghee pulled out the documents that held his results. He watched her as she opened it up and began reading the tests, watching her eyes maneuver over the papers. It came to a crashing point as she put it all down. Her eyes leaked with the truth and he knew what it meant.

"It's... not yours." His heart ached the second those words came out, why? Had he hoped for the same as well?

"I'm sorry. For wasting your time, and giving you false hope. I'll fulfill my end of the deal. You won't ever see me again, thank you for giving me a chance." Seunghee spoke out despite her heart falling apart.

She stood up and began to walk away but not before going into his arms once more. Seunghee let loose and let it out, breaking down in his arms. His heart acted on its own and began to console her, even if he wasn't happy with it, he wasn't a heartless creature. She cried out again and again, how she wished it was his. Apologizing for what they could've had, if they hadn't broken up.

She looked up into his face, asking for permission for one last thing. A slight nod was given before she pressed her lips against his for a sweet kiss, a final gift she wanted from him. Seunghee pulled away only to hide her face in his neck, wrapping herself around him tighter.

Just then a ringtone went off as she climbed off of him. (Y/n) grabbed her hand immediately, "Don't leave just yet." He still had some words to say, but this phone call needed to be answered.

"Mr. Kang, I called at the time you've requested. I have your results." This surprised Seunghee, she didn't exactly recognize the caller but the information that they provided stirred up her curiosity.

"I'm sure you've received the paper documents as well, have you taken a look at them yet?" (Y/n) replied with the answer of it being a negative.

"It's a good thing you went out of your way to get me to do another test. These newbies these days are going to ruin the next generations. The results are a positive by the way, that child is yours sir."

(Y/n) thanked him before ending the phone call. He immediately trashed the documents on the table. Finally he turned back towards Seunghee who had already summed up the situation, jumping straight into his arms. He barely was able to hold them together without falling down. She didn't make it any easier with her entire body wrapping around him. To add on her lips were being placed all over his face, planting kisses after kisses.

"I don't remember agreeing for us to be like this again." (Y/n) teased, getting pampered with kisses regardless.

"Then why did you allowing me to kiss you?" She said before pressing her lips onto his.

"You know you want me, just as much as I want you. I'm just so happy... you could've told me your plans. My heart was shattered just mere seconds ago." She softly bit him, leaving a mark behind, a punishment for hurting her. An old habit she used to do in getting revenge.

"I saw that doctor we had, looked like an idiot. I figured it was better to be safe than stupid. Now you're not going anywhere, especially if that's our kid inside of you." He walked them over to the living room so he could let her down. Seunghee only shook her head and refused to let go, instead she motioned to his room. (Y/n) recognized that look in her eyes, lusty and hungry for him.

He shook his head denying her of any advancements towards what she wanted. "I don't feel comfortable doing that while you're pregnant. It doesn't feel right, not to mention we just got back together." (Y/n) said.

"Yet you happened to sleep in the same bed as me a few nights ago." Seunghee remarked.

"I will hug you, kiss you, sleep in the same bed as you, but I won't do that. Not until after our son or daughter is born."

"Fine... we'll see how long you can last." Seunghee teased.

"I'll last longer than you, I'm not the one who went out and got caught up in a one night stand. Don't think I'll forget that you moved on that quickly after dumping me." (Y/n) shot back, twisting her feelings into a tight knot.

"Stop... You know I can't do anything to make those things go away. No matter how much I apologize, it's still my fault regardless."

"Don't forget, all the mean things you said when we were breaking up. 'You were just a mist—'" Seunghee cupped his mouth and stopped him.

"I'll apologize as many times as you want, I'll do whatever you want so please... just don't mention those things again. I hate myself so much for saying it to you."

"If you're that sorry then make a vow to me, a promise you'll keep no matter what." She nodded without even hesitation.

"If you don't marry me, if you were to ever leave me again, you will not ever date another person let alone marry someone else." She was taken aback by this huge commitment he wanted from her. It was a huge vow to make, who knows what the future could hold for them. However, here she was pregnant with his child and back in his arms. It didn't exactly seem that bad at the moment, she had no plans of leaving him again.

"I promise. I want you to do the same, promise me you won't ever leave me either." She shot back.

"Promise. Now let's go get some food." He said.

Timeskip - 1 month later
Everything began to move in motion between the two of them with Seunghee moving back in with (Y/n). Slowly but surely they began getting back to their old ways. The simple things such as waking up in each other's arms everyday, the sudden crashing landing of hugs upon the other's body, and of course the sweet kisses of hellos and goodbyes. They didn't have to work hard to be smitten by each other again. Perhaps even without the child being their main magnetic pull towards each other, it could've worked again had they tried.

The doors clicked open as (Y/n) stepped inside his house. The smell of cooking blasted him in the face immediately popping a smile onto his face that he couldn't hide. He hurried over stepping into the kitchen where he saw Seunghee dancing and singing by herself while a fire ran on. She had headphones on, unable to even hear him come home.

Seunghee's flow finally stopped when she jolted feeling arms wrap around her. She spun around and met his face, matching his smile. Her bump had began to show and it pulled on his heartstrings every time, seeing their child taking a step closer to being born.

"What does this remind you of?" He asked.

She pondered for a bit until it came to her. "The morning after you said you loved me for the first time. I caught you dancing your heart out while making me breakfast." Seunghee laughed as the memory played out for them both.

"I love you." Her heart tingled, just as it did when he first said it to her.

"I love you too." It was returned just like their first night.

Their everlasting embrace ended as Seunghee set the table for them. In the middle of their conversations, an important question was finally asked. "Have you thought of a name?" Seunghee suddenly dropped on him. He gave a shake of his head, showing dissatisfaction in himself for not realizing sooner.

"Sorry, I haven't even given it that much thought." (Y/n) said.

"What about you? Any ideas yet?" He asked.

"I've got a few. I don't think you'll let me though." She laughed a little making him suspicious.

"Don't tell me it's similar to yours. I don't need two Seunghee's running around. Definitely not two (Y/n)'s either, it's bad enough if we have a boy first." Seunghee kicked his shin, telling him not to say such things informt of their unborn child.

"Why? I want a son though?" He shook his head.

"I don't want another idiot like me. I'd rather have a girl who can put the other kids in place first." (Y/n) explained.

"So... you want more kids?" A wide smile was shown on her face. Her heart was dancing already hearing his words and his next answer sent it to another beat.

"Unless you think one is enough, I want a few more." Her mind was dancing along with her heart in unison, filled with joy from his words. That all left in an instant and was replaced with something else.

"I swear if I wasn't pregnant right now..." (Y/n) could see that hint of lust in her eyes.

"You'd what?" He teased.

"I'd fuck you right now." Even though he expected it, he still choked on his spit a little.

"Language, you really wanna be saying such things in front of our kid?" They finished up their meal before moving over to the living room to spend the rest of the evening in. Between watching a movie and deflecting Seunghee's invading hands with a big NO, it was a pleasant ending to the night.

Next Day
As if the timing was perfect, their eyes opened at the same time. Sharing a smile and shortly after a kiss to start their day together. (Y/n) called off work to spend the day with her, he figured today would be the best time to enact his plan. While she laid against his chest, his hands reached over into the drawer and pulled out a box. Without her noticing he brought it over and pulled out the contents of the inside. He grabbed her hand, slipping on something as she asked what he was doing.

Seunghee finally opened her eyes to check what he did. There it was, a ring on her finger. She looked back at him speechless and still shocked.

"I had a better plan before we broke up. But I threw it all away when you broke up with me. I was that close to proposing and you dumped me. And here you are in bed with me, with that ring in your finger." Her lips trembled as she let out words of regret.

(Y/n) pulled her closer, hushing her to stop apologizing. "All that matters is that you're here, we're together again. I'm your's and you're mine again. Nothing will change that now Seunghee."

"I love you (Y/n), so much. Thank you for everything. I'm sorry for ruining everything about us. If it wasn't for this child... I would have never seen you again. I wouldn't be able to become your wife. We wouldn't ever think of starting a family together again. Thank you so much." Seunghee cried against his holds.

"Thank you for coming back. I'm glad it's you, the one I'll be spending the rest of my life with. I love you too Seunghee." His own tears escaping, unable to contain the erupting emotions.

Eh, I expected too much out of myself. I had a more angsty theme for this one but guess I didn't feel like being sad. The kitchen back hug was the thought that started all of this, that's what I wanted to expand on but my mind was somewhere else. Short and sweet, let's leave it at that.

Next: Eh, just go to the next chapter. I'm out of pictures.
