"So much for going to the amusement park." I said, looking out the window at the rain. "The forecast said sunny! Jaebum! Make the rain go away." I pouted, crossing my arms. 

Jaebum sighed loudly and come over to me. He grabbed the back of my head and kissed my forehead. 

"Oh baby, I could if I would. I thought it was gonna be sunny too!" 

"So what do we do now?" He shrugged. 

"We can still go out, just not to the amusement park." I got up and jumped and landed on my bed. 

"Like what?" 

"We could go to the movies, we can go out to eat, we can go to the mall-" 

"Shopping sounds nice." I turned over on my stomach. "But the rain will make me sleepy." 

"Then we can get food on the way home-" 

"I'm listening." I said, raising an eyebrow. 

"Eat, then take a nap." I sat up and clapped once. 

"Now you're talking." 

After Jaebum and I got ready, we went out to the mall. I didn't feel like carrying the umbrella around, so we just wore our matching rain jackets. We linked arms as we walked up to the doors in the sprinkling rain. The wind picked up and blew my hood off. I squealed and Jaebum chuckled and quickly pulled it back over my head. 

"We're almost there." He said. When we got inside, we pulled our hoods off and Jaebum subconsciously grabbed my hand. "Where to first?" He asked. 

"I think you should pick a place you want to go to first, I might take a while." I said. He laughed. 

"I don't need anything, I'm just following you." 

"Suit yourself." He followed me to all of my favorite store, buying me things here and there. But this time, he let me go in the last store by myself. 

"Hey, I'm gonna sit this one out, you go ahead. I'll sit right here." 

"Alright."

 I went in and started browsing clothes, 10 minutes in, I wasn't in the shopping mood anymore, so I walked out. Jaebum wasn't here he was and I looked around for him. My eyes landed on him standing in line at the smoothie shack and I started walking over to him. 

"Damn." 

I heard. I dismissed it and continued walking. 

"I said damn!" 

I turned my head and saw two high school looking boys checking me out. I rolled my eyes and kept walking. The two boys caught up with me and one put his arm around me. 

"Where you going?" He asked. I pushed him off me. 

"No where with you." I looked up and saw Jaebum already making his way over to us. "Now I suggest you leave my girlfriend alone and go get a girl who's actually in your league." He said. He grabbed my hand and we started walking towards where we came in. "I should've just stayed with you." He said. I could see the vein popping out of his neck. 

"Calm down." I said putting my hand on his chest. 

"I'm sorry. That just made me mad." 

"I can see that." He let go of my hand and put his arm around me, pulling me close. "Can we go get food now?" I asked. He chuckled. 

"Yeah, I'm starving." 

When we got to the door, I gasped and looked and the pouring rain. 

"Looks like we gotta make a run for it." I said. 

"No, I have to. You stay here. I'll bring the car around." 

"Wait-" Jaebum darted outside and sprinted to the car. "I have the keys." I finished. 

Half way to the car, he made a u-turn and came back. 

"You have the-" 

"Keys, I know. Here." 

On the way home, we just grabbed some burgers and fries and pigged out when we got home. 

"Mmm, I wish I could rewind and eat that again." I said. Jaebum laughed.

"Same." I changed out of my jeans and put on some sweat pants then jumped into bed. It started raining harder. 

"What if the power goes out." I mumbled. Jaebum joined me and pulled the covers over both of us. 

"The power won't go out." 

"But what if it does?" 

"Then we'll light some candles, play some monopoly, sleep." 

"Sleeping sounds nice."

We cuddled closer and I put my head on his chest and fell asleep to the sounds of the rain and Jaebum's steady heartbeat.
