57.Bobby (iKON) Part 1/2

You flipped through the channels one by one, slowly, sighing as you know there is never anything on tv at this time. You looked at your phone, 1:46am, and Bobby still wasn't home. You closed your eyes and laid your head against the pillow. You and Bobby were giving each other the silent treatment because of some argument you had earlier in the week. Not earlier in the day, but the week. Bobby has been sleeping on the couch or staying with a friend. The relationship between you a Bobby has been iffy lately. In the beginning, you were best friends, inseparable, and loved and cared so much for each other. But for the past few months, things just haven't been going great. Your personalities are too similar, yet so different so you always clash. It's complicated to figure out why you haven't been agreeing or getting along lately. Bobby spent the night with a friend last night, he came back this morning, took a shower, changed, then left again. He's been gone since and you don't know if he's coming back tonight. You stopped worrying and went to sleep. A half hour later, you were woken up by an overpowering stench and claustrophobia. You rubbed your eyes and saw Bobby snuggling against you smelling like alcohol. You made a face and tried to push him off you. "Stop pushing me away." He slurred. "Bobby, you stink and you're drunk." "I'm not-" He hiccuped. "I'm not." You sat up and sighed. "Bobby, just get away from me." You said. He furrowed his eyebrows. "Oh shut up. Don't tell me what to do." He said. You shook your head and stood up. "I'm surprised you were able to drive home." You muttered. "What-what was that?" He asked. "What did you say?" He got up and walked towards you. "Oh my god, Bobby, just, go to sleep or something, or get out." You tried to walk past him, but he grabbed your wrist and pulled you back. "What the hell is your problem?" He asked. You scoffed. "I should be asking you that. Let go of me." You tried to yank your hand away but he tightened his grip. "I said let go!" You yelled. He pushed you against the wall and smacked his hand down next to your head. "What is wrong with you lately?! Why are you being such a bitch?!" He yelled. You scoffed. "I'm sorry, I didn't know that if my boyfriend's whole attitude changed over the past few months and hasn't been cooperating with me that I wasn't supposed to act like a bitch." You said sarcastically. He fake laughed. "Oh don't try to blame this all on me, you're just as much to blame. You're the one who decided not to talk to me all week." "Because you're not here anymore! You always leave!" "I leave because you don't talk to me!" You shook your head. "We're just going in circles. That's all we've been doing." You shook him off you and went in your closet and grabbed a small suitcase. "What-What are you doing?" Bobby asked. You didn't answer and started putting clothes in it. "Stop." He said. He started taking your clothes out and throwing them on the floor. "Stop packing." "No! Stop taking my stuff out!" You snapped. "No! You're not going anywhere!" He yelled, grabbing your wrists. Tears started pooling in your eyes. "Bobby, let go." You said calmly. "I said no." He said. You yelled out in frustration. "Why not? You get to leave, so why can't I?" "I said you're not going anywhere!" He yelled as he pushed you onto the ground. You were shocked and tears started falling. He knelt down beside you and grabbed your shoulders. "What part of that don't you understand?" He slurred. He watched as you sobbed beneath him. "And why are you crying? You look horrible." He let go of you, pushing you back down. He stood up and started walking out. He threw your suitcase on the floor. "By the way, I cheated on you yesterday." You gasped. Despite the emotional damage Bobby just cause, you found the will to still fight back. "Are you serious?" You asked, standing up. You walked up to him and pushed him. "Are you serious?!" You started punching his chest and he grabbed your fists. He looked like he was about to pass out, so you backed off. "I should've made her my girlfriend instead of you." He said quietly, through half-lidded eyes. He let go and walked out the room, leaving you there, sobbing. You fell to you knees, and cried yourself to sleep. The next morning, you woke up still on the floor, and your face was stained with dried tears. You slowly got up and saw the mess Bobby made with all your clothes and sighed. You went to the bathroom and washed your face, then slowly went out into the living room where Bobby was sleeping on the couch still in last nights clothes. The alcohol smell was faded but you could still smell it. You remembered what he confessed last night and almost wanted to cry again. You ignored him, and your feelings, and went to the kitchen and made coffee. You were standing at the counter with your eyes closed, waiting for the coffee to get done, when you hear footsteps. You looked to where they came from and saw Bobby standing there, rubbing his eyes. You looked back at the single serve coffee maker."Uh, what happened last night?" He asked. "You came home drunk, pushed me against the wall, didn't let me leave, and uh-" You were about to tell him about the cheating, but decided not to. "Yeah." You finished. He looked at the floor. "I'm sorry." He said. You just laughed. "For what? It's just gonna happen again. Like I said last night, we're just going in circles, but you probably don't remember." You said quietly. He stayed silent. "Bobby, can I be honest with you?" You started. He looked back up. "Yeah, of course." You took a deep breath. "I don't think I can do this anymore." He looked suprised. "What do you mean?" He asked. "You know what it means." You grabbed your mug after the last drip of coffee went in and started adding your cream and sugar. Bobby walked up to you. "You're breaking up with me." He paused. "Am I right?" "Yeah." You said, voice cracking. He took a few steps back and nodded. Honestly, you didn't want to break up with him. You wanted him to say no, beg you to rethink, and promise that you both can work things out. But he didn't. "Alright." Was what he said. "If that's what you want." The apartment was in your name so you took it and Bobby moved out the next day. As he was walking out the door after getting the rest of his things, he stopped and looked at you. "Can I at least get one last hug?" He asked. You hesitantly walked up and wrapped your arms around his neck. He pulled you into a tight hug, then let go. "I guess this is goodbye then." He said. "Yeah." He walked out, gave you one last look, then left. Only this time, it was for good.
