You kept tossing and turning in your bed. When you opened your eyes, you looked at the clock. 3:02 am. You sighed but quickly held your breath when you felt a striking pain in your lower abdomen. "Ahh." You winched. You got up and went to the bathroom where you saw the red stain in your panties. 'Already? I wasn't supposed to start for another 2 days.' You groaned and cleaned yourself up and changed. Luckily you didn't get anything on the sheets. You slowly crawled back into bed when you instantly felt another sharp pain making you wince again. "Babe, are you okay?" Your husband mumbled. "I'm fine. It just feels like I'm being stabbed in the ovaries!" You snapped. "I'm sorry." You whispered. "Great, it's that time of the month." "What's that supposed to mean?!" "Nothing dear. I'll be right back." Henry got up and left the room, leaving you there clutching your sides. He came back with a heating pad and some pain killers. He plugged the heating pad into the wall, turned it on and placed it on your stomach. "Here." He gave you a pain pill and a cup of water. "I also know how you get on your periods, so I brought you some peices of chocolate." He set them in the nightstand and crawled into bed next to you. He pulled you into his chest and his nuzzled his face in your neck. "Thank you." You said. You felt him smile against your skin. "Anything for you. I don't like seeing my baby in pain." He said. Your turned your head and gave him a peck on the lips. "If I could take your place, I would." He said. "No you wouldn't." "Why not?" "You see what I go through, do you really want to go through that?" "If it means you won't be in pain anymore." "You are too sweet. What did I do to deserve a husband like you?" "Just being you. Now go to sleep, I don't want you to be tired." You smiled to yourself and went to sleep.
