"Seungkwan-ah....what will you give me this christmas?" The girl with pigtails said as they watch the sunset together with her bestfriend. "I give you lots of love!" Seungkwan said with a smile. "Hm...that's what you did last year.." The girl said who's a little bit disappointed.

"What do you want me to give you then?" Seungkwan asked. "I want your teddy bear tho...but its ok if you don't...I know it's your favorite teddy bear." The girl said quite shy as she fiddled her fingers while looking at the ground.

"Maxelle!" Her mom called.

"Bye Seungkwan-ah..." The girl said and went home.

"Did I tell you not to be friends with that boy?" Her mom asked with an angry face.

The girl didn't as she was guilty and sad because her mom doesn't want her to be friends with Seungkwan. Her family is not in good terms with Seungkwan's family.

"You'll never leave this house again, you understand?" Her mom said and she nodded but tears are starting to flow out from her eyes.

She cried silently at her room.

Days passed when she stayed at home, she misses Seungkwan already. She wonder what he's doing or if he had eaten already or if he's looking for her.

The girl felt sad and even tho it's christmas season, she can't feel it cuz she can't see her bestfriend anymore.

Until the Christmas day came. There are many foods inside the house and everyone is receiving presents and happy. Except for Maxelle who is still longing for her bestfriend.

Then she managed to have 3 gifts. One from her mother, one from her father and one from someone who didn't wrote his name but she knows who's it from since the sender wrote "cutie" which is the codename for her and her bestfriend.

She opened it to see what Seungkwan gave her.

It's the teddy bear she wanted. She immediately hugged it and it still smelled like Seungkwan. It feels like hugging seungkwan. She smiles.

Then she noticed there was a card.

She read it..

Dear Cutie,

      Merry Christmas! Did you received the teddy bear? Take a good care of it huh? I will punch you if you tear it up, haha. I missed you my cutie.....do you also missed me? I'm sure you do....mom and dad didn't let me leave the house since the last time we met. I'm sorry we didn't met each other since then. Don't cry ever again ok? Be strong, my cutie. I won't be there to protect you anymore. It hurts not to see you anymore but will you promise me that you'll find me? I will find you too, I promise. Take care, my cutie. Merry Christmas.

Just then the girl started crying silently.

"I promise I'll find you Seungkwan.." The girl whispered with tears in her face.

After 12 years....

"Seungkwan-ah..." Maxelle talks again to her teddy bear who is sitting on her bed.

"I'll be back ok?" She bid goobye and pats the bear's head.

She's going to start her first day of being a doctor.

"Goodmorning Dr. Lee.." the other doctors in her department are greeting her as she's walking towards her office.

She fixed her things to get started for the day.

Until she recieved a phone call to help them to take carr of a patient.

She walked through the corridors of the hospital and entered the emergency room.

There she saw a guy which is her patient for a while. There were no other doctors available for this patient except her.

"He got a bike accident and his left leg is temporarily paralized." The nurse said. "Give me an x-ray of his left leg." She ordered.

She checked the guys vitals and blood pressure then heart beat. Everything is fine except for the patient's left leg.

"Will I be able to walk again doctor?" The guy asked. "Let's see first." She said and smiled.

After recieving the x-ray of the patient, she examined it. It says that the patient's left leg can still be able to heal and it's needed a rehabilitation therapy.

She explained everything to the patient.

"What's your name again?" The girl asked. "Boo Seungkwan." The patient replied.

'It's a familiar name...I just can't remember where I heard that.' The girl said inside her head but shrugged it off because he has some better things to do.

The nurse took the patient to his room for more further examination.

The patient's rehabilitation therapy has been started and the girl is there at the patient's room to check on his condition.

"How's your therapy doing, mr. Boo?" The doctor asked. "I'm doing great doctor!" The patient said with a smile. "Is there any members of the family who'll visit you or something? I see you always alone when I visit you." The doctor asked. "My girlfriend is going to visit me today." The patient said. "Good. Then, I'll see tomorrow." The doctor said and left the door.

"My Seungkwan will never have a girl besides me." She whispered.

After almost 2 months, the patient has been released at the hospital.

The patient got an idea to thank the doctor. He invited her to have dinner.

After the doctor's shift, she dressed up for the dinner that her patient prepared.

"You're looking beautiful today doctor." The patient greeted. "Stop saying foolish words." The doctor replied. "Why are you always rude around me doctor?" The patient asked.

"Anyways..congratulations for your recovery.." The doctor said. "Thank you.." The patient said and they continue to eat.

After dinner, the patient asked the doctor if they could stroll on the streets and such.

While walking down the streets of Seoul, Maxelle got awkward around him and he doesn't know why.

Until she saw a claw machine and played it.

"You're playing this thing too?" He asked. "Why? Am I not allowed?" She asked while focusing on the game. "I'm the god of claw machine you know?" He boasted and in an instant the claw didn't got the plushie she wanted.

"Tsk. Let's see if you're a true god of claw machine.." She challenged.

Seungkwan focused at the game and surprisingly, he got the plushie.

The girl's eyes was in state of shock. She can't believe what happen.

"Close your mouth doctor...a bug may come inside." Seungkwan teased as he gave the plushie to the doctor.

She took the plushie and said thank you..

"Oppa~" A voice was heard from nearby so the both of them looked at the direction where the voice is coming from.

It was a girl in a dress

The girl walks up to Seungkwan and hugged him.

Seungkwan stood there frozen.

"Oh! Unnie, who are you?" The girl asked Maxelle. "I'm.....no one..just walking around.." She smiled and went walking out.

Seungkwan was about to follow her but he can't cuz the girl's grip on him is tight.

The doctor was completely gone when Seungkwan harshly took the girl's grip out of him.

"O-oppa..." The girl's voice is full of confusions.

"Stop calling me that.." He says. "Look...I already told dad that I'm not gonna marry you, ok?" He added. "But he didn't agreed to it." The girl said. "I don't care." He says and walks away.

"Aigoo..." Maxelle sighs and looked at Seungkwan which is her teddy bear.

"Seungkwan-ah...why am I feeling like this?" She talks to her teddy bear once again.

"It's not the Seungkwan I know before, but why do I get this feeling that he's the one I've been looking for all these years?" She said with frustrations in her voice and didn't noticed, a tear fell in her eye.

*knock knock*

A knock on the door was heard, the girl opened and revealed Seungkwan in front of the door.

"Oh...hey." The girl said.

"There's no time for greeting, let's go." He suddenly said and pulled the girl into the car.

"Wait what are you doing? Where are we-" her sentence was stopped by Seungkwan pecks her lips to shut up.

She doesn't know what to think, she's confused if she'll be mad or not.

You were left there speechless as he put on the engine and drove.

"Can I just ask, where are we going?" You asked with full of frustrations, curiosity, anxiety...damn, you're would just burst out and your heart with feels.

"Shut up Cutie.." He just simply said and continued driving with a speed.

"No one calls me that except for my- wait a second.." You stopped what you're going to say to see his smirk on his face.

Then he held her hand and intertwined them.

"Yes...I'm your Seungkwannie..your cutie...Maxelle..." He confessed and tears are already flowing because of happiness.

Maxelle stared at the road you're taking and just smiled then wiped your tears away.

"I'm so glad..." You said. "Me too." He said and kissed the back of your hand.

But then, she heard a gunshot and were surprised by it so she unexpectedly screamed of fear.

"Boo Seungkwan and Maxelle Lee! Stop the car!" A voice was heard as it was on speaker.

Seungkwan's speed was lit!

Then he took out a gun.

"Wait...Seungkwan-ah.." He didn't let her finish talking and asked her a question.

"Can you drive?" He favored and she gladly took it and they switched positions really really fast and then all they heard were gunshots.

"Please, Seungkwan be careful.." she said.

Gunshots were heard.

Maxelle was thinking of a plan to escape.

"Seungkwan-ah...I have a plan.." He looked at the girl.

"What plan?" He asked. "Just hold on tight, we're gonna fly..." She said and started to speed up the car then turned to face the side of the bridge and drove towards the water.

The car made a splash sound on the water.

As soon as the car got down the water, she tried to open the door.

Maxelle looked at Seungkwan in wide eyes as the door in his side doesn't budge either.

They stared to kick the door of the car as the water is going inside the car and in a few minutes they will drown. The car is slowly sinking.

They have to be fast before they drown.

She kicked the door with all your might but it can't be helped.

Seungkwan had an idea and smashed the window and let her go out first.

Both of them swimmed up until they reached the end where they can breathe the air. Both of them are panting and wet by the water.

"What now?"Seungkwan asked.

"Let's just swim towards the land." She said and started swimming.

"Are we really going to live here for now?" Maxelle asked Seungkwan as she looked at this beautiful island.

"This is mine so no need to bother." He said and started walking then she followed.

"No one will know that we're here. Only few people knows this." He explains.

After a little bit of walking, we reached a wooden house, feel the royalty jungle vibe.

"Who did this?" Maxelle asked full of awe.

"Me." He proudly said.

"I even carved mine and your name somewhere here." He said with a smile. She smiled too. She can't wait to see that.

She walked inside and its very cozy.

"You like it here?" He asked. "Definitely." Maxelle said with a smile and hugged him. "Thank you." Maxelle said and kissed his cheek.

"Aww....my cutie..you've grown up already." He said and hugged her tightly and she hugged him too.

"I missed you...very much." She said. "Aww..I missed you too." Seungkwan said and kissed the girl's forehead.

"By the way...May I ask you something?" The girl started.

Seungkwan hums

"What was the reason we are hiding?" She finally asked. "We, I mean you, are being chased." The girl's face turned into confusion.

"Dad found out that we met. He want me to marry another woman and I don't like that because I still love you. He doesn't like you since we're kids remember? He made us far from each other and now that we're finally together I'm not letting you go again." He said with intense starring at your eyes that is almost tearing up.

He hugged you tightly again.

"Thank you for keeping your promise." Seungkwan said. "Thank you too." She replied.

"So what are we planning to do now? Are we going to hide here forever?" Maxelle asked. "No..we will leave when we're ready." Seungkwan said.

It's still 3:40 in the morning when Maxelle woke up.

She saw Seungkwan's beautiful innocent sleeping face with the sound of his little snores.

His arms wrapped around her.

She smiles and took the arms away and stood up to go to the kitchen as she was thirsty. She brought her phone for flashlight.

After drinking water, her phone rang...

It was from an unknown number so she rejected it.

But after a few seconds her phone rang again from the same number.

She got curious and answered the phone.

"Who's this?" She asked.

"Maxelle Lee...."

This voice...

This is familiar...

Seungkwan woke up without Maxelle by his side. This made him panic. He didn't see Maxelle everywhere in the house. Even in the tree house.

But then he recognized a note on the refrigerator.

"Goodmorning Seungkwannie~! I'm sorry I didn't say I'll leave but don't worry I'll be handling things. I love you my cutie💕" The note said.

Seungkwan got the idea and immediately went to his father's mansion to talk to him.

He barged on the old man's office and caught him sipping tea.

"Oh! My great son! How are you?" He smiles and note the sarcasm.

"Where's Maxelle?" He asked furiously.

"Oh...about her...I made sure she'll have a great time." Her father said with a sarcastic smile.

The boy got more furious and collared his own father.

"Tell me where she is." He said with gritted teeth.

"She's inside the room of death..where no one ever left alive." The old man laughs.

"There's nothing you can do, son. She approved the deal." The old man sighs. The boy let go of his father and asked in confusion. "What deal?"

"I gave a her a deal, if she survive the room of death, then I'll leave the two of you. She dealt with her life and death." The old man laughs again.

Inside the room of death.....

"I won't lose..."

"I'll fight..."

"This is a fight for Seungkwan..."

"If I die, it's for him..."

"But I'll survive this.."

Those are the words inside Maxelle's head while fighting the obstacles that are prepared for her.

Physical and mental strength are tested on her.

Blades and crashing ceilings are thrown at her. Beasts are with their sharp claws and teeth, together with their strength while Maxelle only have her knife.

Different codes are testing at her and logics to test her mental strength.

The last one was the hardest.

You'll feel that everything is real but it isn't.

They know your weakness, they know where you are strong at.

The first was her phobia.

She has tripophobia

She has phobia for amphibians

She has a little bit of fear for drowning also.

This will be so hard for her.

All kinds of tripophobia are all over the room, even the ground. She cries in fear. She's shaking already.

Then the room turned to have full of snakes and frogs and other amphibians around.

She can't open her eyes out of fear.

She keeps thinking of Seungkwan to ease the fear.

Then the last, the room went back to its normal whit form.

But this time, water is going inside the room and it's going to be full in 20 minutes. She needs to find the tiny white button in able to get out alive.

She's already shaking, she can't think straight as the tripophobia pictures are coming in her head.

She cries as she tries to find the tiny white button.

She walked and run inside the room searching for the damn button.

The water are almost in her tummy and she still can't find the tiny button. She swim and swim, still finding the button.

There's only 5 minutes and she'll drown to death.

She still try to find the button.

She starts to get anxious but still sure to find the button.

Until she touched something tiny and pushed it to see if it's the button she's been looking for.

It is!

One side of the room gave way to go outside.

When she got out of the room, she suddenly passed out.

She opens her eyes and she see Seungkwan.

"Seungkwan-ah.." she calls. "Maxelle..." Seungkwan calls amd caressed her cheek.

The girl is in tears.

In a few seconds, an old man entered the room.

"Congratulations...aside from that you are the first one to survive my 'room of death', I'll do as I promise." The old man smiles.

Then he approached his son.

"You've picked a beautiful, strong and brave girl." His father said and smiled then left the room.

After the old man left, they looked at each other's eyes.

Seungkwan kissed his girl's forehead.

"Are you alright? Does anything hurt?" He asked.

"I'm actually traumatized, but now that you're here, there's nothing I have to be afraid of." She said with a smile.

"Starting today, I'll protect you." Seungkwan said and hugged Maxelle tightly in his arms.

"I love you Seungkwan-ah."

"I love you too Maxelle. Thank you for everything."

"No one will ever stop us now." Seungkwan said and kissed Maxelle's lips.
