Q: what are your favorite Korean movies? Whether it be a horror, fantasy, or otherwise. I'd love to hear what you guys like!

A: Horror- The Silenced.

Guys, this is seriously my all time favorite movie. It's not a bunch of cheap jump scares or highly uneducated girls with big boobs running around. It's more of a slow building suspense/unsettling feeling with a great development of characters and beautiful cinematics. The friendship between Yeon dok and Ju Ran is like the salvation from the grim situation. Ah, I love it so.

Action/comedy/melodrama/suspense/ GUYS THIS MOVIE HAS IT ALL= Secretly, Greatly

This movie seems like a ridiculously hilarious film at first, um, but don't watch it if that's what you want. If you want your guts ripped out, then you can watch it! :D also the characters are so stinking cool. The chopstick lights out scene (you'll know when you get there) will have you dying.

Fantasy- Vanishing Time

Adorable kid's friendship, unique storyline, great characters, sad scenes. 👌

Others I like:
Memories of the Sword
War of the Arrows
Werewolf Boy ( a classic )
Train to Busan (I don't like zombie movies usually but this was well done)
