@ilovekotlc brought this particular topic to my attention today, and I don't remember If I have ever addressed it all together as one in my book before.

  Problems With the Lost Cities

1. Twins, triplets and, multiple births.
2. Matchmaking
3. Talentless
4. Talents
5. Gnomes, goblins and, other species.

1. I don't understand why twins are so horrible? I understand the genetics thin out but that shouldn't even matter. It's not like anyone chooses to be a twin or a triplet and it's not like any parent chooses that for their children either. I think that having a twin would be super cool. I have a step-sister that I've known and lived with since I was 4 who's only 2 months older than me. It's pretty annoying to share some friends and we fight a lot. But it's cool too because we get to share a lot of tea. And we both understand how the other is feeling about stuff going on at school since we are in the same grade.

  Side note; I think that Bex Lex and Rex will all get powers like inflicting, pyrokinetics, enhancer or telepathy and become some of the most powerful elves or something crazy.

  2. matchmaking would be a lot better if it was more based on personality and shared likes then genetics and other related things. Also, if it didn't really matter if you chose someone of your list or not (unless they're related) it would be much better because the amount of prejudice their world gives would be diminished significantly.

   In Sophie's case, it would be easier for her to choose who she wanted if she just got the scroll but, not in the way your thinking. It's like the flip of a penny thing that people use to decide things. Well, subconsciously you decide which one you want more before it even lands and that's why some people ignore what the penny said because they made up there mind even though they couldn't do it before they pulled they penny out. So when people like Sophie see that oh person a is higher than person b and their excited but a little disappointed when they realize they wanted person b all along. Or they feel confident and really happy that person b was lower and they end up with person a and they wonder why they even were caught in a triangle with person b anyways. It's really dumb that people get angry about who they want to be with. It's not like they're the one with them.

  3. so the talentless still have powers like blinking, telekinetics, temperature regulation, and much more. So I don't really understand why there being shunned for not having powers, it's not their fault and its not there parents fault that their kid didn't get a power. hey, maybe if you don't have the typical power then you might be more inclined to be much stronger with the typical and common ones. Also, once your 15 and don't have to do ability detecting class you should be put in a class where you train with your average powers. (but still have everyone train with the exillium people though)

  4. I understand why people would be afraid of people that are more powerful than themselves. but to try to ban their ability or restrict it more then necessary is kind of cruel, to be honest. Sure most shades are dark and brooding and usually very silent, but that doesn't mean their untrustworthy, and to ban pyrokenetics just because of one or 2 peoples mistakes is uncalled for. Yes, Fintan should never be allowed to summon everblaze again or even use his powers. But, that doesn't mean that the other innocent people with that power shouldn't be able to light a freaking candle. Also, making jokes about other peoples abilities like what edalines parents did to Grady isn't ok, unless they're absolutely ok with it also. It's not like he chose what power he got.

  5. gnomes are treated unfairly still, even after the plague, and they're still so happy to help. Yet some people still treat them as slaves and pawns in war. What the heck, without them the elves would literally die. I don't know why people are so afraid of other species like goblins and ogres I'm sure most of them are nice even if their not the most flower power type of people and they are pretty cutthroat. All the species are working together to make the world as grand and noble as possible but, the elves are still awful and speciesist. Well, at least a few.

  I could go into a great amount of detail with each topic than I already have. But, I have been editing for the first time and writing for the past 4 or so hours. I was editing for about 3 of those hours. So this is the most amount of time I have ever spent writing a chapter, in turn, I am exhausted and my head hurts from staring and my computer screen. this chapter isn't even long why did I even try lol.
