Ocean squealed, so loud that everyone in the hallway swung around to glare at her. Astrid bit her lip and Avery and Star patted her on the shoulder. They had just delivered the news that Caden had attended the ball with Hydra. Oceans own cousin. "I doubt she even likes him." Said Avery. "Yeah, and Caden likes you." Said Astrid. Ocean sighed and shut her locker door. Axel and Ace sauntered past, both looking a little ruffled, perhaps because of their sister, Annabelle's, switch to the bad side. Cara was standing next to Clementine, who was critiquing Cara's appearance. Cara flushed and looked down, self conscious. "And your hair? Washed out blonde? Really?" Said Clementine. "Hey, shut it!" Said Ocean, glaring right at Clementine. Cara gave Ocean a thankful smile, and Axel looked at Ocean, as though he had never really noticed her before.

Cara stumbled over, relieved to get away from Clementine. "Why are you friends with her? You realize everything she's saying is totally lies right?" Said Ocean. Cara sighed. "I thought Clementine was nice, but then she convinced me that Hydra liked Ace, this guy I like, and I got really jealous. She encouraged me to stop her, but I was really being mean. Then all my friends ditched me and she's the only one I have left." Cara wiped her eye. "Girl, that ends now." Said Ocean, linking her arm with Cara's. They walked off with Avery. Astrid's mouth dropped open. "Did you hear what she said? That she likes Ace?" Said Star. "But I like him!" Said Astrid. The two glanced down at their matchmaking list.

Ace watched Cara walk away. "What was that about?" Asked Ace. Clementine stuttered. "Just Cara being bratty. She has an obsessive crush on you, you know." Ace turned bright red. Axel steered Ace away. "What was that about? You NEVER blush." He said. Ace shrugged, pondering to himself what had happened.
