Cara skipped to school, excited to see all of her friends again. Her mother had taken Cara's family to the Forbidden Cities and it was a lot of fun. Cara brought back a candy called M &Ms for her best friend Daffy. When she got to school, everyone greeted her with "hi"s and "welcome back"s. She said hi before running up to Daffy, who was with another girl. A hint of hurt flashed in Cara's eyes before thinking that she was overthinking it. But what if Daffy had made a new friend when she was gone? Cara shook the thought away before hugging Daffy. "DAFFY! I MISSED YOU SO MUCH!" Cara squealed. Daffy hugged her back. "YOU'RE BACK!" She said excitedly. The girl cleared her throat. "Oh right, Cara this is Paisley, Paisley this is Cara, my best friend." Daffy introduced her. "Hi!" Cara said warmly, Paisley returned the smile. Cara wanted to give Daffy the candy but Paisley was there and then she would ask for some so Cara decided to give it to her later. The bell rang and Cara rushed to her class. "Ah Ms. Sencen, how was your trip?" The teacher asked smiling. "Great!" 

Cara said before taking her seat, which was next to Ace. Ace wasn't here yet but Cara took out her notebooks and her pens, saying hi to a few people. A few seconds before the bell rang, Ace and another girl walked in talking. Ace looked up and saw Cara, giving her his charming smile, Cara of course, smiled back. "Excuse me, you're sitting in my seat." The girl huffed, crossing her arms. "Oh um, this is my seat." Cara said, confused. The girl turned to Ace. "Can you believe this new girl?" She asked him. Cara's mouth formed an 'O' shape. So she didn't know who she was. " "Um. Cara isn't new. She was visiting the Forbidden Cities." Ace explained to the girl. "You aren't supposed to go there." The girl said clearly annoyed. "We'll my family is an exception" Cara said defending for her family. "Is your family a royal family or something?" The girl asked amused. "Her family is the Sencens" Ace said biting his lip.

The girl's eyebrows shot up. "Oh right. Since Cara is here, Astrid. You may sit with someone else." The teacher says. Ace takes a seat next to her. "Hey, how was your trip?" He asks flipping his notebook open. "Great!" Cara smiles. She didn't know who Astrid or someone was but Ace was definitely off limits.
