LOOK, I had this really great idea and I would complete this story or whatever. I'm so sorry this isn't done. I hate it when I read a Wattpad story and there's LITERALLY ONE CHAPTER. I won't be continuing this story... Sorry! Probably wasn't that good for the literal four people who read this. Thanks, guys, whoever found this heap of junk and read it!
Also, I was working on this before stopping. Thought you might want to see it. It isn't finished and never will be, but you can finish it in a story as long as you credit me.
"What even is this anymore?"
The words came from Sophie, and she wasn't taking them back. Some random weirdo had crept into her home with a large sign that said, LET'S MAKE PEACE AND REACT ---- TO LIFE! in purple, blue, and gold letters. It was the same random person who'd came in the other day, wearing an addler and human clothes. She'd told her friends about KFC! They were vegetarians!
"Reacting to life?" Sophie asked. "Really?"
"Of course," TV, as she called herself, answered. "You and your friends were angry at me yesterday ---- and I can't say I don't know why. I was new. I popped up in your home. And I told your friends about eating killed meat. Sorry. I was pressured by some other writers..." (BTW not you @ilovekotlc ---- you were my favorite.)
"Other writers?" Sophie's eyes narrowed. "What are you talking about?"
"I'm a writer, didn't you know?" TV asked. "I thought you did. I record things, you know. Simple, really. All you have to do is listen back to the recordings of us meeting, then typing it on Wattpad and watching literally five people from the seven billion on this world reply."
"Wattpad?" Sophie had heard of a few mentions of the app and website back in her human years, around the time she was nine years old. Kids were all over the app ---- writing fanfiction stories, blogs, any kind of writing. Of course, Sophie felt terrified of even more people knowing about her, and decided to keep quiet. "You mean that website with millions of people on it? You tell them about US?"
"I bet the only people who read are the people who already know about you," TV said, as though it were the most calming thing to say. People knew about Sophie and her friends?
Human people?
Sophie was totally dead.
First of all, the Council would take back her place as a Regent. They could also find the website on their own, see the source from whatever humans were finding it (probably this TV person), and hold a Tribunal for Councillor Not-Her-Mom. They'd also probably find out that Councillor Not-Her-Mom shared a secret from her cache with her about stellarlune, and then probably Exile her. What was even worse was that then the Council would be unbalanced with the Empath's sweetness, even if Terik and Bronte were still on it, and the whole elvin world would flop over.
Plus, it would explain how the Neverseen knew about Sophie's plans. Because no one ---- not even an elf ---- was that good.
"You have to stop."
It was all Sophie needed to say.
"You have to stop this, now, TV. If anyone finds out, our world will ----"
"Be destroyed," TV interrupted. "I know.
