this has spoilers about Legacy........

Sophie sighed. It has been 3 weeks since Keefe had been in a coma. She visited every single day checking if he was awake. Still nothing. She was coming home from her missions from team Valiant.

"Hey kiddo," Grady said, crushing her into a hug. "Everything okay?" He studied her face.

"Everything's fine," she lied. "I was just thinking about team Valiant and all."

Edaline came in holding mallowmelt. "Oh Sophie! Biana is waiting upstairs," she stared at Sophie. "You look tired. Everything okay in team Valiant?"

Sophie forced a smile. "Yeah, everything is in control." She hid her tears and ran upstairs to meet Biana.

Biana's face lit up when she saw Sophie. "Hey! I haven't seen you in a while," she had been away from team V for a while. She was dealing with some other things. Like Alvar. Alvar was found dead in the Neverseen's hide out.

She sat next to Biana on her big canopy bed. "How are you holding up?"

Biana was dressed in a pale pink tunic. Her chocolate brown hair was tied in one braid that fell down her shoulders. She chewed her lip. "It's.....complicated."

They sat there for a while, in silence. "So, I heard you and Tam got together," Sophie spoke up first. "How's the relationship going?"

Biana grinned. "It's all good. I'm really lucky to have Tam," she looked at Sophie. "He's so sweet."

Sophie laughed for the first time today. "Sweet? Tam? Well he's lucky to have you."

Biana's smile faded. "How's...Keefe?" She gently asked, touching her shoulders.

Sophie sighed. She put her head in her hands. Things have been so gloomy without Keefe. She felt she was responsible for Keefe being in a coma. She didn't want to lose her friend. "Still nothing." Sophie felt like the tears were about to burst out. A big lump was always in her throat.

"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have mentioned that." Biana said, twisting her fingers it turned purple.

Sophie looked up. "No, I'm sorry. I ruined the mood."

Biana rubbed her back. "Keefe's going to wake up. He's strong."

"Yeah," Sophie said. "He's strong." She repeated.

Biana got a call from Tam. "Oh, I'm so sorry Sophie, but I have to take this."

Sophie gave Biana a strained smile and nodded. "It's okay."

Biana told her to stay strong and left.

Sophie couldn't keep the tears inside her anymore. Everything was so hard without Keefe. She cried so hard. That made her feel a little bit better. Tears rolled down her cheeks and she couldn't think of anything besides Keefe. It made her think about her times with Keefe. His laugh, his smile and his jokes that made her feel better in her sad times.

She needed to see Keefe. She went to the leap master 500. "Foxfire!" She said.

Grady noticed her. "Where are you going?"

"To see Keefe." She replied and stepped into the light.

"Hey Sophie," Elwin said. "Here to see Keefe?"

Sophie nodded. "Why else would I be here?"

Elwin smiled sadly. "He's doing okay."

Sophie let out a breath of relief and went to his cot. Keefe lay still in his bed. His face was pale, but he was breathing. Tears filled up in her honey brown eyes. She missed him so much.

Elwin noticed her crying. "Should I-" he pointed to the exit.

Sophie caught a tear that was falling down her cheek. "Thanks for understanding."

Elwin squeezed her shoulder and slowly walked out of the room.

Sophie dabbed her remaining tears and spun around to see Keefe. She pulled out one of her eyelashes and touched Keefe's hand.

"Hey...how are you doing?" She asked. But no response. Just Keefe's soft breathing. "I'm sorry I didn't visit here for a while."

Keefe's left eye fluttered a little. But he didn't wake up.

"Everything is okay in the Lost cities," she remembered something. "Oh right! Biana and Tam are together. What do you think about that?"

Sophie thought she was imagining. Keefe's lip curled into a smirk.

Sophie grinned. "Keefe, can you hear me?"

Keefe's right eye fluttered. She took it as a yes. "Keefe, I miss you. You need to wake up because I can't do this without you."

Keefe's eyes fluttered. She could see him opening his eyes for a split second. Then two. Then three. Then his ice blue eyes stayed open. Sophie was too surprised she just stood there in shock. ". . .Keefe?" She quietly aksed. "You're awake?"

Keefe smirked. "Miss me, Foster?" he let out a wince. "Oh gosh, my whole body hurts."

Sophie tried to ran out the door. "I'll go and get Elwin."

Keefe grabbed her wrist. "No," his eyes bore into hers. "Stay with me. I...need some moment alone with you."

Sophie wasn't sure what he meant by that, but she nodded. "Okay," she checked his temperature. "I guess you're feeling okay."

Keefe let out a raspy breath. "You could say that," he studied her face. "Sleeping okay?"

Sophie hesitated. She couldn't lie to Keefe. "Not really." Sophie figeted with her cloak.

"I remember the time when we first met,"  he met her eyes. "You exploded lady Galvin's cloak."

Sophie blushed. "I wouldn't call it explode."

Keefe chuckled. "Sure, sure."

Keefe just lind of stared at Sophie which made her cheeks flush and look away from him. "What?" Sophie asked. "Do I have something on my face?"

Keefe blushed. "Um, no. Nothing. Sorry." He stuttered. (Sophieeeee he likes you!!!!!)

Sophie tilted her head a little. "Ooh-kay?"

Keefe smiled. "Just good to see you. When I was in that coma," he shuddered. Sophie put her arms around herself. She was too glad that Keefe was awake and well. "All I heard was you're voice. To fight this and wake up." Keefe said.

Sophie blushed again for the millionth time. "Oh.... well, I'm so glad you woke up," she clapped her hands. "I can't wait to tell the others!"

Keefe frowned. "Oh right. The others."

Sophie suddenly remembered something. "What were you trying to tell me earlier?"

Keefe scratched his head and he suddenly became interested in a flower beside his bead. "Um....wow this is not easy."

"Then can you show me?" Her eyebrows scrunched together. (Sophie, get a grip! He likes you!)

Keefe blushed at the thought of showing it. "Um, that would be kind of awkward."

Sophie got confused. "Awkward? Why would it be awkward?"

Keefe sighed and grabbed her wrists and pulled her closer to him. Keefe's soft breath tickled her cheek as she got close to him until they were a inch apart form touching. "What...are you doing?" Sophie's voice shook.

Keefe gulped. "Showing it to you." He leaned in and pressed his lips on her. As soon as their lips touched, fireworks were about to shoot out of Sophie's gut. She squealed a bit and she could feel Keefe's heart racing against hers. Sophie didn't even admit her feelings to herself. But when Keefe kissed her, she finally understood her feelings. She slowly parted her lips from him. Both of them were blushing red as a tomato. Or maybe redder.

"So," Keefe smirked. "Bangs boy has a girlfriend you say?"

This was a long chapter! Did you like it? I tried to show Keefe's nervousness in front of Sophie and Sophie finally admitting her feelings to Keefe.....

Stay safe!❤
