Hey so Galaxy230 requested a Sophitz one-shot so here you go!!!!

     As Sophie walked into Foxfire that morning, Biana and just about every other girl in the school was squealing happily.

     "SOPHIE!" Biana shouted, running up to her. "You're late! You missed the big announcement!"

     What big announcement?" Sophie asked, walking with Biana to her locker.

     "There's going to be a ball! And it's on Saturday! And I can't wait!!!!" Biana squealed happily (Today is Wednesday).

     "Okay...." Sophie trailed off, not knowing what she was so happy about.

     "Sophie! Don't you get it??!"

     "Uhm, no, I don't.  What's the big deal?"

     "Well, elven balls are very different from human balls. You can't go without a date, and they rarely ever happen. And, you get to wear amazing, beautiful, fancy dresses!" Sophie signed as they reached her locker, now realizing what that meant. If she went, she would have to get a makeover. Either way though, Sophie didn't think anyone would even ask her, especially not the one person she wanted to ask her.

     "Well Biana, I don't know if I'm going to go because I don't think anyone will ask me." She said, opening her locker and grabbing her Elementalism things. Biana just gave her a knowing look and ran off to class. Sophie signed and shut her locker, heading to Elementalism.

----------------After Class---------------

     Sophie was putting her books away in her locker about to head to lunch when Keefe came running up to her.

     "Keefe? What are you doing here?" She asked as she closed her locker.

     "Foster! You have to come quick! Fitz really needs you! RIGHT NOW!" He shouted, skidding to a stop in front of her.

     "Oh no! Is he okay? Where is he?" She asked, her face showing worry. Keefe grabbed her hand.

     "Come on. Follow me!" He said, dragging her off down the hall. He brought her to the leap master. On the floor in front of it sat a small teal box, big enough to hold a pair of shoes.

     "Keefe? Where is Fitz? What is this box? Do we need to leap somewhere?" Sophie asked, picking up the box. Keefe just shot her his signature smirk and shut the door behind her. Sophie, confused, opened the box and found another small box inside, along with a note. She picked it up and started to read it.

Sophie,

     Open the box before you read this note.

     She stopped reading and opened the other box. Inside was a pair of beautiful red-jeweled earrings, and a matching necklace. She gasped as she picked them up. The looked like this.

She put them neatly back into the box and closed it, not wanting to ruin them.  She then picked the note back up and continued to read.

     I hope you like the earrings and necklace, Biana said you looked good in red, and I agreed with her. You might be wondering what they are for, but I will answer everything if you just turn around.

     Sophie turned around to see Fitz behind her, holding a bouquet of red roses and other flowers.

     "Sophie Foster, you are the most kind and beautiful girl I have ever met. Will you go to the ball with me?" He asked, holding out the flowers. She gasped. Then turned crimson. Then nodded. Then screamed,

     "YES! YES! OF COURSE I WILL!" And jumped into his arms, enveloping him in hug, with him moving the flowers out of the way just in time so they wouldn't be crushed. He lightly dropped the flowers to the ground and hugged her back.

-------------------In Lunch-----------------

     After dropping the flowers and jewelry off at Sophie's locker, she and Fitz walked to lunch hand in hand. (By the way, this takes place after they defeated the Neverseen, Sophie, Biana, and Dex are level fours, Tam and Linh level fives, and Fitz and Keefe level sixes.)

     They walked in and got meals, then headed to their table. At first no one noticed them, they were all talking. Tam noticed them first, first with a face with no expression, then smiled slightly  at their intertwined hands. Linh noticed them next, and immediately stopped talking and gasped, then smiled and started clapping her hands together in excitement. That caused everyone else at the table to notice them, and also gasp.

     Sophie and Fitz sat down at the table next to each other. Everyone else at the table was silently watching them, all smiling large smiles (except Tam, who was smiling a small smile).

     "OUR SHIP HAS SAILED!" Biana and Linh shouted at the same time, causing everyone in the lunch room to go silent and look at them, and Sophie and Fitz to blush. Everyone else started talking again though, and stopped looking at them.

     "Dex, Bangs boy, pay up." Keefe said, holding out his hands.

     "Wait... you bet on us?!?" Sophie and Fitz asked simultaneously. Keefe nodded and laughed, as Dex and Tam pulled out 50 lusters each.

     "Wait, what exactly did you bet?" Fitz asked, looking back and forth between Dex and Tam.

     "If you would ask Sophie to the ball today, tomorrow, or Friday. I said Friday, Tam said tomorrow, Keefe said today." Dex answers as he hands Keefe his money.

     "But that's not fair!" Sophie exclaims. "Keefe helped Fitz do it so he knew it was today!"

     Keefe quickly snatches Tam's money and shoves it in his pocket before anyone else can react. He quickly grabs his lunch and runs out, Dex and Tam following him. Biana and Linh laugh.

     "So guys, anyone else have a date yet?" Fitz asked. Biana blushed crimson and Linh turned a light shade of pink.

     "I take it that's a yes?" Sophie asked. Linh nodded.

     "Dex asked me so I'm going with him and Tam asked Biana so she's going with him." Linh answered.

     "YES! I KNEW IT!" Fitz shouted. Everyone looked at them again. "Oops." He muttered. "Anyway, Sophie pay up."

     "Dang it." She said, pulling out 75 lusters.

     "You guys bet on us?!" Biana and Linh say simultaneously.

     "No, just on Linh and Dex." Sophie answers as she hands Fitz the money. "I thought he wouldn't work up the courage to ask you Linh, I figured you would ask him." Sophie says while shaking her head in defeat. The bell rings so they all get up to head to their classes.

--------------Saturday at Noon------------

     Sophie's imparter was ringing but she was busy trying to feed Iggy. She sighed as he spit out the food again and grabbed her imparter. It was Biana.

     "SOPHIE! WE HAVE TO GET READY FOR THE BALL TOGETHER! WE ARE ALREADY LATE!" Biana shouts.

     "Biana, relax, its only noon. The ball starts at 7:00. We have time." Sophie says, moving to sit on her bed.

     "Yeah well, it will take a while to get all three of us ready! I hope you don't mind, but me and Linh are on our way to your place now. So yeah!" Biana says, before a flash of light appeared on the screen. "Okay, we are here! We're coming up to your room now, so bye!" Biana says before hanging up.

"Well Iggy, it looks like you won't have to eat right now." Sophie says. The door opens and shows Biana and Linh, each holding 4 large duffel bags, stuffed full of makeup and elixirs. Sophie paled.

     "Okay girls, first we are going to pick up dresses at Atlantis, I've already pre-ordered them, we just need to pick them up." Biana said, putting all the bags next to Vertina, who turned on by Biana walking in front of her.

     "Ooh! Is there a special occasion?" Vertina asked, looking at all the bags.

     "Yes." Linh said. "There is a ball tonight!" She exclaimed as she set down her bags.

     "I love balls! Are you guys getting ready here? Because I can help you if you are!"

     "That would be amazing Vertina!" Biana exclaimed. "We will be back in about 20 minutes with the dresses, and then we can get ready!"

     "Alrighty!" Vertina said happily before shutting off.

     "LET'S GO GET THOSE DRESSES!" Biana and Linh shout.

--------------In the Dress Shop-----------

     Biana, Linh, and Sophie were all trying on their dresses to make sure they fit. They all did.

     "Perfect girls! We all look Fabulous!" Biana said, twirling around in her dress. "And Sophie, don't even try complaining you're wearing it and that's that." Sophie sighed in defeat. They then leaped back to Havenfield to get ready.

-----------After they got ready------------

     They boys were picking them up there, so they waited downstairs. It was 6:58.  They looked like this.

     At exactly 7:00 the doorbell rang. Edaline answered it after sending Grady upstairs. She let the boys into the living room and their jaws dropped. They all stood there staring at the girls until Edaline cleared her throat.

     "Can I get some pictures?" She asked, holding up a human camera Dex made for Sophie. They all stood together with the boys behind the girls with their arms around them. Tam and Dex had black ties but Fitz had a red tie. Sophie was also the only girl wearing jewelry, besides everyone's panic switches.

     You look so beautiful. Fitz transmitted to Sophie.

     You don't look too bad yourself. She responded, giggling slightly.

     "Alright everyone, now hurry to the ball, you don't want to be late!" Edaline said, shooing them out the door. They light-leaped to Foxfire and walked in, causing everyone to gasp at their entrance.

-----------------After the Ball-------------

     It was a magical night. Sophie and Fitz danced all night, Sophie occasionally stepping on Fitz's feet but he didn't care. At the end of the last dance he dipped her and lightly kissed her. She kissed back and didn't stop grinning, even after he left and she leaped home. It truly was a magical night that she would never forget.
