Pride Month- The whole gang

Word count: ~1600 words

Hi so it's Pride Month (last day but it took me over a week to write this so chill) and I really wanna write this. For the record, the couples are Keefex, Sophitz, and Linhiana. Wylie isn't here because I'm too lazy to write him in. This chapter is a huge mess (I dunno how to write being outside, I'm an inside person). Enjoy some fluff!

They were in the Forbidden Cities, an order from the Black Swan, a meeting was to be held soon, but they were told to enjoy the view for a while. They were in America- Dex believed, as they walked down the streets. They were decorated in colours, though it mostly consisted of rainbows.

"It looks so pretty!" Biana gushed. "It wasn't like this at Italy!"

"I know!" Linh agreed, holding her hand excitedly. "What's going on?"

"It's Pride Month!" Sophie explained. "Where we celebrate not being straight."

"Are all of us not straight?" Marella asked, in disbelief.

"I mean, straight people are allowed and all. But holy crap I think you're right!" Sophie replied.

"How come it's in June? And not the whole year?" Fitz asked.

"Something about the Stonewall riots ending in June. I mean yeah we should be celebrated always, but at least we get a month to go all rainbow mode." Sophie exaggerated the rainbow mode.

Keefe laughed, wrapping an arm around Dex. "At least the gays chose the right colours."

"The rest of the flags are pretty too!" Biana added.

"They are... Oh my god you need to see the straight flag!" Sophie suggested.

"There's... A straight flag?" Marella asked, choking in laughter.

"I think Tam'll like it," Sophie replied, gesturing to the back of the group.

"It's black isn't it?" He deadpanned. "It's probably really ugly, no offense to straight people of course."

"I think, that's a first," Linh remarked.

"What, Bangs Boy not liking something super dark? Or him saying no offense? Cause either one works."

Tam started grumbling, but he was finally making a sound.

"Are you okay back there?" Biana asked. "I mean, come over here!"

"Yeah!" Keefe agreed. "It's not as fun without you annoying me!"

A few seconds later, Keefe tripped, and Tam stood behind him, smiling in satisfaction.

"What the heck was that for!?" Keefe shrieked.

"You asked for it."

Keefe stood up, glaring at Tam. He took a step forward, and flicked his bangs.

A passerby 'awwed' them, and they both glared at her.

"Wrong couple," Keefe muttered, planting on overdramatic kiss on Dex's cheek, causing the younger boy to blush.

"What's up with people anyway? Can people not be friends without people assuming they're in a relationship?" Tam muttered.

"Oh, you think you have it bad?" Marella scoffed, waving her hand. "I keep being paired up with every single person I talk to, but I don't want a relationship! And they keep pairing me with you!"

"Oh no, not Tarella again," Tam sighed.

"Exactly!"

"Hey Soph," Fitz began. "why don't you educate us on the other flags? We know the gay, lesbian, bi, aro, and ace."

Sophie froze. "Have I seriously not talked about trans people? I'm so rude. It's basically when someone doesn't feel like their gender is right. So they switch. And then there's non-binary, in where both genders feel off, so they're typically referred to as they. There's a lot more to the LGBT community, but we can just look around and figure it out for yourselves."

"Huh, elves never do that," Biana commented.

"Maybe it's because elves never see the need. Because they're apparently already so 'flawless'," Tam muttered.

Linh unhooked her arm from Biana's, and moved beside Tam, and they walked in stride.

"Is anyone else hungry?" Keefe asked, rubbing his stomach.

Fitz began to answer. "We don't have the mo-"

"Yes we do," Dex cut in, holding a huge stack of twenty dollar bills, handing a small portion of them to everybody.

"Dex, we went over this in Paris! What if someone catches you?" Sophie gestured to a few onlookers, who looked at them weirdly.

"It's fine, I made a card to fool everyone." He held up a red card, that looked exactly like a bank card.

Keefe ruffled Dex's hair. "There's my Techie Boy!"

Dex smiled, resting his head on Keefe's.

"But when did you get that?" Keefe continued.

"Just now," Dex gestured to a small store, but they could see an ATM behind the window, not to mention that the sign said bank on it. "How did you not notice me leave?" Dex pouted, faking hurt.

"I don't know, I was listening to Foster."

"Wow."

"I'll buy you ice cream if that makes you feel better." Keefe offered, kissing Dex on the forehead.

"Make that cookies and cream and you're sold." Dex grinned, eyes sparkling.

"The food shop is right here dummies," Marella grumbled, dragging them both inside.

"Hello," the cashier began. "What would you like?"

Sophie glanced at her friends. "What size ice cream?" She asked Keefe.

"Extra large!"

"Oh no," Tam and Fitz muttered in unison.

"Don't worry I'll share with Dexy."

"We'll have a large vanilla milkshake," Linh said, resting her head on Biana's shoulder.

Marella yawned. "I think I'll take a latte. Chai tea. Warm. Medium sized."

Tam shrugged. "Chocolate chip cookie and black tea. One sugar."

"Excuse me are you done yet?" An impatient woman asked from behind.

"Oh sorry, I think you should go ahead." Sophie suggested, the group moving behind. "Fitz what do you want?"

"Gelato."

"I don't know if they sell gelato," Sophie glanced at the menu. "I don't see it."

"Aww," Fitz pouted. "How about a strawberry sorbet?"

"Sure! Anything else?"

"Nope!" The entire crew replied.

By the time they all finished deciding, the cashier finished taking the previous order.

"Okay," Sophie began. "A chicken sandwich, medium strawberry sorbet, a small bottle of orange Crush, extra large cookies and cream ice cream, large vanilla milkshake, medium chai tea latte, a chocolate chip cookie, and a black tea with no sugar."

They all watched as the cashier entered each item, and they popped up onto the screen. Sophie made sure that there weren't any mistakes. Fortunately, there weren't.

After a long set of minutes, their order was called. Everyone smiling, they grabbed their stuff, and headed toward the couch seats, each couple taking a section. Marella stuck with Linh and Biana.

"How are you doing?" Linh asked Biana.

"I'm doing great," Biana replied, trying to tear off the plastic from the straw. But it wouldn't break.

Linh giggled. "Here, let me help."

She took the straw from her girlfriend's hand, and began trying to poke a hole. After thirty seconds, Linh succeeded, handing the straw back.

"I'm usually the one helping others do that." Biana remarked.

"To be fair, that was pretty tough."

Marella rolled her eyes. "It's not that hard." In an instant, the plastic burned into nothing.

"Well not all of us are pyrokinetics you know," Biana replied. "Stop showing off."

"I mean that's kinda your job," Linh added, taking a sip of the drink.

From the opposite side, Biana laughed, as she put her straw in the milkshake, and began drinking too.

"How do I get stuck with all the lovebirds?" Marella muttered, a grin on her face.

"Come on Dex, let me do this!" Keefe whined. "I bought an extra large for you!"

Dex flushed. "It's embarrassing!"

Keefe smiled. "We're a couple. Humans do this too. No one's gonna laugh. If it helps, I'll share the embarrassment."

"Fine, you dork." Dex opened his mouth, as Keefe began feeding Dex the ice cream.

They took turns, as Dex fed Keefe. No one stopped to stare or laugh. They were just a normal couple sharing ice cream.

"I-"

"Don't you even dare." Dex cut in, resting a finger on Keefe's mouth.

Keefe pouted. "I just wanted to say I love you."

Dex grinned. "I love you too, you troublemaker."

They both leaned in, though Keefe leaned in to Dex's ear.

"I told you so," he whispered.

Dex leaned back, crossing his arms. "I'm done."

Sophie and Fitz sat in a comfortable silence, as Sophie ate her sandwich and Fitz ate his sorbet.

"I'm glad you stopped asking why I eat chicken," Sophie stated.

"I mean, who am I to stop you? It's in your nature." Fitz responded.

"You wanna try? Just one bite?"

Fitz winced. "Nah, I think I'm fine. The thought's kinda scary, to eat something you killed."

"I mean, a lot of Elvin food tastes like human food."

"You mean the other way around."

"Of course I do," Sophie agreed, dabbing small drop of the sorbet on Fitz's nose. "Of course, I'm not trying to force you to eat anything, who am I to stop you? It's in your nature." She then ate some of his sorbet.

"Hey Soph?"

"Yeah?" She looked into his mesmerizing teal eyes.

"You kinda have something... Here..." He gestured to her mouth. "Let me help with it."

He leaned in and kissed her, and she could taste the strawberry on his lips. When he pulled away, he smiled his movie star smile and she blushed.

"It's all better now."

"Thank you," she whispered, holding his hand.

The moment was ruined by a chime on her imparter. The group had to leave in just a few minutes. Sophie stood up, so she could tell the message to the rest of her friends. They all groaned and pouted, and Sophie couldn't help herself but laugh.

Secondary AN, but I wanna start practicing writing one-shots, if you couldn't tell. It's not something I normally do, and it's kinda hard writing something so short. (Also writing relationship banter is kinda hard because I have no experience with these things)

So if ya want, feel free to request (having a prompt would help a lot). As mentioned in the description, I am not doing smut, and will not be writing ships that are inappropriate (or in the case of Lylie, I'll age them up)
