“Hey (y/n), over here” You saw Antonio waving his hand in the corner of the bar you just entered. Swiftly you went over to him and greeted him.

“Hey Antonio. I’m surprised you’re still sober. You need a drive home as well?” the muscular man shook his head.

“I’m fine, but thanks for asking. But he needs a ride home.” He pointed out his friend next to him, who had fallen asleep on the table. You sighed and rubbed your tired eyes. Currently it was 1 in the morning and you had been sleeping happily before Antonio had called you up, asking you if you could pick up his drunken friend Kotetsu. You had known the two for quite a while now and were one of the small group of people who knew that both of them were working as heroes in Sternbild. Annoyed you poked Kotetsu in his ribs.

“Wake up old man; it’s time to go home.” The bearded man jolted up from his sleep and looked right into your face.

“(y/n)! Are you here for some beer too?” smiling he raised his empty glass. Seeing him goofing around with flushed cheeks because of all the alcohol he had, you just had to grin. You lightly pushed his hand back down on the table and removed it from the cup.

“No Kotetsu, I’m taking you home now. You had enough to drink today.”

“Awwww come on, one more drink!” Kotetsu was giving you the puppy-eyes as Antonio stepped in.

“Kotetsu no! Even if you say one, it always ends up with more than you actually need.” Antonia grabbed the glass in front of Kotetsu. “Better get him out of here before he starts complaining more. Thanks for your help (y/n).” Antonio got up himself and made his way out of the bar after paying. Sighing you grabbed Kotetsus arm and started to drag him out of the night club. Outside you steered directly to your car that was parked not too far away from the entrance. Not paying much attention to Kotetsus whining behind you, you forcefully shoved him into the passenger seat and got into the car yourself.

“You don’t have to be so forceful on me (y/n)…” unimpressed you looked him.

“Well according to the last times I had to pick you up, yes I have to. When you’re drunk you do the weirdest things Kotetsu. Now put on your seatbelt.” To your surprise he actually did what you said and so you were able to start the car and begin the ride home shortly afterwards.

The first ten minutes of the drive to Kotetsus place was silent in the car. Kotetsu was gazing out of the window and you only yawned from time to time. After a while you noticed Kotetsu staring at you.

“What is it, Tiger.” You had calmed down and started to use the nickname you and the other heros had given him.

“You’re pretty tired aren’t you?”

“Well what do you expect? It’s almost 2 in the morning and Antonio woke me up when he called me to come and pick you up.”

“And you still came to pick me up?” You didn’t take your eyes off the road but could feel Kotetsu watching you, waiting for your answer.

“Well… yeah, since Antonio did say in your “drunk-talk” you wanted no one else to get you home.” From the quick glance at Kotetsu, you saw him frowning a bit.

“I said that?”

“Aparently.”

“…”

After that it was quiet in the car until you arrived at Tigers house. By then he had fallen asleep again.

“Come on Tiger, get up!” Shaking him a bit violently, you tried to get him up. With a big yawn he opened his eyes a bit and looked right at you.

“Are we already there?”

“Yes we are.” You nodded and pulled his arm over your shoulders. “Now move your lazy ass or I’ll make you.”

Without much of his help you managed to get him up the stairs, into his house and laid him down on his couch. Stretching your tired limbs you saw Kotetsu lying on the cushions, his eyes closed. Not wanting to disturb him anymore you turned around to leave the building as you felt something grab your wrist. You let out a small yelp as you crashed onto a small space on the couch. Suddenly, Kotetsu’s strong arms wrapped themselves around your waist and he snuggled into your back.

“Kotetsu, let go of me. Even if you’re drunk you’re far too old to act like this” Your attempts to free yourself were a fail and as you turned to face the male he was grinning with a big smile.

“You actually think I’m totally wasted!” He laughed and pulled you even closer to his body. “I may have had a few drinks too much, but I still can control my actions, and knowing that, I want you to stay with me.” He held you tight against his chest. “I like you (y/n), I like you a lot. I love it when you come to pick me up when I’m drunk. And even if I’m totally wasted and start talking about the weirdest things, you still stay my friend.” You blushed and averted your eyes. While you are trying to process the whole matter, you suddenly notice that Kotetsu had fallen asleep. While he is snoring into your ear, you try to free yourself once again, but without success yet again. In the end you give up and close your eyes. You were dead tired yourself and really needed some sleep. A few minutes later you were breathing lightly next to the hero.

-The next morning-

With a headache Kotetsu woke up as the sun started to crawl through the windows. After rubbing his eyes he noticed he was lying on his couch and not in his bed. And that something, or better someone, was lying next to him. Turning his whole body, he now sees who is lying beside him. You, (y/N).

“JESUS!” out of shock he lets out a scream, jolts up and accidently shoves you of the couch.

“Autch!” pain flows through your body as you hit the floor.

“What in the world was that for Tiger?!”

“Why are you here?” Kotetsu doesn’t even answer your question and bombes you with his own.

“I mean, why were you… sleeping next to me?”

“Well YOU didn’t let go of me last night, after I drove you back home. You were completely drunk.” Rubbing your eyes you get up and stretch your aching muscles.

“Did I say something… strange to you?” Kotetsu averts his eyes and fiddles with the cushion. You were just about to go to the bathroom as he asked his question and pause to think about what you should answer him. in the end you decided to tell him the truth.

“You… you said you liked me.” You couldn’t see Kotetsus face, since your back was facing him. “Did you really mean that or was that just some drunk-tallking?” you turned around and looked at Tiger.

“Well… uhm..” he signed defeated. “Well yes, it is true. I have actually liked you for a while now.”

You blushed and went back to the sofa.

“Well… I don’t know if it is ‘love’ but… I do like you a lot Tiger.” Kotetsus eyes widened in surprise. One second later you were both lying on the floor. Kotetsu had practically tackled you to the ground after your answer, was now laughing happily and hugging you tightly.

“Ahaha if I had known what you would have said, I would have confessed a lot earlier.”

“Kotetsu, let go of me please! I feel like you’re crushing all my bones!”

“Whopsi, sorry (y/N)” He let go of you and you both sat up.

“Dam, Kotetsu, it’s too early to be fooling around like that.” You tried to act serious but just couldn’t help it and smiled. Kotetsu laughed.

“Well there is one more thing I would like to do right now.” Still smiling he looked at you.

“And what would that be?” questioning him you crossed your arms. He on the other hand leaned in closer to you.

“this.” With that he kissed you. He took you by surprise but then melted into the passionate kiss. It wasn’t a long kiss and you parted your lips shortly afterwards. Kotetsu was smiling like a child on Christmas while your face was painted in a crimson red.

“Haha you should see your face (y/n).!”

“S-shut up Kotetsu!” Turning even redder you punched him in the stomach.

“Ahhh… Okay, I deserved that.” And with that you two busted out into laughter.
