as you guys can probably tell by the title, i need some advice.

so my school has a formal (homecoming/prom) coming up and basically everyone in my year level is going. but I'm seriously considering not going.

Here are my reasons:

A) Tables - there are supposed to be 10 people per table. I have friends at school, yes, but I'm not in any group and I don't have like that one good friend. So chances of me being a part of a table or actually being asked to be on someone's table is low. If I go, I'll probably end up on a random table and it'll be awkward for both me and others on the table.

B) Pre's and Post's - so this is basically what people have before and after the actual formal. As I mentioned previously, it's not like I have close friends that'll invite me to one. So what this means is that when everyone will meet up beforehand, I'll have to go straight to formal. I'm not gonna have any group pics because I'm not in a group. Literally today I heard people I'm friends with discussing formal and talking about their pre's and post's and I just felt really left out. It's not even as if we're not decent friends. But I guess they have no obligation, cause who am I to them? I almost cried. But no one notices me anyways, so it's all g.

C) No one is going to miss me - once again, I'm not in a group. No one really cares if I go or not, it won't make that much of a difference to them. I'll probably save money from the tickets.

The only reason I have for going is FOMO, and I always suffer FOMO. Is that really a good enough reason to go? I don't know anymore.

So, I guess help me decide. Sorry for all the negativity, I just needed an outlet.
