Mecha: Hello everyone, about the votation that was made for this book... it was a bit bad. It isn't because you have chosen something that I don't want, it is because there wasn't many people who voted. Some voted for option A, while others voted for option C. I Literally flip a coin to choose between these options and the winner was the C option. But the annoying thing of the day is that wattpad deleted my Wakfu book, I don't know how to fix this but I will try. Since my family moved from Japan to the United States, things did not go very well. The original plan was to move to this country to earn more money. My family and I had problems with debts and we didn't earn enough money for everything we needed in Japan. Things didn't change much once we got here. My father's work didn't earn enough and my mother wasn't in her best conditions to work, she was pregnant. In a short time I would have a new little brother to take care of, my younger sister was so happy when she found out about it. To help my family with their economic problems, I decided to enter the army. I had to use false documentation because although I was allowed to enlist at seventeen, I would not be allowed to participate in missions until I was eighteen. I needed the money and I needed it fast. But I never thought that my third mission would be the last.

A whole hospital had been taken by a terrorist group and they had left a bomb planted on the top floor. Although the lower floors had already been taken and secured by the members of your squad, most of the hostages were located on the roof of the building. The police helicopters in conjunction with the army snipers did what they could to clear the terrorists from the roof and save the hostages, but they would not have enough time to defuse the bomb. The job of your squad was to infiltrate and make your way to the bomb to deactivate it. But after a shootout between terrorists and soldiers, there was no one standing on both sides. Currently the captain of your squad, Chris. He tried to make his best efforts to communicate with someone, some survivor or anyone who can follow his instructions and stop that bomb before it explodes.

Chris: Is there someone there?! Answer, is there someone there?! We need to stop that bomb! Please, is there someone there?!

Silence, nothing more and nothing less than the silence of death. Captain Chris closed his eyes in frustration knowing that even if he could send a new squad, they would never make it in time. But suddenly, the sound of the radio began to sound and the accelerated breathing of a person was heard.

(y/n): *pant* S-Sir! Soldier (y/n)(l/n) reporting for duty!

Chris: (l/n)?! You are alive?! What is your condition?!

(y/n): W-Well, *Pant* I was shot through the vest *Pant* and I'm slowly crawling to the bomb. But I think I can do it.

Chris: Don't worry boy, I'll have a medical team come up right now!

(y/n): R-Roger!

You crawled slowly towards the Bomb while leaving a trail of blood on the floor. The pain was unbearable but you had to endure it no matter what, you couldn't afford to faint now. Once you got to the bomb, you tear up the control panel and saw two wires. Both were of the same reddish color.

(y/n): Shit!

You took out your military knife and you held both of the wires. Then, you used your knife to cut both of the wires and you satisfactorily saw how the countdown of the bomb stopped in the thirty seconds. You held the radio in your hand and turned it on to inform Chris that the mission was a success.

(y/n): C-Captain, the bomb was deactivated! Mission comple-

*BANG*

The sound of a gun was heard in the same room where you were and after a few seconds you felt a sharp pain in your back. Then, you felt a hand on your shoulder that forced you to turn on your back and saw the person who had shot you. He was one of the rooftop terrorists who had managed to escape.

Terrorist: Damn brat! You ruined everything!

*Bang**Bang**Bang*

The terrorist was shooting you with his gun without stopping. You no longer felt pain and the world slowly faded more and more from your eyes. The sound of the weapon that was killing you was gone. The last thing you saw before the darkness consumed you was the terrorist's face being pierced by a bullet.

(your POV)

Darkness. Darkness and nothing but darkness. I could still feel my body but I could not move it or see myself. It is a strange feeling, like when you're asleep and you feel like you're falling. Is this being dead? To be in an eternal dark void just thinking about what you did in life. Or am I in a coma? Which would explain why I can still feel my body. How long will I be here? My questions stopped when I could see a light in front of me. When I realized, I Was sitting in what looked like a dark room with two chairs and a throne.  In the chair next to me, there was a guy who looked about my age. He had brown hair and wore a tracksuit. Remembering what had happened to me, I quickly examined my body for some type of bullet wound or whatever. I still had my army uniform but I didn't have any scratches on me.

Guy: Who are you?

Me: My name is (y/n) (l/n), do you have any idea where we are?

Kazuma: My name is Satou Kazuma, and I was hoping I could ask you the same.

???: Welcome to the afterlife.

Kazuma and I looked at who was behind our chairs and there was a girl with beautiful blue hair like the sea walking towards us.

???: Unfortunately, the both of you passed away moments ago.

The blue haired girl sat on the little throne and continued explaining the situation.

???: The life of you two was a short one, but you two are, in fact, dead.

Me: Yeah... I think it would be hard for me to believe that I survived eighteen bullets on my chest. Wait, what happened with my squad?! And the hostages?! 

The blue haired girl showed me a monitor in which she showed me the building that had been attacked by terrorists and I could see the medical team attending the hostages. 

???: Thanks to your heroic actions, most of the hostages left the building with minor injuries. Unfortunately, your whole squad died a little before you. But it's your family who is going through the worst.

The monitor changed the image, showing my family crying at the news of my death. My little sister Lucy was crying her eyes out while my father tried to calm her down. My mother simply held her head, wishing that this was a nightmare and that it wasn't true.

???: The government learned of your false documentation and assumed that it was their fault for not noticing it before, so they gave a very large sum of money to your family in compensation.

Me: He... at least... they will have an easier life thanks to me. I guess I can rest in peace, huh?

???: Feel proud, you died like a true hero.

Kazuma: Just one question... What about the girl I pushed out of harm's way?

Me(mind): So, Kazuma sacrificed his life for others too?

???: She is alive.

Kazuma: Thank goodness.

Kazuma had a look of satisfaction on his face, as if he had finally managed to do something with his life.

???: Actually, she wouldn't have gotten hurt, even if you hadn't pushed her out of the way. 

Me/Kazuma: Huh?

The blue haired girl began to explain how the truck had never run over the girl Kazuma saved, in fact, the truck didn't hit Kazuma either. Kazuma simply died by the shock when he saw the truck that he thought would pass over and crush him. The blue haired girl couldn't contain her laugh, while I did what I could to not laugh at how Kazuma died. I know it was funny, but his intentions were good. Then, the girl showed an image of Kazuma's corpse that had pee his pants for the shock and it was more harder for my to hold my laugh.

Aqua: My name is Aqua. I'm a goddess who guides humans who die young to the afterlife. You two have two choices.

Me: And those are?

Aqua: You can start from square one with a new life, or you can go to heaven and carry on like an old man. To tell you the truth, heaven isn't the draemy place you all imagine it to be.

Kazuma: Huh?

Aqua: Not only there is no TV, there are no manga or games, either. You don't even have a physical body, so you can't do anything sexual, either.

Me: No mangas?!

Kazuma: Is that what you're worried about?!

Aqua: There is nothing to do there but bask in the sun for all eternity. 

I guess neither of the two options is necessarily bad. If I reincarnate as a baby, I could have a new life and a new fres start. Although going to heaven sounds a bit boring, I'm not old enough to be a veteran and I don't want to stay in a cloud for the rest of eternity

Aqua: But, I have a great offer for you two! You guys like games, don't you? 

Me: Yep.

Aqua explained to us how there was an alternate world similar to videogames. That world, was constantly attacked by the forces of a monster that is proclaimed the demon king. It is a dangerous world full of monsters and dangers, which meant that few people want to reincarnate in that place and the population was declining. Aqua also told us that in order not to send us to that world with empty hands, she would grant us a unique weapon or talent of our choice with which we can use on our favor in that world. 

Aqua: Now chose! I'll grant you one power that is second to none!

Aqua gave Kazuma and me a section of magazines, in which each one showed a different kind of weapon or skill than the other. I calmly read each of them and none of them caught my attention, probably because all the items were legendary weapons or things like that. I remember that in Japan my father tried to teach me how to use a sword... And I suck on it! I do not want to take a weapon that I can not use. I'm very good at martial arts, but how can I apply that in that world? Suddenly, I came up with an incredible idea.

Me: Hey Aqua, can I ask you something?

Aqua: For you cutie, you have my full attention~

Me: T-Thanks. You say that we could choose between any type of weapon or ability, right? That includes anime skills?

Aqua: Yes, do you have something in mind?

Me: I would like to be able to use the Haki!

Aqua: Is that what you want?

Me: Yes!

Aqua: Okay, just step into the circle and wait for him.

While Kazuma was still choosing, Aqua sat back on her throne while waiting for him to finish. She started eating some chips while she kept waiting for Kazuma to decide. Now I would have liked to wait outside the circle. Aqua started telling Kazuma that no matter what he chose, no one expected an otaku to achieve much. This only provoked Kazuma and he pointed his index finger towards Aqua.

Kazuma: I pick you.

Aqua: Okay, stand there and don't leave the magic circle- What did you just say?

Me: Oh-Oh.

An angel came out of nowhere and she was surrounded by a warm and bright light.

Angel: We have your request. I shall take over your job from here on out, Aqua-sama.

The same magic circle that covered me and Kazuma appeared around Aqua and made the three of us levitate. The angel explained to Aqua that once the demon king is defeated, she could return to this place. Kazuma simply took revenge on Aqua while making fun of her saying that she would make life easier for him in the other world. That was a bit cruel on Kazuma's part and I just hope Aqua doesn't kill him within three seconds of appearing in the new world. The last thing I got to hear from the angel is that one who defeats the demon king will have a wish as a gift from the gods. 

(In the new world)

The three of us appeared in the middle of a town. Everything was so green and colorful, the air felt so pure, it was like going back to the medieval era. Aqua started crying for what had just happened to her and I gently stroked her back, in an attempt to calm the poor goddess. 

Kazuma: Isn't there something you're supposed to gave to us? Look at what I am wearing. I'm in a tracksuit.

Me: Dude, you just drag this poor girl from her home to this world against her will, And all you care about is what you are going to wear? You are a selfish- 

Before I could finish what I was going to say, Aqua jumped into Kazuma and began to strangle him with both of her hands. I covered my face with one of my hands while I just kept thinking about what kind of mess I just put myself into.
