???: How much longer are we gonna be on the run?

???: Didn't you hear me before?

???: Before what?

???: They arrested Kazuma but the rest of us were pretty much let go.

???: Why didn't you say that long ago?! We've been walking for like forever!

???: I thought you were finally exercising.

A lad stopped abruptly in the middle of a forest. As he stated, he had been walking for quite a while since the end of the... "Season" thing. To any normal person, it would appear the lad was arguing with himself and was quite insane, though to a select few, this is (Y/n) and he is only slightly crazy.

(Y/n): Well what do we do now? It's freezing out here...

(Y/n)'s Brain: I would say our best bet is to make a fire and camp for the night. We can continue the plot in the morning.

(Y/n): With what camping gear? I didn't get the chance to pack for this!

(Y/n)'s Brain: Let's... just figure out as we go then.

You proceeded to search for dryish sticks and limbs to get something of a fire started. Can't have you freezing to death! After a bit of searching, you found a few suitable sticks, enough to get something going. After trying (and failing) many times to spark a flame, you finally struck gold, or sparks in this case as the bits of branch began to spoke before the tiniest of flames started. You felt... pride! You were surviving at least a little bit. As the sunset beyond the horizon and night began to overtake the land. You dug in for your first time camping ever. Without food, water, a tent, supplies, this was gonna be great! As you basked in the warmth of your first fire. A single snowflake began to fall from the heavens. You looked up at the darkened sky to see a brilliant light show being put on by the stars. Millions of stars lit up the sky and from them descended snowflakes to blanket the ground and unfortunately you. There was a serene feeling to this moment though being surrounded by darkness... in the middle of the woods... with no way to contact your friends.... made it a bit scary. 

(Y/n)'s Brain: What was that?

(Y/n): Huh? What was what?

(Y/n)'s Brain: I heard something.

(Y/n): Now how does that work? How can my brain hear something but I can't?

(Y/n)'s Brain: Just hush and listen.

You decided to listen to your brain and listened in. Just beyond the crackle of the fire, you could hear something approaching. Maybe it was a woodland critter? It was too small to be one of those giant frogs but it was reasonable it could an undead. 

???: H-Hello?

Now that threw you off. A soft female voice came from just behind the ring of orange light provided by the fire. Wiz had been undead, but to say that would be disrespectful to her beauty and kindness.

(Y/n)'s Brain: Say hello back.

(Y/n): What? Why?

(Y/n)'s Brain: I can sense plot progression approaching.

(Y/n): Uh... alright... H-Hello?

(Y/n)'s Brain: Why do you sound as scared as the voice?

(Y/n): Because I'm terrified!

???: Ah I'm sorry If I scared you!

The voice quickly responded to what you said to your brain. The footsteps moved closer till you could see a figure in the light. A cute young girl stood before with bright crimson eyes that really reminded you of Megumin's. Her brown was about mid-length and ended in Twin-tails that rested upon the left and right shoulders respectively.  She wore a pink mink skirt and a lowcut blouse that showed off the assets that made her different from Megumin in that regard. 

???: I heard talking and followed it a-and it led me to your camp. I'm sorry to intrude!

(Y/n): Ah n-no! You're not intruding. A-And it wasn't really anything important-

???: So you talk to yourself too?

(Y/n): H-Huh?

???: I talk to myself a bit too... since I don't really have many friends.

(Y/n): Oh... I guess I do talk to myself a bit... w-would you like to join me?

???: Huh?

(Y/n): Well I mean its a bit lonely out here and... I wouldn't feel right if I just let a cute girl go off on her own in the snow...

(Y/n)'s Brain: Still the same shy boy I see. Or do you have a little crush~?

(Y/n): Hush you!

You angrily whispered to yourself as your (E/c) eyes raised to meet the crimson ones of the girl. Be it from the cold or your nice gesture or maybe the cute girl comment, but the girl's cheeks held a slightly pink color to them as she smiled and took a seat opposite of you.

???: Thank you.

(Y/N-: Y-Yeah no problem!

The girl looked off to the side as you rubbed the back of your neck. Congratulations hotshot, you got the girl to sit with you and it's already awkward.

(Y/n): My name is (Y/n), what's yours? I-If I may ask of course!

Yunyun: Oh it's perfectly ok, my name is Yunyun!

Yunyun, as she was called, seemed to recoil lightly for what reason you didn't know.

(Y/n): What's wrong?

Yunyun: H-Huh? You're not laughing at my name?

(Y/n): No, why would I? 

Yunyun: Most people think my name is weird...

(Y/n): Well I'm not most people! I've known a lot of people with weird names!

Yunyun: R-Really?!

(Y/n): Yeah! I myself was once called Finland!

Yunyun giggled a bit and brought her gaze back up with a soft smile. Then silence filled in once again as there appeared to be no topics you or she really shared in common. Then your brain gave you an idea, you know like it's supposed to.

(Y/n): Um... do you mind if I move closer?

Yunyun: O-Oh... sure.

She replied rather quickly and you scooted through the thin sheet of snow that had piled to sit next to the girl. It must have been painful sitting in the snow while wearing a rather light outfit and the miniskirt certainly didn't help her keep warm. At least you outfit had layers and a scarf... a scarf... Another idea! You reached up and pulled the scarf free, turning to Yunyun, you carefully wrapped it around her neck and shoulders. You did your best to do it slowly and calmly as the girl seemed rather shy and skittish at least right now. Yunyun's face warmed up once again as your faces were mere inches apart. You could even feel the warmth of Yunyun's warm breaths as you wrapped the scarf around her.

(Y/n): There! I know it's not much but it should help a bit.

Yunyun: T-Thank you. You're really kind. You're really f-friendly.

(Y/n): Well I just want to make sure you're warm. If that means being friendly then I'm ok with it. We can even be friends if you want!

You spoke these words not evening realizing how much of an impact they would have on Yunyun. A friend... you would be her friend? Yunyun grew a big smile but hid it in the scarf simply nodding to your statement as you returned the smile. Sometime during your conversations, your head would rest upon Yunyun's shoulder as you drifted off. IT's almost like someone or something had planned that.

(Y/n)'s Brain: *Finger guns*

*Sometime much later*

Yunyun continued to amaze you. As a fellow Arch Wizard, her skills were leagues above yours and maybe even Megumin's! You just watched her use beams of light to destroy those stupid frogs. As you walked over to join Yunyun, you heard her shouting at someone, something that surprised you in the short time you had known the girl.

Yunyun: I-I... spent the night with a boy!

???: Huh?! 

???: W-Wait a sec how old are you?

A male and female voice talked at Yunyun, and they sounded really familiar for some reason...

Yunyun: H-Here he comes now!

(Y/n): What did I miss?

You walked up to Yunyun and stood beside her, trying to figure out what she was arguing about only to be surprised. Before you stood Kazuma and Megumin. Megumin was covered in froggy slime as well as behind her was Aqua and some professional-looking lady covered in the substance too.

Megumin: (Y/n)?! You cheater! You know her?!

Yunyun: (Y/n)? You know my rival?

Kazuma: You slept with her?!

Aqua in the distance: HE DID WHAT?!!!

(Y/n): Wait what?!
