*Cross Living Room*
[ Third Person POV]
We see a young man in his twenties binging on Netflix series watching f/s in the living room until he was slapped in the back.
Charlie: " Yeah go get her tiger." He said to nobody. Until dude was slapped on the back. Hard.
He looked around and saw his Susan, his sister, standing behind with a smirk.
[Charlie's POV]
Charlie: " Fuck is your problem Su....?" He exclaimed while holding his red spot.
Susan:

Susan : " Bro. You promised me that you will take me the consert tonight. It's 6 p.m. . Put your jacket and let's go already." She said with her arms looked on her chest.
Charlie: " I'll get the car keys. Tell mom we're off, ok?"
Susan: " She knows. Now, be here in five."
Charlie got off his ass and put his jacket, picked the car keys and head the car with his sis.

[ Charlie's POV]
We stopped Infront of a street light as it had red signal. After the concert ended, it was midnight and so they're no more than two cars on the roads. It was Christmas Eve time so the roads were coated with snow. Me and Susan was talking about the band when out of nowhere I saw a truck skiddled on a sheet of ice and assuming it was on full speed, couldn't break and rolled towards our car, ramming us in the process. The moment the truck rammed us is the moment I blacked out.
[ Aqua's POV] *Aqua's Void*
My name's Aqua. Apparently as you can see, I'm the Goddess of Water. I have the most boring job one could ever imagine. Ever since God made Earth, He created me and my fellow comrades and tasked us with controlling various elements he created. Water. That's me. Fire. That's Flame. Earth. That's Soil. Air. That's Wind.
I've been sitting here for centuries hoping to get out of here and live a normal life like humans. Everything is just handed to you here, and believe me when I say this, it's boring. Life here is boring. I'm worshipped by the craziest cult you could ever imagine, it's the Axis Sect in a different universe. I tried improving them by guiding them so far only to fail. They hate the Eris church for stupid reasons.
But on this day something was about to change.
I was eating chips when suddenly a boy appeared infront of me. Facing me was the chair he sat on. You may ask why he's here, so here's the answer. I reincarnate/ send them to heaven or hell. He died and it was now my time to interact with the boy. Aqua:

[ Charlie's POV]
Instantly I opened my eyes and I couldn't believe my own eyes. They showed me that I was sitting on a... chair? I looked around and I first discovered that I was in a dark room. Maybe void? Am I dead? No it..it can't be? What about my life? Family? I lost them? Just like that? Then I caught another sight, Infront of me, sat a girl who looked like in her mid twenties. Maybe she's 22 or 24...? She spoke up which caught me by surprise.
Aqua : "Charles Cross,nice to meet you. I'm Aqua, Goddess of Water.
Charlie: "Pleasures all mine. Since I've no idea where am I? Could you enlighten me? Wait, am I really dead?"
Aqua : " Don't sweat it. You're now in the afterlife. It's a path between heaven and hell."
Charlie: "So am I going to heaven or hell?"
Aqua : "No. We weighed your deeds and lucky you, you've been chosen to be sent to heaven. Your sins are... comparitively less. Of course, that is up to you because you've two more options."
Charlie: " Before we go there, can I ask you what happened to my family?"
Aqua: "They're not taking it very well as you can see. Your sister, Susan, is now in coma. Your mother, Ashley, is devastated."
Charlie: "What about my father?"
Aqua: " What do you think?"
Charlie: " He's sad and planning to take revenge?"
Aqua : "It appears so. Here. Let me show you."
She turns on a projectile which shows my sister in coma, mom is curled up in her room, looking at my pictures with tears streaming down her eyes. Later, scene changes to a man in a messy business suit beating up and interrogating people in an alleyway with..my baseball bat? Hmmm, I think my father, who's name is Kane, is out for vengeance.

Aqua : "Kane is devastated to lose his son,you, and seeing his princess on life line support. He lost his mind
and won't rest until he snapped your killer's neck by his own hands. Talk about a father's love."
Charlie : "Wait. You're telling me that it was all planned and not a accident?"
Aqua: "Yes."
Charlie: "If you don't mind, can you tell me why they tried to kill us and the name of our so called killer?"
Aqua : "Jacob Schwartz. Your father's best friend. He killed you because he wanted your family to experience the same as he had."
Charlie : " Uncle....you know what scratch that. Tell me about the two options."
Aqua : " Moving on. Option two is reincarnation. You'll go back to Earth with no memories and live a new life. Third opinion is to get sent to a new world where it is ruled by a tyrant who calls himself the Devil King and many lives are at stake there. They die from there and is afraid of being reincarnated back. So far, our counsel decided that we send people from other worlds into the early mentioned world. Sound cool?"
Charlie: "I don't wanna study again. So I'll go with the third one. By the way, what about their language?"
Aqua picks a book from her desk and walks up to me showing the book.
Aqua : "Don't worry, that language will be installed in your brain the instant you go there. Now..
She walks back and spins around dropping cards with various weapons or magic spells.
CHOOSE!"
She returned to her seat and I inspected the cards and nothing useful comes to my mind. I look back Aqua.
Aqua: "Not finding anything useful I see. Don't worry, take your time or.....
She walks back to me and leans to my ear and says...
choose me as your weapon cause I am tired of doing this Goddess job for centuries."
She whispered the last part to me for some reason.
Charlie : " Then I choose....*points his pointing finger at Aqua* YOU!"
Aqua (Happy): " Thanks to you, now can live like a human. Big thanks from me. I don't have to look out for my stupid cult anymore.
Then angel girl appears from under a bright light.
Angel : "Your request has been heard. I shall tend to your duties from now on.
Aqua : (Peace at last....)
A magic circle appears under Aqua next.
Angel: "Charles Cross' wish complies with the regulations and has been accepted.
The circles starts to glow and encase around the two.(Charlie and Aqua)
Have a safe journey."
They both begin to levitate.
Aqua screams in excitement.
Aqua : "Hell yeah! Out of prison and my adventure begins! Not being a Goddess feels like a blast!"
Charlie : "Someone's happy." Charlie exclaimed.
Angel : "I wish you luck, and I pray that of many candidates that have been sent. You shall be the hero that defeat the Devil King. If you can save that world from his evil,the gods will grant any wish your heart desires!
Charlie: "Whoa seriously!?"

Aqua: "Hehe! I used to say that!"

Angel: "Now then begin your journey!"
Aqua and Charlie disappear into a bright light and then the light.
Konosuba Intro:

[Aqua's POV]
Me and Charlie were standing there, facing the street as many people who seemed like medivial Europe if you ask me with magics and such. Kinda like a MMORG game so to say. Anyway, I clenched my fist in air and said out loud...
Aqua : "Goodbye hell and welcome my new life!"
Charlie : "Uh Aqua, I'm not the expert here so can you explain how this place works?"
Aqua : "MMORPG, short for Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game. This world's exactly like that. This is where you start from zero and reach hundred. You register yourself at a guild and they give you an adventurer's card. You gain experience points as you level up, boost your new skills when you unlock them first of course. Nothing's easy and that's what makes it fun. You make a team and face the big man himself in the end and voilà, you're now a legend."
Charlie : "Ok now that's outta the way, where's the guild?"
Aqua : "I know the way. Follow me."
*The guild*
[Charlie's POV]

A/N : Replace Kazuma with Charlie/ Y/N. Also, Aqua in my story has average intelligent and luck, pretty much all her stats are average.
Aqua : "Ready? Cause sure as hell I am."
Charlie : "Yeah. Let's go. Lead the way."
We open both of the doors and walk inside and there's a smiling waitress carrying four tankards of ale.
Waitress:

Waitress : " Welcome! If you're here to eat, please take any open seat. And if looking for work head on over to the counter!"
Charlie: "Cool! Thanks a lot!"
We start looking around when a man in with a Mohawk calls out to us. We approach the man and Aqua decides that she'll handle the situation.
Mohawk : "I never seen you before. Ya'll got some weird ass clothes going on over there."

Aqua: "Yeah well, we just rolled into town buddy. Been on the road a minute, ya know would I mean....Truth is, I heard ya'll could use our help fighting the Devil King."

Mohawk: "If dyings what you want. Dyings what you'll get....WELCOME TO GATES OF HELL! Guild admission desk is over there tough guy."
We walked up to a very well endowed clerk at the admissions desk.
Clerk :

Clerk: "Hi, how can I help you three today?"

Charlie: "We came to register as adventures."

Clerk: I can help with that. Just pay the registration fee and I can get your paper."
Charlie: "Awesome...Wait there's a registration fee? You got any money on you?"
Aqua : "Sure do. How much do you need miss..?
Luna: "Luna. It's per thousand Eris."
Aqua: " Here you go."
Luna: "Perfect!"

Luna takes the money and sets up a machine with a spherical blue crystal in the center.

Luna: "Allow me to explain how all this works. Adventurer is a generic class and your skills are important. Which brings us to your registration card. It keep tracks of your levels based on all the monsters you've killed. When your level increases you'll earn points can trade in to learn new skills. Work hard and you'll raise your level in no time. Onto the next step, would you please hold your hand over the crystal sir."

Charlie walks up to the crystal and places his hand over it.

Charlie: "Okay, here goes."

The crystal glows, the mechanisms start to turn, and Charlie is excited with anticipation.

Luna: "Once it's finished the evaluation process you'll get your current stats. Based on those we'll which class suits you best."

Charlie: (Sweet! I get to find out what all my latent abilities are! Everyone in the Guild is going to freak out how rad I am!)

The machine finishes imprint, Charlie's stats and the Clerk picks it up.

Luna: "Charles Cross, interesting name....Ah, here we are, Max across the board! Wow! Your intelligence is very high and that's very good. Oh wow your luck, agility, speed is out maximum! With this much stats I'd recommend you be a Advance Adventurer instead or something like that!"
After Luna said that out loud, the whole guild crowded us with excitement. My smile grew just by looking at that.
Aqua pats my right shoulder and says...
Aqua : "Congrats dude!"
Charlie : "Gee, thanks.."
A/N : For Random Adventurer, let's use RA for short.
RA1: "Way to go Charles Cross!"
RA2: "Cross, join my party please!"
RA3: "Charles Cross sure will bring that motherfucker on his knees!"
RA4 : "No way he's gonna join your lame ass party, he'll join mine. Right Charles?!"
Seeing how her friend was getting nervous by the pressure of the crowd which ticked her off, Aqua came to Charlie's aid and said...
Aqua : "Guess what?! My friend ain't joining none of your parties so fuck off!" She showed her middle finger to the crowd as they gasped in her comeback.
Luna gave Charlie his card.
Luna : "Next?"
Aqua : "That would be me." She makes her way to the crystal and places her hand on top of it just like Charlie.
Luna: "WHOA!! Your intelligence is average! And your luck is the most average I've ever seen! But even so the rest of your stats are unbelievably high!"
Aqua : "Does that mean I'm unbelievably amazing?!"
Luna : "Amazing would be an understatement! The Mage class requires high intelligence so that's out of the question. But other than that you can be anything you want! Crusader, Sword Master, Arch Priest they're all advanced classes and you can pick anyone of them!"

Aqua: "I shall settle for being an Arch Priest who heals her allies! What do you think, Charlie?"
Charlie : "I think that's a great idea."
Luna: "I think that is a wonderful choice! It's a very versatile class with all types of healing and support spells and one that's strong enough to stands fearlessly on the front-lines!"

I look around us and notice there's the same crowd gathering behind us, most of them looking at Aqua and me.

Male Adventurer: "Can't believe it, an Arch Priest!"
Suddenly the hall erupts in cheers and applause at us arrival and I'm guessing Aqua's quite flattered about the whole thing. More of the guild staff and members start to gather. And she just rubs the back of her head.
Luna: "I welcome to our Adventurers Guild! Lady Aqua and Mister Cross! Best of luck to you! We look forward to your exploits!"

Short Haired Waitress: "I've never heard of anyone starting as an Arch Priest or an Advanced Adventurer before!"

Mohawk: "Hard-asses like you! We have a shot at beating the Devil King!"
Aqua happily grabs Charlie's arm and he just blush even harder.
Aqua: "Charlie, today we start a life of adventuring!....Aww you're blushing. That's so cute!"
Charlie : "I guess we are. Let go now. You're embarrassing me."
Aqua lets go of his hand
Aqua : "Heh. Let's go and find a inn for now."
They left the guild waving their hands at everyone.
*Boston Inn*
[Aqua's POV]
Ahh, finally... Me and Charlie arrived at a cheap inn.We went in and I spoke to the receptionist. If you're wondering how much eris I've left, let's say 28,000 because I spent 2000 on the registration.
Receptionist: " Good evening, sir and miss.How may I help you today?"
Aqua: "By renting us rooms for a couple of weeks, if you can."
Receptionist: " We have two spare rooms. Sir, here's your room. Room 2B. He hands Charlie the key.
Charlie: "Thanks man. We'll talk in the morning,ok? Night Aqua." With that, he left.
Receptionist: "And here's your key miss. Room 2D. The rent is per thousand Eris a week. Write your names here please."
Aqua: "Keep the change dude." I wrote our names and left for the night now.
Morning.....
*Boston Inn/Charlie's room*
[Charlie's POV]
The morning came, birds were chirping, weather was beautiful and so was the sky. I woke up, got dressed and headed for the stairs where bumped into Aqua.
Aqua : Hey watch it you fu-*looks back and see Charlie* "oh it's you? Good morning."
We walk down the stairs as I replied...
Charlie: "Good morning. Say, I was thinking of working at a job. I mean we both do. Given our funds and such."
Aqua : "Let's work at a construction site."
Charlie : "Time's money. After breakfast, let's go and get signed up."
Aqua: "Yeah, let's do that."
And we later singed up for the job and guess what...it was exhausting. But the payment was enough to survive for a two days so you ain't hearing me complaining. I used to carry loads since I had a little bit of muscles and Aqua.. that girl had talents. She enjoyed working there as her main job was to paint let's say... Trump's wall. Yeah that's it. That's one way to describe her work. Then we would drink your sorrows of stress like there's no tomorrow.l Sometimes Aqua get drunk and she does... believe me when I'm gonna say that I have to drag to an alleyway so that she could puke.. rainbows? The hell? Perks of being a former Goddess? Meh.. I'll ask her when she's sobar.
Back to present time and three weeks later...

*Boston Inn, Charlie's room*
[Aqua's POV]
I knock on Charlie's door one morning.
KNOCK KNOCK
Charlie (sleepy): "Who.. who's there?
Aqua: "The cops."
Charlie: Yawns "How many of you are there?"
Aqua : "Four."
Charlie: "Why are you here?" He said as he got up from his bed and silently went to the drawers to change.
Aqua : "To talk."
Charlie : " Then talk to each other."
Aqua : "Dude.Not cool."
Then Charlie opens the door and waves his hand.
Charlie : "What's up?"
Aqua : "I've been thinking stuff.
Charlie : "How to get a boyfriend?"
Aqua : "No asshole. About taking a quest. After all, it's the only way we'll be legends. Our names will go down in history."
Charlie : "Then what are we waiting for? Let's go."
Charlie and Aqua talked as they walked through the guild door.
Aqua : "Ready dude?"
Charlie : "Fuckin' A. Let's go!"
