[ Third Person POV]
The scene takes place in an open field where both Aqua and Charlie are getting chased by a gaint toad.

KILL QUEST: DEFEAT 5 "GIANT TOADS" IN 3 DAYS
[ Charlie's POV]
Charlie (monologing):These giant toads though... They're definitely not like the small fry I've been practicing on. Apparently, they like to show up where there's a lot of prey during mating season. So to build up strength and lay eggs, they eat up things like the goats from farmers. That doesn't sound bad on its own, but the kids and farmers themselves tend to go missing every year. Though, the meat is pretty wanted as an ingredient. which reminds me... Let me tell you how to this begun.
Flashback
We were looking at the quest bulletin board.
I decide to take a certain quest.
Charlie :"How about a gaint toad killing quest?"
Aqua : "Won't be hard I guess. So why not?"
Charlie : "Cool! I'll take this to Luna. Then we'll head for the blacksmith shop."
Aqua : "Ok."
I did what what I said and then we went to the blacksmith shop.
*Friendly Fire, a blacksmith shop*
Aqua : " 'Friendly Fire'? Now that's a neat name."
Charlie : Opens the door. "You coming or what?"
Aqua : "Right behind you."
We went in and I spoke to the dealer.
Dealer : "Good morning sir, how may I help you? Welcome to Friendly Fire!"
Charlie : "Can you show us cheap swords or staff like that?"
Then what? We bought what we liked. We had 28000 Eris.
My sword : 6000 Eris

Meaning, we're left with 22000 Eris for now.
Aqua's staff: 10000 Eris

All we had now is 12000 Eris
Present

I kept running until I heard a 'chomp' from behind. I stopped in my tracks and looked behind and saw...this.
Aqua has been sticking in and out of the toad's screaming 'Help me Charlie!' everytime she got the chance to pop out of it's mouth. I then figured out that in order to take them out, you need to plant a bait. See what I did? I ran towards the toad, jumped high, lucky for me the blade was sharp enough to slash a toad in one go. After that, Aqua came out of it's mouth with a disgusted face.
Aqua : "Ugh...I stink! Listen Charlie, I'm gonna hit the bathhouse, so why don't you go there and confirm the quest's been done to Luna, yeah?
Charlie: "No trouble."

[Third Person POV]
We see our toad slashers having toad for dinner as they talk about their quest.
[Aqua's POV]
Aqua : "WHAT? I'M GONNA HAVE TO BE THE BAIT?!!"
Charlie : "I don't see any other way. Besides, it paid off see?"
Aqua : "Each toad slashing reward is per five thousand right? So if we divide that in half,we get... 2500 each. Here. Keep the half."
I gave Charlie half the take.
Aqua : " Bummer. That's not even a decent amount to live. Tastes the toad's meat and had a sip of her beer. "That hit the spot. I was thinking of recruiting allies in our party, the more the help the merrier."
Charlie : "I don't know but I guess we can do that for now."
Aqua : "I'll take care of the work. Charlie, you might wanna take a rest."
Charlie : "Let's go."
They got up and left the guild.
Next day
[ Charlie's POV]
Me and Aqua set up that poster and has been sitting ducks here for what seems to be like hours.
Aqua : "Patience is a virtue, Charlie. Wait for them." She drinks a glass of water.
Charlie : "I guess. Oh, by the way, your drawing's pretty smooth." He said with his arms crossed on his chest.
Aqua : "Gee...I wonder why. Guess I was made talented."
[ Third Person POV]
Outside of Axel's guild, we see a young girl about 13-14 year with black hair and a red eye, with an eye-patch covering her left eye, walking towards the guild.
[Megumin's POV] *Narrating on her head*
The name's Megumin. Arch-mage of Crimson Demon village and she who shall master Explosion magic. Well I am on my way to find a recruitment poster for joining a new party. Oh look I'm here. Better go in. Opens the doors. Stomach growls. Shit.... haven't eaten in three days... Let's see...a bulletin board. Let's see if they are hiring any new party members.
Lucky for me, I found one. I'm guessing whoever drew this is must be around here. I look at the pictures of the recruiters and then at the guild's people. After aimlessly looking around, I found them. A young man who appeared to be in his early twenties followed by the girl who's attire is all blue that's sitting opposite of him. I approached to these two.
Megumin:

??: "A little girl's coming, Charlie. Behind you."
Then the man, Charlie, looks at my direction and waves his hand.
Charlie : "Charles Cross. How do you do?"
I then strike a pose and start to speak.
Megumin : "HM. For us to meet is a fate chosen by this world. At last, my quest for suitable companions to quest with has come to an end."

I flick my right hand over as far as I can reach and then pose.
Megumin: "My Name is Megumin! I am an Arch-Wizard who wields Explosion! The most powerful! Most Feared! Most Deadly spell among the land!!!
*silence*

Charlie: "For real!?!"

Megumin: "Doth thou desire to align yourself with a power so fearsome, it's user has been shunned?"

Aqua: "Huh?"

Megumin:" If so, show me thy resolve and stare into the ultimate abyss with me. But take heed, for if thous does stare into the abyss, the then abyss shout also stare in thee.

*moment of silence*

Charlie: "Are you pulling my leg or something?"

Megumin: "N-No of course not!"
??: "Hi, nice to meet you, Megumin. I'm Aqua. *notices my eye* Your eye is red. Are you a crimson demon?"
Megumin: "Indeed! I am Megumin the greatest wizard in the Crimson Demons! My lethal powers can demolish the tallest mountains! Smash...the hardest....stone...."
I couldn't even finish my sentence before I fell down but luckily Charles caught me.
Charlie : "Damn kid. You okay?"
Megumin : "I haven't had a thing to eat in three whole days....I'd appreciate it if you could spare some food...."
Charlie : "Sure! My treat! Order up, Meg. Call me Charlie by the way."
Aqua: What's with the eye patch? Cause I mean I can heal you. Healing magic is one of my skills."
Megumin: "This is no eye patch but a magic item that suppresses my powers! I dare not ever remove it. For if I did a great catastrophe would befall this world!"
Charlie: "You're kidding?! So it's like a seal?!"

Megumin: "No it's just an eye patch. I uh....wear it cause it looks neat."

Charlie pulls on my eye patch for screwing around.

Megumin: "I'M SORRY! I'M SORRY! DON'T PULL ON IT! NO STOP YOU'LL BREAK IT!"
Charlie lets go and it smacks me right in my eye as I screamed in pain.

Megumin: "AHH! My poor eye!"
Aqua: Hang on, children of the Crimson Demon Clan are born with high intelligence and magical powers. "They're supposed to expert spell casters and they all have weird names like her."

Charlie: "She's for real, sorry about that but I thought you were messing around with us. What with your weird talk and your weird name. Go figure."
Megumin: "Will you stop making fun of my name! To me everyone here has a weird name! But where I come from mine is totally!"
Aqua:"By the way what are your mom and dad called?"
I turn back and do more poses. Why? Cause that's the way we roll!

Megumin: "My mother is Yuiyui and my father is Hyoizaburo!"
Charlie:".....Ah as long as she can do magic like you mentioned, Aqua."
Aqua : "Let's take her."

Megumin: "Alright that does it! And if you make fun of my parent's names I'll make you regret it!"

Charlie: "Settle down we didn't mean nothing by it. You still hungry?"

Megumin: Stomach growls........"Yes".
Charlie: "Okay sit down... waitress!"

Waitress: Yeah?
Charlie: "Could bring the Lunch Special and water for this one? Points at me. And tankard of cider for us two Points at Aqua. please."

Waitress: "Comin' right up!"

Charlie: "Could we see your Adventurer's card Megumin?"

Megumin: "Sure......"
I puts my card on the table so they can review my stats. Then I lay my head on the table stomach grumbling.

Aqua: "You know how you can't forge an Adventurer's card. Well according to hers she's definitely an Arch Wizard. This girl is capable of powerful offensive magic!"

Charlie: "Meg's stats seem pretty high. Like super high!"
Aqua: I know! It's a big deal if she can conjure Explosion magic like she says! Why that's the most powerful most advance magical attack!

Megumin: "Listen Aqua, I don't go by "she" or "this girl." I have a name so please use it. *stomach growl* Where's my food?"

The waitress shows up to our table carrying a tray with food and drinks.
Waitress: "Here you go, one Lunch Special and water for you. And a cider for you mister."

Charlie: "Wait miss."
Waitress : "Need anything else sir?"
Charlie : "My name's Charles Cross. Call me Charlie. Here sitting beside me is Megumin and the one who's sitting opposite us is Aqua. Now, what should we call you?"
Megumin/Aqua : "Sup?"/"What'd do?"
Waitress : "Sonya."
Charlie/Aqua/Megumin : "Pretty name for a pretty girl."
Sonya blushes as she leaves.
Megumin : "Okay. That just happened. Anyway let's eat.(Thank you for the food) Starts eating.
Charlie takes the tankard and swallows the cider in one gulp surprising everyone.
Charlie : "Ahh, That hit the spot.....What?"
Aqua: "Bruh...Do you have a high tolerance?"

[Charlie's POV]
Our party along with our new recruit are once again standing in the meadow to hunt down more Giant Toads and l've spotted one.

Megumin: "Explosion is the strongest spell, and the more powerful the foe. The more time it takes to conjure. Keep powerful the foe. The more time it takes to conjure. Keep that frog busy until I'm done with my preparations."

Charlie: Draws sword. "I can handle one no sweat!"

Aqua: "There's another one!"

A second emerges on our right side and starts hopping toward our party's position.

Charlie: "Damn! They're sneaky! Alright focus your spell on the furthest one out."

Aqua: "Shouldn't we take out the most imminent threat first?"

Megumin: "I can manage that!"
Charlie: "Aqua I hope you're ready! We could your you know what powers right about now! C'mon show us what a great you know you used to be!"
Aqua : (Dude's smart covering up my record) "Alright! Here I go! Charlie, help Megumin while I deal with the one in front! Gotta show you my new skill that I learnt yesterday!"
Like that, she rushed to the toad and yelled 'WATER SLICE!' where her both arms turned into water shaped sword and just like me yesterday, she sliced it's head off, leaving me and Meg in shock. Later, she turns towards us and yells....
Aqua : "Let's test Megumin's skills now shall we?!"
Charlie : "You rock Aqua!" I yelled back.

Then the wind gust making me hold on to my sword tightly. I turn to Megumin building up energy to conjure her spell.

Megumin: "Darkness! Blacker than black! Darker than dark! Merge with my deep crimson I beseech thee! The time of awakening hath come! From boundaries of righteousness come oh justice as an intangible distortion! Dance!...Dance!...Dance! Transform my torrent of power into a destructive force! One without equal! Return all of creation to cinders and rise from the abyss! Grant your humble servant the ultimate attack spell! EXPLOSION!!!"

An explosion reaching up the heavens has me crouching and holding on to my precious sword. The toad is incinerated and it leaves behind a huge crater when the dust clears to show out the carnage.

Charlie: "Damn, that's what I call magic!"
Another toad emerges from underground croaking.

Charlie: "We got another one!"

Aqua: "Uh oh! I guess the explosion woke it up from it nap! Hey Megumin let's fall back an-!"
Charlie: "Huh?"
Thud! She fell down.

Aqua: "Why in the hell is she down?!"

Megumin: "Even though my Explosion spell is powerful. Using it take a lot of energy. I know little fire magic and I overexerted myself conjuring it....And now, I can't move a muscle."

Charlie: "For real?!"

Megumin: "Oh no, I didn't expect a frog to pop up nearby. Sorry but could you please do something befor-"

Charlie: "MEG!"

A toad starts closing in on Megumin and I run to help her. I get in front of the toad as it's opens it's mouth to eat Megumin. And I pull my sword out and rush to her aid. I slice down the toad from bottom to top, and pulling a slimy Meg in the process.
Later.....
We took our baths, separately and I collected the reward. After dinner and dividing our amount, the girls left cause they have.... 'catching up to do' they said. I was drinking away my pain.
[Third Person POV]
We see a tall, beautiful young woman outside, who gives the appearance of a cool beauty. She is well-endowed and also has light blue eyes and straight, long blonde hair, usually kept in a ponytail tied with a braid and red hair clips secured on both sides of her bangs. She is usually seen clad in black, white, and yellow armour, with a metal shoulder plate on her left side, and a wing-like cloth perched upon her right shoulder. She's on her way to the guild.
[ Darkness' POV] *Narrates in her mind*
Hello, my real name is Dustiness Ford Lalatina. I'm from a noble family as you can see by my given name. I'm a Crusader despite my status. Truth is, I don't want to live my life as a noble. I wanna explore the world and be famous for slaying the Devil King. I gave myself the nickname, Darkness, pretty neat huh? Oh looks I'm here. Let's go. Opens doors. Let's see...in order to join a party you need to speak to their respective leader. Worth a shot checking the bulletin board. Hmmm what's this? Sees the recruitment poster that Aqua drew and stamped it there. Oh sweet! Let's ask the man who's back is turned to me. I approached him and asked....
Darkness: "That recruitment poster, are you still hiring?"
??:" We are. More the merrier. Sit down."
I sat down like he asked and then said...
Darkness : "Thank you sir."
??: "Charles Cross baby. Would like a drink, beautiful?"
Darkness : "Sure Charles."
Charlie : " Call me Charlie. Yo, Sonya! Glass of water!"
Sonya (From the distance) : "Coming right up!"
Charlie : "So, what should I call you miss...?"
Darkness : "Darkness."
Sonya, the waitress Charles called I assume, comes with the glass on our table. Without hesitation, I snatch the glass right off her hand and swallow it in one go.
Charlie : "Must've been thirsty~"
Darkness (pouting with arms crossed) : "Yes I was! Will you take me or what?"
Charles extended his hand towards me and I did the same, we shook hands.
Charlie : "Welcome to the party!"
Darkness : "It's getting late, see you tomorrow." I left as I needed to go home quick to attend to some urgent matters.
Someone's figure was seen sitting on the guild's roof top seeing Darkness running.
???: "Congratulations friend. You found a party."
