Konoka's POV

"Honestly Haruhi I do not get it" I tell my twin.

"I know, with four libraries you'd think one would be quiet" she states. I nod my head in agreement.

"Honestly Haruhi why did you cut your hair so short?" I ask her. "I know there was gum in your hair. But if I didn't know better I'd think you were a guy" I state giggling.

"I don't care if people see me as a boy or girl" she states. "Hey look it's a music room" she says stopping. Looking up I see the sign 'music room 3'.

"I think I heard some girls talking about this room, but I can't remember what they were talking about" I tell her.

"Sounds quiet, lets go in and study"  she states. She opens the door and enters with me following. The door shuts behind us.

"Welcome" six guys voices say.

"Oh wow, it's a boy" the red haired twins say. I recognize them from mine and Haruhi's home room.

"There's a girl also" the one with glasses state as he spots me behind my sister. "Hikaru, Kaoru, I believe these two are in the same class as you, aren't they?" he asks the twims.

"Yeah, but  they're shy. They don't act very sociably so we don't know much about them" the twins state.

"Oh, that wasn't very polite. Welcome to the Ouran Host Club, Mr. and Miss Honor Student" the one with glasses says smiling.

"What? You must be Haruhi and Konoka Fujioka. You're the exceptional honor students we've heard about" the tall blonde says.

"How do you know our names?" Haruhi and I ask as she tries to open the door.

"Why, you're infamous. It's not every day that a commoner, let alone two gain entrance into our academy. You must have an audacious nerve to work hard enough to fight your way into this school as an honor student, Mr. and Miss Fujioka" the one with glasses say making me blush.

"Thank you, I guess" Haruhi says.

"You're welcome, you two are a heros to other poor people. You've shown the world that even a poor person can excel at an elite private academy. It must be hard for you to constantly be looked down upon by others" the tall blonde says and I glare at him.

"You're taking the poor thing to far" I tell him annoyed.

"We welcome you, poor people, to our world of beauty!" he shouts ignoring my comment.

"We're out of here" Haruhi and I state heading for the door. But suddenly the short blonde who looks like a child runs over to us. Grabbing Haruhi's arm.

"Come back here, Haru-chan! You and your sister must be like a super heros or something. That's so cool!" he shouts.

"We aren't heros, just honor students" I tell him smiling. His happiness was contagious.

"And who are you calling Haru-chan?!" Haruhi asks shouting scaring him.

"Haruhi, that was rude" I tell her as kneel down. "Are you ok?" I ask him and he nods his head. While the tall one accused Haruhi of being gay and I try hard not to laugh. He then started asking what type of guy did she like. I myself seem to be attracted to the Cool type.

"Or maybe you're into a guy like me. What do you say?" the tall blonde asks my sister looking her in the eyes. While invading her personal space. Haruhi took a step back bumping into a stand with a vase on it. Knocking the vase off and she tried to save it. But it was to late it broke into many pieces on the floor.

"We were going to feature that Renaissance vase in an upcoming school auction" Hikaru states.

"Oh, now you've done it, commoner. The bidding on that vase was supposed to start at eight million yen" Kaoru adds.

"Eight million yen?" I ask them shocked.

"How many thousand yen is that? How many thousands are in eight million? I'm gonna have to pay you back" Haruhi tells the twins.

"I'll help Haruhi" I assure her. In the end she was made the host club's dog and me their maid. We then left to find a new place to study.

(Later that same day)

Haruhi was sent to buy a few things for the club while I was carrying food/tea trays around. Honestly I had it easier then Haruhi and I think that's because she was the one who broke the vase. So far only Kyoya notices she's a girl. When Haruhi returned with instant coffee it was funny seeing her trying to explain what it is. I'm then make four cups of it as Tamaki wanted to try it.

Just then Mori enters the room carrying a sleepy Honey. "Sorry, we're running late. I was waiting for Takashi to finish his Kendo meeting and I fell asleep. And I'm still not completely awake" Honey explains rubbing his eyes. The girls shout about how cute he is and I silently aww.

"So you like the boy Lolita type?" Kyoya asks startling me.

"No, I love children and often babysit. He reminds me of the young boys I sometimes look after" I explain.

"So what is your type then?" Kyoya asks me.

"You're smart, you figure it out" I tell him before walking over to my sister. Who is now holding a pink stuffed bunny. "Who's this?" I ask her.

"Usa-chan" she states and I smile.

"You'll notice that our club utilizes each man's unique characteristics to cater to the desires of our guests. Just so you know, Tamaki is number one around here. He is the king. His request rate is seventy percent" Kyoya states appearing out of nowhere.

"What is this world coming to?" Haruhi asks me and I shrug.

"And in order for you to pay off your eight million yen debt with us, you will act as the Ouran Host Club's dog and maid until you graduate. I'm sorry, I meant our errand boy" he says looking at Haruhi. "You can try to run away if you want to, Haruhi, but just so you know, my family employs a private police force of one hundred officers. By the way, do you have a passport?" he asks us.

"You have a lot of work to pay off the debt, my little nerds" Tamaki says blowing in Haruhi's ear. Scaring her.

"Please don't do that again" Haruhi tells him breathing heavily. Tamaki then how Haruhi needed a makeover or no girl would look twice at her. One of the twins took her glasses off and she is suddenly taken to the changing room.

"Konoka, please go change into this" Kyoya says handing me a bag. I enter the change room to see Haruhi push the twins away and pull the curtain across.

"You finally realized" I say smirking as I go trough the curtain. I get changed into the female uniform while Haruhi puts on the guys. I do her tie and she puts in the new contacts Mori had gotten her. We exit the change room to be greeted by the hosts.

"You're as pretty as a girl Haruhi!" Tamaki exclaims.

"Kono-chan, you look so cute" Honey states.

"If we had known that's how you both really look" Hikaru starts.

"We would of helped you out sooner" Kaoru finishes.

"Maybe they'll bring in customers, we've never had a hostess before" Kyoya states. So that's how Haruhi and I became hosts. So here I set with three girls in front of me and Haruhi across the room in the same position.

"So Konoka, do you have any hobbies?" one asks me.

"I love to swim, once I swam with a dolphin and her baby. It was so amazing to see them together" I tell them smiling.

"That's so sweet!" they squeal.

"I also love to look after children and read" I add.

"Is that why you like Honey?" one asks me.

"He's adorable, but not someone I'd date" I tell them.

"Then which host would you date?" they ask me curious.

"Don't know, I haven't really figured out my type yet" I tell them. "Maybe you girls can help me" I suggests and they nods their heads excitedly.

"Can we request you tomorrow?" one asks.

"Of course and thank you for your time" I say smiling. I walk home alone as Haruhi's bag had ended up in the pond. She said she didn't need and I should get a head start on dinner.

(Next day)

I was happily serving my customers. When there was a loud crush from across the room. "No, Haruhi, leave me alone! Somebody, help! He just attacked me! Someone, do something! Teach this commoner a lesson!" a girl shouts and I turn to see Haruhi on top of a girl. Suddenly the twins dumped two jugs of water on the pair.

Tamaki helps the girl stand as she accuses Haruhi of assaulting her. "I'm disappointed in you.
You threw his bag into the pond, didn't you?" Tamaki demands. I glare at her, how dare she do that to my big sister.

"Do you have any proof I did?" she asks looking like a crazy person.

"You know, you're a beautiful girl. But you aren't classy enough to be our guest, dear. If there's one thing I know, Haruhi is not that kind of a man" Tamaki states.

"Tamaki, you idiot!" she shouts running out of the room.

"Hmm, now how am I going to punish you? Because it is your fault after all. Your quota is now one thousand" Tamaki tells Haruhi.

"One thousand" Haruhi says in shock.

"Don't worry Haruhi, we can do anything together" I assure her. Tamaki helps her up as Kyoya gives her a bag with a dry uniform inside. We sent the guest away and I mop up the floor. I then go into change room to see Haruhi in a girl uniform and Tamaki blushing madly. "What's going on? Aside from everyone now knowing my sister is a girl" I ask Kyoya.

"I could be wrong, but I think we may be witnessing the beginnings of love here" he tells me and I giggle. Now that would be an unusual match.

"Being a host and getting fussed over by a bunch of girls might not be that bad. I wonder how I could pull it off" Haruhi ponders.

"I've got it! You'll just call everyone dude and bro now" I tell her and we laugh.
