"...Sasuke?"

"Holy shit." Was all Sasuke said as he walked to the edge of the water, Kruno swimming towards the edge of the bank. Once she was there, Sasuke pulled her out and her arms wrapped around his neck tightly, pulling herself close to him.

He wrapped his arms around her waist tightly, pulling her very close to him. "I thought you were dead." He muttered into her ear, and she nuzzled her head against his neck.

"I am dead." She said lowly, and Sasuke pulled back, placing his hands on her shoulders, his onyx eyes starting into hers.

"You're not dead. You're standing right in front of me." Sasuke said, shaking Kruno slightly. She gave a laugh and stared at him.

"I'm not dead here." She said, motioning her arms to around herself. "But I am here." She said, pointing to where her chest was. Sasuke gave a light laugh as he shook his head. In a long time, Sasuke had not shown this much emotion, but something was different when he was around Kruno. It was like that with everyone who met her. Regardless if they actually knew her or not, they would feel as if they had to show some kind of emotion around her. It was strange.

But ever since they first met when they were younger, Kruno and Sasuke had been close. They were the best of friends for a really long time, before Sasuke's clan was killed, and Kruno was taken away, but when she came back for that short period, she didn't make as much time for Sasuke as she had wished she had.

"It's been too long, do you want to go eat?" Sasuke asked, and Kruno nodded her head slightly, before looking down at her clothes.

"Actually, I'm soaked, Is that a good idea to go eat?" She asked, and Sasuke gave her the famous Uchiha smirk that she had become so accustomed to.

"Maybe not. I'll go get something. You stay here." He said, pointing to the tree behind him. Kruno raised an eyebrow at him, giving him her classic 'Are-you-seriously-telling-me-what-to-do?' look. Before she even got a chance to speak, Sasuke nodded his head. "And yes, I am telling you what to do."

Kruno grumbled slightly as she sat down at the base of the tree, crossing her arms over her chest in a huff. Sasuke gave a light chuckle before he turned and walked towards the nearest tree. He could feel Kruno's glare burning into the back of his head, but he just continued to laugh slightly. Still the same old Kruno he used to know, even if she claimed to be 'dead.'

What ever happened to her? Sasuke wasn't sure. He was never told exactly what happened, he just knew that he was told that she was missing after the attack on Konoha, and that a lot of people just assumed her to be dead. The only bit of love and hope that Sasuke had in the world died off when she disappeared for the second time. Any reason he had to stay in Konoha disappeared when she left Konoha. Any reason he had to hold on, was gone.

In reality, Kruno would have been one of the only people who had actually been there for him when his family was killed by Itachi, if she had been there. Sasuke knew that, so he didn't blame Kruno for anything, because he knew that she would have been there if she could have been. While he blamed everyone else for letting him be alone, while he blamed himself for not being strong enough to protect everyone else, he could never blame her for what happened.

He blamed himself a lot for her disappearance both time. The first time he blamed himself because where she was taken from was very close to where he and Itachi were training. The second time, he had much more blame in himself than the first time, because she was going after him. She was going to help him, and that's when she went missing, that's when everyone told her she was declared dead.

Sasuke squeezed his fist slightly as he walked into a small little village, and to a ramen shop. He order Kruno two orders of beef ramen with extra beef, and just one normal bowl of beef ramen for himself. Once he paid for the orders, he made his way back to where he had left Kruno.

To his surprise, she was still sitting there, her glossy eyes staring over into the lake. A single tear rolled down her face as she looked over the lake, scanning every inch of the water with such intensity that she did not even notice Sasuke sit down beside her, until he nudged her slightly. Kruno let out a surprised yelp, she jumped up, and glared over at the smirking Uchiha.

"You're an asshole..." She muttered, before she saw the ramen cups in his hands, and her eyes lit up. "Actually, no you're not, and I love you!" She said, Sasuke laughed slightly and handed her the two cups with extra beef. Kruno eyed the food hungrily before grabbing a pair of chop sticks and digging in.

Sasuke watched her eat for a few minute, before laughing. Kruno looked over at him with a piece of ramen hanging out of her mouth, her eyes slightly wide. "What?" She asked, and Sasuke laughed a little more.

"Forgot how much of pig you are when you eat." He said, and Kruno looked at him with narrowed eyes, before smacking his arm roughly. Sasuke looked at her with slightly narrowed eyes, and he smacked her arm back.

Kruno's eyes widen slightly as she placed her ramen behind the tree, and began to roll her sleeves up. "Imma show a mother fucker why a mother fucker shouldn't mess with me." She said as she held up her arms, her hands balled in fists as she hit Sasuke two times in the arm. This caused Sasuke to smirk slightly before leaping towards Kruno.

Kruno let out a surprised yelp as she was tackled to the ground by Sasuke, but began to fight back. She was smacking his arms, punching him randomly, as he was doing the same. They rolled around on the ground, doing this for a few minutes before falling apart from each other, letting out a large laugh.

Both of them laughed in between pants for air, before glancing over at each other. "I missed you." She said, and Sasuke nodded his head, before sitting up.

"I missed you too, Kru." He said, as he extended his hand to her. She took and he help her up to her feet, then walking together back to the tree that they had been eating at. Kruno smiled as she grabbed one of her cups of ramen and started to munch on beef that was inside the cup.

"You know everyone thinks your dead right?" Sasuke said, looking over at Kruno.

"Not everyone. Some people know I'm alive now, it's only taken them nearly four years to figure it out." She replied.

"Oh yeah, who knows your still alive?"

Kruno thought about it for a second, tapping her fingers along her thigh. "Asuma, Sakura, Izumo, Kotesu, Ino, Choji, I'm sure Kakashi knows... Shikamaru..." She whispered the last one, and Sasuke looked at her with confused eyes.

"He missed you a lot, when I was around. Course I didn't stay around much longer than you did, but he was pretty torn up about it." Sasuke said, and Kruno shook her head slightly with a small sigh.

"But he's the reason I left. He told me he didn't love me anymore. At all, actually." She whispered. "He broke me."

"I don't think that that was him, Kruno. I may not be the best person in the world to talk to about love, because frankly I don't love a whole lot, but you could see in his eyes just how much he adored you. He spent the majority of his time with you, and he always wanted you to be happy. I honestly believe that he loved you with all his heart, and that it probably was not him. Actually, I know it wasn't him. It would be too much effort for him to make something up like that." Sasuke said with a laugh, Kruno had a ghost of a smile on her lips.

A few minutes of silence coursed over them, before Kruno spoke up. "Do you ever think of going back?" She asked, and Sasuke shrugged slightly.

"I don't know. The village is too weak for me, but I cannot say that I do not miss it, because I do. A lot." Sasuke said. "Even Naruto, and those God forsaken fan girls."

Kruno threw her head back in laughter. "I'm sure they miss you too." She said, wiping a small tear from her eye from the amount of laughing she had done. They finally relaxed into a comfortable silence, both of them slowly eating the food Sasuke had brought them.

"I'm sure they all miss you too, Kru. We all loved you. Even people who didn't know you, they loved you." Sasuke said, and Kruno nodded her head slightly, leaning against the tree. "Do you ever think you'll go back?"

Kruno glanced up at the sky, and then down at her hands, to the lake, and then at Sasuke. She gave a small smile, and shrugged her shoulders.

"I don't know."

Currently Naruto, Kiba, Shikamaru, and Sakura were on there way to Suna. They needed to talk to the sand siblings, because they cared about Kruno and the possibility of them getting her back would increase more if she had more people there to prove that they loved her.

"Shikamaru?" Naruto asked, glancing over at his friends as they ran across the sandy ground of Suna.

"Yeah, Naruto?" He asked, his normal laziness in his voice leaking through.

"How many people do you think Kruno has killed?" He asked, and Shikamaru's eyes widened. He thought about it for a minute before shrugging his shoulders.

"I don't know, Naruto. She gets this crazy look in her eyes when the opportunity to kill someone is granted go her. So I just do not know." He replied, honestly. Naruto just gave a small sigh as he nodded his head, muttering an 'okay.' under his breath.

"Do you guys really think they will come help us get her back even though she was part of the organization that kill Gaara. We don't know if she was there when they actually killed him, but we do know that she was there when we found his body." Sakura said. Kiba grunted slightly.

"From how highly she used to talk about her friendship with these people, I think they will find it their hearts to help us get the real her back, because the girl who was there when that happened was not the real her. I think they'll understand that." Shikamaru said as they ran along the sand ground.

The rest of the trip was in silence, and when they arrived at the gates of Suna, the guard did not stop them for they were fairly regular at Suna, Naruto and Sakura at least. Kiba not so much, and Shikamaru maybe once or twice.

They walked through the gorgeous sand town, until they reached rhe kazakages building. Shikamaru sighed softly as they walked inside, up the stairs, and to Gaara's office. Shikamaru knocked three times on the door, but Naruto just bursted in.

Gaara glanced up from his paper work to see Naruto standing in front of him, three other lead shinobi's standing to his right. "This is unexpected. What can I do for you?" Gaara asked, and Shikamaru sighed softly as he walked in.

"This will be easier if your siblings are here too." He said, and Gaara nodded slightly before he looked at a guard that was standing to the leaf of him. He gave a the guard a nod and he disappeared for a few minutes before bringing both Temari and Kankuro back into the room. They looked around confused for a moment, looking at the leaf shinobi then at Gaara. Gaara's eyes were glued on Shikamaru, and he gave him a slight nod as if telling him to begin.

"Kruno's alive." Shikamaru said, and all three of the sand shinobi stopped moving and stared at Shikamaru.

"Is this some kind of sick joke?" Temari asked, staring intensely at Shikamaru for any signs of lying, and he gave off none. Temari covered her mouth with her hands slightly as a tear fell down her face.

"Well where is she?!" Kankuro asked, and Shikamaru sighed softly.

"That's what we need your help with. We need you guys to talk to Kruno with the rest of us to convince her to come home."

"Come home?"

"She joined the Akatsuki."

Temari's eyes widen slightly as she stared straight at the lazy ninja. "You mean the people who killed Gaara?! She was part of that?!"

"You need to hear me out before you get super mad. Kruno isn't herself. Something happened during the exams, and she said it broke her. She is not her, but I feel like if we all get together and tell her just how much we love her and need her, maybe she will come home."

"We are n-" Temari started, but Gaara cut her off.

"We'll help." He said. Shikamaru looked at the red headed man, and gave him a small nod with a smile.

"Thank you."

SO THE REASON THIS IS CALLED KONOHA'S TRAITOR(S) IS BECAUSE OF BOTH SASUKE AND KRUNO. YES I KNOW SASUKE IS OOC BUT I LIKe it liKE THAT.
