Unforgivable! A Total Lack of Respect!

We stood atop a roof, near the fallen castle. What happened? "Run! Run for your life!" Screams of people is heard and a lot of them passed us, running off with fear on their faces. "Hey you there! What's going on? Tell me what you are running from?" Jiraiya asked.

One man stopped to answer. "If you're smart you'll run too! There's a monster up there!" He shouted in fear. Monster? What the hell is he talking about?

"Now just calm down. What kind of monster? What do you mean?" Jiraiya asked, a knowing look on his face. "A snake! A huge snake! It crushed the castle without even trying!"

I sighed, glancing at Jiraiya. "It seems a battle in inevitable." He sighed as well. "Come on." He ran towards the castle. Naruto and I followed after.

Orochimaru. You're going to pay for killing gramps! I'll kill you!

The mark on my neck burned, but not because it was activating. Because of the seal Kakashi and gramps placed on it was restraining it from activating.

Ignoring the burn, I pushed myself more. We have to move, and fast! Who knows what he'll do. Especially if Tsunade is up there. Who am I kidding, there's no reason to come to this town if not for her.

But why? Does he think he can pursued her? Wait, could he be injured? He might have been injured badly by gramps and is seeking her help. But there are tons of other Medical Ninja's out there. Why would he need her?

What does he want with Tsunade?

Suddenly Orochimaru and Kabuto's scent started to move away, and out of my radar. Tch. Where did he go? I can't detect their scents. Damn it all to hell!

As we continued, I saw a destroyed wall. "Jiraiya, look!" I stopped and pointed. His eyes widened slightly. "I know that type of destruction. Someone punched it. Was it . . ." I trailed off and looked at him for an answer.

"Yeah. Looks like we're too late. We won't find Tsunade here." He said, walking ahead. Naruto groaned from next to me and rubbed his head. "Not this again I was hoping he forgot about her." He grumbled as we trailed after him.

We didn't find snakes, so we headed back into town. "Is Orochimaru still in this town?" Jiraiya asked. I shook my head. "The only reason I detected him was because he was on higher grounds and his scent went down. He must be on level ground. I can't quite catch scents at too far of distances. He's out of my radar." I told him. He groaned and rubbed his head. "Well let's continue on then."

There, in town, we searched until night, for Tsunade. "This is getting ridiculous. How many places are you going to drag us to? I'm starting to think this old lady doesn't exist." Naruto complained.

She's very much real. She's famous. Jiraiya stopped and turned to the tavern in front of us. "Well in the mean time, we'll stop in here and eat." He said. Finally. I'm hungry. Naruto ate all of my emergency food.

"Hey! What are you talking about?! It's a tavern!" Naruto shouted angrily. "Yeah, so what?" The old man responded. Naruto pointed to me and him. "You trying to be a bad influence? Hello, we're underage!" Naruto shouted.

I sweat dropped. "Naruto, they do sell food." I informed my brother. We followed our sensei inside, despite Naruto's protest.

Jiraiya turned a bit and was staring at something. I followed his gaze to two women, a blonde and a woman with black hair. Jiraiya pointed at the blonde, look of disbelief on his face. "Tsunade!" He shouted.

Huh? This lady? "Jiraiya! What the, why are you here?" She demanded. From the looks of it I agree with the pervert. She isn't aging gracefully and it looks like she's a little drunk.

The Three Legendary Sanin are beginning to look more like a big joke. He headed towards her. "Finally, I've been looking everywhere for you. Oh, should've known you'd be in here."

We sat down in front of the two women. It was quiet for a bit, until a server came by and asked for our orders.

Once we got our food, Naruto and I ate quietly and observed the adults. Tsunade kept on drinking. I sighed. So much for female role model. If she's not even good at gambling, she shouldn't be drinking so much.

Really now. But aside from that. Looking at the two, a faint smell of the stupid snake lingered. It seems it was a mere conversation. But to what scale?

Tsunade mumbled something about a reunion and old faces coming back. "You mean Orochimaru. So what exactly happened?" He asked. The other woman gasped in shock and Tsunade shot her a look.

Hm. "Oh nothing very much. We said hello, that's about it." She took out a deck of cards and began shuffling. She's a terrible liar.

She placed the cards down, and Jiraiya grabbed then. "Well then, why have you been looking for me?" She asked.

"I'll cut right to the chase. Tsunade, in it's wisdom, the village has come to the decision to name you as the Fifth Hokage." He answered, placing the deck back down. Naruto choked on his food and the other woman's eyes widened. It was then I noticed a little pig with a jacket and pearls was next to her

Okay then. I turned my gaze back to Tsunade, who's eyes were wide before closing them. She then passed him some cards. I turned to my brother and pat his back, trying to help with his choking.

He finally gasped for air, finally being able to breathe. Jiraiya picked up his cards. "You've heard about the Third Hokage." He stated. I suppose he has an idea of what Orochimaru wants.

Tsunade picked up her cards. "It was Orochimaru's doing right? I heard about it. In fact he told me himself." I looked down, clenching my fists.

Gramps. I should have stayed. But even if I did stay, I could have made things worse. I am in no way strong enough to kill him.

"Hold on a second! You're saying he's the one who killed the old man? Miyu, I heard you and Sakura talking about it, who is this Orochimaru guy?!" My brother turned to me, demanding an answer.

I took a bite of my rice. "He's one of the Three Legendary Sanin along with Jiraiya and Tsunade. He's the one responsible for the village. He infiltrated the Leaf and took down both the Kazekage and the Hokage." I answered, remembering the shocking news I overheard from Asuma and Guy.

Naruto's eyes went wide and Jiraiya eyes me. "How'd you know about the Kazekage?" He asked. I shrugged, eating some more. "Guy isn't exactly the quietest talker." He sweat dropped.

"But why?! He's from the village, so why did he do it?!" Naruto asked. Tsunade eyed the two of us. "Who are these brats?" I stared at her. Hag.

Jiraiya chuckled. "This is Naruto and Miyuna Uzumaki." She turned her gaze to Naruto, who stood up. "Okay wait a second! I'm not finished yet! There's something about this I'm not getting! So this guy, you know he's the one who murdered the Hokage! What have you done about it?!" He demanded, facing Jiaiya.

Naruto . . . "He's a Sanin, one of you guys! Why's he still walking around?! Why haven't you caught him?!" He shouted.

I bit my lip. "Oh yeah, and what's the deal with her being the Fifth Hokage?!" He roared pointing at her. "Naruto, sit down and shut up." Jiraiya told him, not looking away from his cards.

My brother turned back to him. "Absolutely not!" My brother argued. Jiraiya glared at him. "Sit down." A chill went down my spine at the tone of his voice. It was a mix of a hiss and a growl.

Naruto did what he said, but was not happy about it. He placed some cards down and drew some.

Looking up at Tsunade, he spoke. "I'll say it once again. The LeafVillage has made its decision. They have chosen you to be the fifth Hokage. So, what's your answer?"

I stared at Tsunade, observing her. Based on her behavior, I'm betting she has crappy cards. That and she doesn't want to be Hokage.

"Do you accept it Tsunade?" Jiraiya asked, very serious.

She stayed quiet for a bit before throwing her cards down. "Impossible. I decline." Huh? I mean I could tell that's what she was going to say, but it's still a little unbelievable. "You know it's kind of funny. That rings a bell. I remember you saying those very words the first and only time I ever asked you out."

I glanced at Tsunade's large and prominent chest.

Hm, I wonder why? Damn pervert.

Naruto rubbed his head furiously. "Will someone tell me what's going on?! What the heck are we doing here?! You said we'd bring her back to the village so she can cure Miyuna and Kakashi-Sensei!"

I hit him upside his head. "I don't need healing." I grumbled, slightly annoyed. He grumbled. "But he says that she's going to be Hokage, but then she goes and refuses it!" He said angrily.

"Don't worry Naruto. She knows she can't refuse. There can be no one else. There was no one who contributed more to the Leaf's victory in the Great War. She combines unrivaled skills as a warrior with the ability to heal others. What's more, she is the granddaughter of the First Hokage. So in heritage and abilities, she is the clear and only choice to be the Fifth Hokage."

Oh wow. I didn't know she's related to the First.

"And once she accepts her destiny, which she will, then she'll have to come back with us to the village and there heal your sensei. You see it's been all very carefully thought out by the highest council of the village. No offense, but its not something an under aged Genin is expected to understand."

He's not wrong. Even I don't quite understand it all. But I get the gist of things. In other words, whether she likes it or not, she's the only one who can be our Hokage.

Naruto crossed his arms and pouted. "Ha. You're slipping Jiraiya. These apprentices aren't at all like your last one. He's a fool with a big mouth. Funny looking too."

Why you lousy old bitch!

"Oh yeah?!" Naruto started.

"Well to be fair, it's hard for anyone to measure up to that standard. The Fourth Hokage showed all the signs of becoming the greatest ninja in generations. Brimming with talent and natural ability. Brilliant, popular, and to top it off, nearly as handsome as his teacher."

A small smile made its way onto my lips. Dad really was great.

"Oh sure but all that didn't save him from dying young. Throwing his life away, all for the sake of the village? Money's one thing, a life's another." I emitted a dangerous aura and gripped the table. Calm down.

"To risk your life against all the odds? That's a suckers bet." I released the table, knowing if I didn't I'd brake it. "You better watch your mouth hag." I growled out.

She shot me a glare and I returned it. "My grandfather and his successor, they were also willing to die to defend the village. Well they're both dead alright. And the village is no safer then it ever was."

This bitch.

"Sounds to me you've changed Tsunade. I don't know what happened to make you like this, but to say such things out loud?" Jiraiya said. She chuckled at that.

Leaning her cheek in her hand, she looked at him. "Don't forget I'm not as young as I look. The years have taught me a great deal. Sarutobi-Sensei too. He should have known better. What did he expect trying to be a hero at his age?"

I stood fast and slapped her. Her eyes were wide in shock, as was everyone else's. "Would you have been more satisfied if he fled and let everyone die? I don't care what you say about anyone else, but do not disrespect gramps."

She stared at me. "You may be fifty, but I can see you're only a little girl, afraid of the world around her. Hiding like a child . . . if the Leaf appointed someone like that as Hokage, then the village is no more then a joke."

I turned and headed out. "Miyu! Where are you going?" Jiraiya asked, standing. "I'm going for a walk." I answered, leaving the place.

The night air hit me as soon as I stepped out. I leaned against the wall and looked into the sky. How could she say that about gramps, dad, and the other Hokage? If they had chosen their lives over the village I would have been ashamed.

If she keeps on pushing my buttons, I'm going to have to do a lot more then slap her.

If I could have it my way, I'd break every bone in her body.

Nobody disrespects my family and gets away with it.

Not even our soon to be Fifth Hokage.
