My neck . . . is burning. It hurts. Sasuke stood in front of us, and he looked pissed. What's going to happen?

I'm scared. Not for me, but for my friends. They need to run away. They need to go now! I tried moving my body, but my limbs wouldn't respond.

I grit my teeth. Damn. I need to go. "I knew it. It's finally happened. His Uchiha blood has come to a boil. I think I'll play with him a little and learn the extent of his powers."

"S-Sasuke, take Naruto and Sakura and run. Hurry, go now." I hollered. Sasuke held his kunai in between his teeth and ran our way.

The ninja did a hand sign and wind was blown and dust picked up. Sasuke merely jumped up and threw a bunch of kunai at the ninja. But she merely moved to the side.

Sasuke used a tree to pick up speed our way. The grass ninja threw me to the side and I was caught by Sakura.

"Miyu are you okay?" She asked worriedly. I still couldn't move my body. I tried but my hand just twitched. "I can't move." She continued to look at me worriedly.

I looked off to the side to see Sasuke fighting taijutsu style with the ninja. He looked cool, but I knew that the ninja was playing with him. But Sasuke was doing pretty good. He was great, but I just knew that the ninja was far more powerful.

Why didn't he leave when I told him to? They were going so fast. And Sasuke could keep up with him. He's even using his fire jutsu's!

Even though I knew the ninja was playing with him, I couldn't help but watch in awe. So this is what a battle between shinobi looks like. It was amazing. Absolutely breathtaking. I never realized that a battle could be so enchanting.

As the battle drew on Sasuke appeared above the ninja. He grabbed him and they rushed downward. Sasuke kept the ninja in his grasp as he slammed his head into a thick tree branch.

Did he kill him? Sasuke jumped off of the ninja. I thought he had her, but her body turned into mud. A Substitution Jutsu. Damn!

 A barrage of kunai launched at Sasuke who started to jump away from it. Sasuke jumped off and used wire to swing himself onto another branch.

However the grass ninja appeared in front of Sasuke and elbowed him in his face. Then he started wailing on him. I knew it. He was just toying with Sasuke.

"Sasuke!" Sakura shouted worriedly. "What a disappointment you turned out to be. Your ancestors weep. The Uchiha clan should thank me for killing you. Silly little worm."

"No! Don't . . . touch . . . him!" I flash stepped in front of Sasuke, surprising the ninja. "HAAAA!" I punched him in his face and he flung back and made a dent in the tree. I fell to my knees shortly after. Damn. My neck . . . it's still burning.

Searing pain crossed my neck and I bit my lip to keep from screaming in pain. Then the back of the ninja blew up and she screamed in surprise. I felt Sasuke lifting me up and jump away.

He threw a bunch of shuriken towards the ninja and I noticed wires were attached to them. Sasuke landed and gently set me down while still having a hold of the wires.  He then started moving the wires and the shuriken moved with it. "Incredible. The Sharingan Windmill Triple Attack!" The ninja awed.

Whoa. I looked up at Sasuke then the ninja. The wires had trapped and tied her to the tree. I watched Sasuke in awe as he performed some hand signs. Fire emitted from him and fired down the wires. The ninja was set aflame and she screamed in pain and agony.

I smiled. "Nice Sasuke." I whispered hoarsely.

Sasuke started panting heavily and Sakura ran over to him. "It's okay, don't worry. It's all over." But the ninja merely broke the wires and performed a genjutsu. Sasuke and Sakura were paralyzed in fear again. Damn.

"Such mastery of the Sharingan at such young of age. You're a true Uchiha after all." The woman's voice turned into a man's. What the hell.

I looked at the lady and noticed part of her face burned off and melted. The man underneath's skin is pale and he has frightening golden eyes.

What the hell is going on?! "You are defiantly his brother. If anything your eyes are even keener then Itachi's."

My soul throbbed. Itachi. . ? My soul throbbed again.

~Seven Years Earlier~

I giggled as Itachi held me atop his shoulders. I reached up and plucked three pears from a giant tree. "Here you go Itachi. Catch Sasuke!" I tossed the other to a smaller version of Sasuke.

He caught it and smiled. "Thanks Miyu!" he took a bite out and smiled. I followed his example. "Mm! You're right Itachi, these are the best!"

Itachi chuckled and set me down. "I know right?" we sat down and ate in comfortable silence. After we finished I jumped up. "Okay! I should get home now and make some lunch for Naruto."

Itachi stood next to me and smiled. His dark eyes holding nothing but kind and warmth. "We'll walk you back."

Sasuke grinned and jumped on Itachi's back. "Alright! Hey Miyu, do you want to play tomorrow too?" He asked hopefully.

I smiled at the two brothers as they looked at me curiously. I gave them a closed eye smile. "Of course! I love being with you Sasuke, Itachi!"

~Back to Present~

What the hell? Another memory with Sasuke and Itachi? Why did I only remember now? I shook my head. This is not the time. I have to protect my friends.

"Who are you?! What do you want?!" Sasuke roared. The man chuckled as he tossed our scroll up before catching it. "My name is Orochimaru. But as to what I want that will have to wait until we meet again, which won't happen until you finish this test with the best score of all."

The scroll caught on fire. "First you'll have to defeat the sound ninja who serves me."

"I have no idea what you're talking about but if you're finished then beat it. If we never meet again it'll be too soon!" Sakura shouted.

"Oh he and I will meet again. And of course the girl." He looked over to me. I shivered at his stare. He performed a hand sign and his neck shot out and he bit Sasuke like he bit me.

"NO!" I shouted. I managed to stand and punch his head back to his body. I watched as a weird mark appeared on Sasuke's neck. However I fell back down due to the pain in my own neck. Does my neck have that strange mark too?

Sasuke was grunting in pain. "You! What have you done to Sasuke?! You did the same thing to Miyu too! What did you do to my friends?!"

"I just gave them a little gift. Like this." His neck shot out and he bit my neck again. This time I couldn't help but scream in agony. He snapped his neck back and smirked. "See? I only made her mark as strong as his."

I whimpered and curled up in a ball. "Very soon Sasuke and Miyuna will seek me out. They will desire my power. In the meantime I enjoyed the demonstration of the powers you already possess." He chuckled and disappeared in the tree.

Sasuke and I screamed in absolute pain. "Sasuke! Miyu!" Sakura ran to our side. "What is it? What has he done to you two?" Sakura asked.

I just continued to whimper and clutch my neck in pain. After some more screaming Sasuke went limp. "S-Sakura. Take Sasuke and Naruto and run." I grunted out. She looked over at me in shock. "But what about . . ."

"You don't have enough chakra to make a shadow clone. You can only carry two people so take them and run. I'll be fine." She shook her head. "No! I won't leave you! You're my friend and Sasuke's . . ."

I just smiled at her. "I know you can make a clone, but you need to conserve your energy. Now go." Tears filled her eyes as she shook her head.

She's a good person. Too good for this kind of ninja life. But I believe in her. "Sakura, there are times on missions where there are situations like this. In that time you'll need to choose which ninja you leave behind. I already decided this for you. Save Sasuke and Naruto."

She was full out bawling now. "No! You're my friend and teammate! I could never do that!"

"Sakura!" I shouted. She jumped. "Please, save them. You'll need to protect them until they wake up and I trust you to do it. Please. You need to man up and protect them like they protected you. You are a ninja, and I know you can protect them." She was still crying but she nodded. "Okay. I'm so sorry Miyu." She sobbed.

I smiled at her. "It's okay Sakura. I leave them to you." She picked up Sasuke and got Naruto before glancing at me one last time before jumping off.

I sighed and closed my eyes. Sakura, take care of Sasuke and my brother. I may not see them grow, but I know you'll be able to watch them for me.

With that in mind I blacked out.

Third Person's POV

Sakura watched over the unconscious boys, tears still streaking down her face. She was filled with grief and guilt. She left Miyu to die.

"Oh Miyu. Please be safe. Please forgive me. I'm so sorry."
