The Scrolls Secret! No Peeking Allowed!

The water is so clear, you can see the fish. Naruto and his clones went on the high ledge and jumped into the river, scaring the fish. When any jumped, Sasuke threw a kunai, killing it and nailing it to a tree.

Naruto emerged panting a bit. "Well? Is that it? I only got three. Now go and do it again." Sasuke demanded. "What?!" Naruto shouted in irritation.

Of course Sasuke didn't care. "I can eat three fish myself." He provoked. Naruto started throwing his hands up and down in anger making the water splash. "Well if you think it's so easy you get wet and I'll stay on the shore!"

I sighed. Sakura was putting the fire together so I quickly changed into a swimsuit. She turned to yell something at them when her eyes widened and her face got red at the sight of me.

I ignored her and walked over to them. "Here, I'll do it Naruto." I suggested. They looked at me and Naruto's eyes widened as did Sasuke who turned away from me and was bright red. "Miyu change!" Naruto shouted.

I rolled my eyes and jumped into the water and swam after some fish. I managed to catch two and reemerged. Sasuke was still turned and Naruto had two more fish in his hands. We grinned at each other.

This was easy! "Sasuke! The fires ready to light. I could use one of your fireballs!" Sakura shouted from her position in the forest.

Sasuke sighed but took one last look at me. He trailed his eyes up and down before becoming redder and walking over to Sakura. I frowned and looked down.

I wore a black bikini. The tops strapless and ties into a little bow in the front. It's not bad. I thought it would be handy in during this time. And my hairs down so my hair won't get knotted together in the pigtails.

I shrugged and continued our fish hunt. In the end we had eleven fish. We stuck sticks through the, and put them to the fire to cook.

I had changed into my clothes mush to Naruto and Sasuke's relief. Still don't understand the point. The mood's pretty depressing. "It's already been four days since the second exam began." Sasuke pointed out what we were all thinking.

I sighed. He's right. We have one day left and we don't have a Heaven Scroll. "We're sure not going to break any records. And we only have twenty-four hours left." He said in a bitter tone. "Records aren't our goal though. Even if our odds aren't looking well."

"I wonder how many teams already got their scrolls and finished." Sakura wondered aloud. Our odds we're definitely not in our favor. We're screwed.

I sighed again and watched the embers and flame dance around the eleven fish. Once they were done Naruto snatched two and started eating fast. Sasuke grabbed two as well and Sakura had one. I wasn't hungry and I'd let the others fill up first.

"We have to face it. There may not be any more Heaven Scrolls left." Sakura muttered depressed like.

She's right. I pulled my knees to my chest and moved closer to the heat of the fire. "Well that's a cheerful thought." Sasuke replied sarcastically. "Maybe it's true. Look you said it yourself Sasuke, this is the fourth day we've been out here. That means we've already used 80% of the time we got to complete the exam." Sakura reasoned.

Naruto grabbed two more fish and continued eating. Only four fish remain. "Only thirteen teams can pass because there are only thirteen pairs of Heaven and Earth Scrolls and you got 26 teams 78 candidates out looking for them. If those odds weren't bad enough, things have gotten worse."

"Calm down Sakura. You're bumming me out. So what if the odds aren't in our favor? They're never in our favor and we've been doing just fine. I'm sure it'll work."

She looked at me and I smiled. "We'll pass. I got a good feeling. Call it woman's intuition." She furrowed her eyebrows. "Then how come I can't feel it?" she asked. I shrugged nonchalantly. "You are all math and statistic like it interferes with your own woman's intuition."

She sweat dropped at me. I laughed and returned my gaze to the fire. We'll be just fine.

I blinked as I realized something. The rest of the fish is gone. I looked over to Naruto to see himself rubbing his stomach and sighed in content.

Wow. He was really hungry. Sasuke followed my gaze and quickly looked between him and the fire. He then glared at Naruto. "You idiot your own sister hasn't even eaten and you ate twice the amount I did."

He shot Naruto a glare. "It's alright. I'm fine. I just wanted to make sure you guys had enough. You had a hard time."

"You've been through more than him." Sasuke said. I shrugged.

Sasuke stood. "I'll go get another fish and water. I'll be back." Sasuke stood and headed to the stream. He doesn't have to.

I sighed and moved closer to the warmth of the fire. I'm still wet. "Hey Miyu, Sakura!" Naruto whispered at us.

We turned to face him. "I know how we can do this without having to fight anybody." What is he talking about? I'm almost scared of what he has in mind.

"Look." He set the Earth Scroll down and dug through his weapons pouch and a few scrolls came out. I blinked. He's not implying what I think he is right? "Look at what?" Sakura asked.

"What do you mean look at what? The scrolls. I've got tons of them. You know manuals of ninjutsu and stuff like that. We can make these look exactly like the Heaven Scroll."

"Stop! Don't even." Sakura said loudly. Naruto seemed confused. "Even if you could fake the outside, how do you fake what's on the inside? You couldn't know without reading it and that's against the rules. Idiot."

I sighed. I hated it when she was mean to him but I've learned not to get pissed every time. Naruto put his hand to his chin in the mischievous way.

Ah crap. Then Naruto talked about a code and how they go together. It was a mix of Naruto explaining and Sakura yelling.

"But wait. We do have a clue of what's inside the Heaven Scroll. The Earth Scroll."

"You wouldn't." Sakura said.

"It's our only chance. I'm going to open it and read this scroll." Naruto said with a serious expression before Sakura hit upside the head and started yelling at him.

However Naruto said it was our only chance and we all leaned into it. "Guys . . . I don't think we should do it." I murmured feeling nervous.

"Miyu we have to or we won't pass. Come on, it's you and me together right?" Naruto said. So I naturally gave in.

So Sakura and I watched Naruto, hearts pounding and sweating slightly. Naruto gingerly grabbed the corner of the scroll and prepared to peel. He did it slightly and my heartbeat spiked.

We watched as he gingerly peeled it a bit and a hand shot out. It surprised me so much I screamed before realizing it was . . . Kabuto? "I wouldn't do that if I were you." He warned.

Sasuke ran towards Kabuto and we tried to calm him down to listen on what happened.

"I can't believe you guys. You too Miyu?" Sasuke had his arm around my waist as he was scolding us. Apparently he heard my scream and came running. "If I hadn't stopped them when I did . . ." Kabuto trailed off.

I looked down on Sasuke's disapproving glare. "Sorry Sasuke." Sakura and I apologized while Naruto grunted in agreement.

"There are others that have also tried to take a peek at the scrolls. I've seen what happens to them. They're protected by a powerful hypnosis jutsu. The kind that's a booby trap for anyone unwise enough to try and read them."

Now I felt bad.

"Kabuto right? We met at the registration. What are you doing wandering around all by yourself?" Sasuke questioned. "Don't worry I'm not after your Earth Scroll." Kabuto said. Sasuke tightened his grip on my and looked at Naruto and Sakura.

"I guess not. If you were, you would have just swiped it from Naruto when you had the chance. So you're looking for a Heaven Scroll too huh?" Sasuke asked.

However Kabuto had that arrogance about him. "Not really. You see I already have them both." Kabuto pulled out both scrolls.

We tensed at the sight of the Heaven Scroll. Kabuto then said he was going to meet with his teammates at the tower when Sasuke stopped him. "Hold it. I'll fight you for it." Now I looked between both cautiously.

Kabuto and he had a stare down. I froze and turned swiftly to the left. I could smell and see some chakra not far. I squinted my eyes and saw a ninja. Maybe . . . I launched that way. "Miyu?"

I ignored my friends and ran after the ninja. "MIYU!" Sasuke shouted. I jumped around. I had lost sight of him.

Damn. I tensed and felt chakra from the ground. So he's underground huh? "Miyu you can't run off like that." I turned to see Kabuto and my team jump down. I looked back at the ground. Damn. He moved while I was distracted.

"Miyu?" Sakura asked. I blinked and looked back and smiled. "Sorry about that. Thought I saw something."

Naruto and Sakura relaxed, Sasuke looked skeptical, and Kabuto looked like he knew.

So we headed out. Kabuto's plan is to attack those by the tower with both scrolls. It was actually a really good plan. And Kabuto is warning us and other stuff.

Sasuke called Kabuto out that he was taking us with him because he's frightened. Kabuto agreed but I doubted it. He is a very sketchy person, but if we get a scroll who cares?

Not me.

A creepy sensation overwhelmed me and I turned fast and it made Naruto throw a kunai. A giant . . . shivers went up my spine and I scooted behind my brother in fright. It's a huge bug!

"Hey Naruto. Do us a favor and try to keep it down to a dull roar will you? See the whole idea is to not let anyone know we're here. If you go crashing through the forest like an elephant you're going to gather collectors like flies. We want to find them before they find us."

So we're taking it slow. So we split up and traveled quietly for a bit before regrouping as we headed towards the tower. Naruto tripped over a vine.

Wait a second. I jumped on top of my brother and shielded him as much as I could but no pain came. I looked to see Kabuto take the brute of the weapons but he then turned into a log. "Well that was close."

We turned to see Kabuto in a tree. I got off of Naruto and helped him up. Sasuke immediately glared at me and I sweat dropped.

Well he's not happy I used myself as a shield. He hates it when I do that.

We walked and walked and walked for such a long time. We were panting a bit and I groaned. Why aren't we going? Of course . . . gen freaking jutsu!

And Kabuto and Sasuke knew it. He showed us with the giant centipede. This may take a while. My vision blurred and the mark on my neck burned. Ah crap. It's acting up . . . again.

I swayed on my feet just as dozen of clones came out. Shoot. I can't . . . I fell sideways to be caught by Sasuke.

Ah crap.
