The Final Decision: Miyuna Uzumaki . . .

"Rasengan!" I shouted, slamming the sphere of chakra into Haru's chest. His eyes widened and he spewed up some blood, before the attack spun him back, and straight into a large boulder, breaking it into pebbles. I watched in a mix of awe and surprise. I didn't think I would have been able to create it.

Quickly snapping out of my stare, I Flash Stepped over to him and slammed my fist further onto his injury, furthering the damage. The jutsu had ripped his shirt apart and left a familiar mark of it's presence on his chest.

He groaned in pain and I quickly kneeled next to him, kunai tight against his throat, cutting it slightly. "Now, while I'm asking nicely, I suggest you stay away. You are not taking Sasuke." I growled out. Haru opened his eyes, pain in them. He breathed heavily, trying to regain his breathing. I had injured his chest heavily, so he was having difficulties. "Damn, that's new." He grumbled to himself before giving me a hard stare.

"You think just because I'm down for a moment that it will change anything? Do you really know nothing at all? Even if you and your friends take out all these guys, do you think he'll just willingly go back? You're an idiot. He chose this." He's right. His words, although I don't want to hear, they are true.

Keeping a calm exterior, I continued staring into his eyes. "I'm taking him back." I stated, leaving no room for debate. He continued to stare at me. "He's that important to you huh?" I blinked in surprise. I had kept my emotions in our battle relatively under wraps. The most my growling at him could have been mistaken for agitation from being injured by him. "I told you before. Love makes one strong. I know this very well." He continued, bringing me out of my thoughts.

I moved my blade closer to his neck, making a small red line where the knife's pressure is. "No matter what happens, Sasuke will continue to search out Lord Orochimaru. You're little mission here is pointless. You probably killed your friends." My chest clenched painfully at the thought of my friends in a pool of their own blood.

Pulling out another kunai, I stabbed it into his arm, making him bite his lip to muffle a scream of pain. "I'd watch what you say." I said, a cool and emotionless mask on my face. "I didn't ask your opinion. A mission is a mission. However I have no problems killing you right here right now. You're getting on my nerves." I stated. Haru just pursed his lips at me.

"I know what it's like to lose someone you love to Orochimaru." What? I narrowed my eyes in suspicion and dug the knife in more into his neck. "What are you talking about?" I hissed out. What's he getting about? Careful of the knife, he looked at me seriously. And it was then I noticed that his stare on me wasn't of that of an enemy. But someone who is giving me advice.

"You think I like obeying him? Yeah, I owe him a great deal, but I don't enjoy being with him. The only reason I am there with him and degrading myself to his dirty work is because Karin is there." I shook my head at his words. "Wait, but you seem really loyal to him. And you kind of said you were his lover." I pointed out, remembering the embarrassing moment during the Chunin Exams.

He rolled his eyes at me. "Yeah, I know. But I'm his loyal servant. I've been with the man for a long time. And when I left, she went to him. So I returned. I understand how you feel. That's why I came. I wasn't sent here. I came on my own will without telling Four Eyes. I came to talk to you." He clarified. His dark eyes held no deception in his eyes. And my gut is telling me he's telling the truth. I trust myself.

I slowly removed my kunai from him, and moved back a bit, allowing him to sit up. He winced as he did so. He pulled out the one I had stabbed into his arm and placed his hand to his chest, wincing again. "Damn, that was some jutsu." He complimented, sort of. I rolled my eyes at his comment.

"So, you came here to talk to me?" I clarified. He nodded, turning serious. "Yes. Look, I don't hate you. You're the only one other then Four Eyes to hold your own against me. You're strong, and loyal. Both are traits I respect. I happened to overhear Orochimaru and Kabuto speaking about the new vessel. And how he is your boyfriend." So even bad guys gossip huh? That's kind of lame.

But oddly amusing to picture. "I knew you'd come after and so I came. He's not going to stop. He won't go back with you. Karin didn't." I raised an eyebrow before they furrowed in confusion. "Wait, if you don't want your girlfriend around him, why not keep her away?" I questioned.

He sighed and looked up, as if seeing the events again right in front of him. "I tried. But she feels greatly indebted to him as well. No matter how much I warned her, she ignored me and went off on her own. And she's not my girlfriend. Just a childhood friend that I so happen to love." Went on her own?

An image of Sasuke popped into my mind. His face conflicted as I had begged him to stay. Then the determination in his eyes as he made up his mind and knocking me out. He had left me. "He did the same. No matter what you say, no matter how much you beg, he's not going back. I know from experience." He's right. Sasuke isn't going to come back, not willingly.

Even if we did bring him back, he'd just leave again. I begged and pleaded with him. And he still didn't stop. So that's it? I'll never see Sasuke again? Leave him to Orochimaru? Leave him to die? "He's too late to become the new vessel. He's got three years before Orochimaru uses him as the vessel. He might regain his senses, but I highly doubt it. But what I do know is that he's coming to him for strength. And as an Uchiha, he'll become incredibly strong in three years. Maybe enough to regain some sense."

I shook my head. "No, I don't think he'll ever come back to the Leaf. Get power, kill Itachi. That's all he's ever thought about. That's all he cares about. The only future he thinks of." I mumbled in sadness, thinking back to when we were kids, before the massacre.

"You should come with him. Orochimaru thinks you might." He suggested. I looked back at him like he was insane. "Leave the Leaf? Leave my friends? My brother? My twin brother? The Leaf is my home. I can't just up and leave it." I told him, thinking back to everything I have finally gathered.

After so many years, I was finally able to see the Leaf as my home. I see the annoying bunch as friends, good friends. I was finally able to become happy there, with all of them. I can't leave it all. A place where I feel I belong. Surrounded by those I care about and who care about me. That was my dream growing up. And I have it now.

"Or you could forget about him. But as of now, you and he are enemies whether you like it or not. I didn't expect you to leave your life. I didn't come here to tell you to leave. I came to tell you to give up your feeling of him. If you continue to love him, you'll only get even more hurt."

I stared at him intently. Why? Why is he being so nice? Why would he come all the way here just to tell me to give up before I get hurt? What's with him? "Why?" I whispered. He sighed sadly. "Because, I know what it feels like. Sometimes I believe it would have been easier to give Karin up. I finally left that place. But I've loved her for so long, I couldn't simply forget her. But you, you still have a chance. Turn back. Get your friends and never look back. Because you won't find him there." He whispered the last part.

I sat there, letting the words sink in. He's absolutely right. Sasuke . . . he's different. He won't turn back. And in three years, he'll be gone altogether. Is this it? He's no longer going to be in my life.

I can't let that happen. But he won't come back. Then that means I have to protect him. But then that means I'd be leaving my brother, and the life I dreamed of here. No matter what, I lose.

I ran quickly to where I sensed the two. Naruto and Sasuke. I've been feeling it for a while now. Their chakra's battling it out. As soon as I broke through the clearing, I took in my surrounding. I stood in front of a waterfall, two carving of ninja on either side of the falls. They look oddly familiar. Ah! That's the First Hokage. A steady waterfall fell between them, the blue water dull as the sky had clouded over a while ago. The carvings and the water are eye catching, but what's the most eye catching was the two who were battling it out.

I recognized Naruto immediately as one person. His blue eyes were blood red, his whiskers are darker then usual. He has fangs protruding from his lips, his upper lip curled back in a snarl. His fingers sharp like claws. And an orange chakra coated him completely, but it was formed into a shape of a fox.

The other person, I really didn't want to be real. His usual pale skin is a strange gray color, two giant hands like wings protruded obscenely from his back, his fingernails are sharp as talons, his usual dark hair is a grayish blue and has somehow grew, a black cross is on his face, the whites of his eyes are pitch black, and his Sharingan is activated.

I don't even recognize him anymore. If it weren't for his clothes and his Sharingan, I wouldn't know. "Miyuna!" I glanced back to see Shikamaru, Kiba, and Akamaru. All of them injured. "What the . . ." Shikamaru trailed off, watching the scene in disbelief and mild horror.

I turned my attention back, captivated by the scene. The two were battling it out with extreme power. I couldn't interfere. Both of them are on higher levels then me. I can't butt in a battle I have no chance of winning. So I watched. The two lunged at each other. Lightning sparked in Sasuke's hand and wind and chakra gathered in Naruto's. Time seemed to slow as the two neared the center of the waterfall, their jutsu's ready. I stood tall, fighting back tears and ignoring the crushing pain in my chest.

"Rasengan!"

"Chidori!"

The two shouted, clashing their jutsu's. The intensity of it created a bright and blinding light, making us shield our eyes. The wind whipped wildly at the intensity the two jutsu's created and the water moved rapidly as parts of the cliff broke off. I opened my eyes and peered into the light, spotting the two.

Naruto had a large wound in his chest, the Nine Tails chakra going down. He looks tired. Exhausted. And Sasuke . . . past his mix of emotions, I can see regret. I stood there, my chest twisting in agony. No.

My bottom lip quivered as the urge to sob was caught in my throat. The two fell into the water and the light dispersed. Sasuke emerged, looking more human then before. He's panting heavily; Naruto had done some damage to him. After regaining his breath, he pulled himself out of the water completely.

Naruto soon floated to the top. Sasuke gazed at him before walking over. Once reaching Naruto, he scooped him up into his arms, and began to carry him out of the water and onto shore. The four of us watched the scene, still trying to comprehend the situation. What little of the battle we witnessed was too much as it is.

"Sasuke!" Kiba shouted in rage. Sasuke glanced at us, a tired look on his face as well. "How could you do this to Naruto?!" He roared, outraged by what he witnessed. And what he had witnessed was him piercing my brother's chest.

Shikamaru shook his head. "What did you do?" He asked. My gaze went to my brother. It would be hard to tell, but Tsunade did teach me much in the medical field. Sasuke missed his heart on purpose. I was able to see it through the light. He changed his strike in the last second. Naruto is still alive.

As long as he's alive, that's all that I need.

"Ah, ah. This sure is troublesome. I was sure those losers would keep you guys busy. But they're as useless as ever." I could feel the boys gazing at my back. Their confusion is very palpable. "What?" Kiba asked in confusion.

Putting away my emotions, I put on a smirk and turned to the boys who were looking at me in shock. "I really had high hopes that you two would be incapacitated. You coming here was not part of the plan." I sighed, shaking my head in disappointment. Kiba's confusion didn't leave, but anger became evident on his face. "What? Miyu, were you in on this?" He growled out.

I smirked before laughing. Laughing very menacingly. "You really are stupid aren't you dog boy. What? Did you really think I'd play friends with you?" I asked him harshly. He looked so dumbfounded, even Shikamaru before recognition flashing through his eyes.

"So you were in on it?! Look what happened! To Choji, Neji, look at Naruto! Your brother! Are you saying that you caring about us, all of us, was all just a big lie?! The Lead is your home! And we're your family!" He shouted at me. I kept my smirk.

"Did you really believe I'd be friends with a bunch of morons like you?" My smirk fell as I looked at him with narrowed eyes. "The Leaf was never my home. All my life I was treated like dirt, like scum. As if I was nothing. Why would I care about a place that abandoned me?" I asked.

He just looked so dumbfounded. "I hate the Leaf. And I hate everyone in it. For giving me hell all these years. For abusing me. They tortured me for years. They still do. For all I care, the Leaf can burn to the ground like the garbage they are." I hissed, returning to my old state.

Shikamaru shook his head, unbelieving. I glanced at Naruto and sighed. "I am sad to see Naruto go. He is my big brother. I didn't want to see him die. But I suppose this is best for me. No more connections to that damn place." I growled before turning back to them. Smirking, I Flash Stepped behind Kiba and grabbed his arm.

Bringing it up quickly, I placed one hand below his elbow an the other on his forearm and pressed. Kiba let out a shout of my as I shattered the bones. I threw him to the ground and pulled out a kunai, throwing it down, making it stick out of his leg. He howled in pain and I laughed. "I was hopping you'd think I died against Haru. Oh well. If the others survived, they should be able to come up with that. As for you two. Well I can't have you telling them I'm alive. Looks like those losers wore you out."

I walked around Kiba, who was crawling away from me. "Like this, you'll be easy to take out." I stomped on his back, making him scream in agony. "Miyuna!" Shikamaru put his hands to weave a sign. My chains exited my back and wrapped around him tightly, making him let out a shout of pain.

"You'd kill us? How could you? How could you betray us?" Kiba gasped out as I applied more pressure on his back. Taking my foot off his back, I grabbed a handful of his hair and jerked his head up, putting my mouth to his ear. "Get this through your thick skull Inuzuka. I was never on your side." With that said, I slammed his face into the ground, knocking him out.

I pulled out a kunai and stabbed into his back for effective measures. Akamaru barked at me, but was too injured to attack me. So I turned to Shikamaru. "It doesn't have to be this way." He spoke as I walked over to him.

I stared at him intently. I think, other then Naruto, I'll miss him most. "Yes. It does." I made the chains tighten enough to make him pass out. I then dropped him onto the ground.

"Why'd you lie?" Sasuke's voice came out raspy. I turned to him, to see him struggling to keep standing. "Because. If I didn't I wouldn't be able to come with you in peace." His eyes widened slightly at my words. "What? You're coming?" Smiling, I Flashed Stepped to him, throwing his arm over my shoulder.

My mind was already made up. "Yes. I'll always be with you Sasuke." He stared at me for a while. A ghost of a smile made its way onto his face before he passed out. Sighing, I adjusted him so he's on my back. "Seems like you've done it." Haru spoke.

I turned slightly to see him standing a bit behind me. The two of us stared at each other, speaking with our eyes. I turned back around. "Just take me to Orochimaru."

~Earlier~

No matter the choice I'd lose. But, there is one thing I can do. I looked back at Haru. "Sasuke needs me more then the village. So I'll go with him. But I'm not going to let him become Orochimaru's vessel. I won't allow Orochimaru to continue with his crimes." Haru raised an eyebrow at my claim. "Going with him means throwing your life away. Can you do that?"

I nodded, already accepting the consequences. "I'm staying with Sasuke. And I'm taking down Orochimaru." His eyes widened slightly at my claim. "How the hell are you going to do that?" How indeed? Well, I already know how. Looking into Haru's eyes, I spoke.

~Present~

"The path you chose is a long and painful one. You're now an enemy of the Leaf. Are you a masochist?" He asked. Although he meant to lighten up the mood, I could hear the sincerity in his voice as he spoke to me. "Maybe I am. But that's love for you."

He smiled lightly at me, but I could see pity in his eyes. Then another look. "I will follow you on this journey. Consider me your right hand man from now on." I nodded, continuing on our journey. No matter what, I will protect everything I love. Even if I become the enemy of my home. With that in mind, I continued walking, to the path of pain and misery.

Not looking back, I left everything I love behind, and entered a new world of darkness.
