We continued to stare at the foreign shinobi. And kitty boy was trying to put the blame on us. "Shut up. Or I'll kill you."

Well. Aren't you a little ray of sunshine? Not. Gaara turned to us. "I'm sorry for any trouble he's caused." You liar. He studied Sasuke and me for a bit. I tilted to my head to the side. He's extremely frightening but yet intriguing. I couldn't quite look away from him.

He suddenly dispersed into sand and rematerialized beside his team. "Let's go. We didn't come here to play games." He said and walked pass his team.

I frowned and sniffed the air. His sand smells like . . . blood. Huh. He sure is a strange one. Sakura ran forward a bit. Oh great. "Hold on! Hey!" she demanded.

They stepped and the blonde girl from their team spoke. "What?" They didn't even turn around. Psh. Jerks. "I can tell from your hand bands that you come from the Village Hidden in the Sand. Of course the Land of Fire and the Land of Wind are allies, but no shinobi can enter another's village without permission. So state your purpose."

"Sure Sakura. Kitty boy picks on a kid but you're concerned about their permission slips." I muttered sarcastically.

Sakura turned and sent me a glare and I held my hands up in surrender. "Really? Have you all been living under a rock or what? You don't know what's going on do you? We have permission."

She held up a pass. Hm. Well that's weird. "Of course you're correct. We are Hidden Sand shinobi. Our home is the Land of the Wind. And we're here for the chunin exams. Get the picture?"

God she's a snob. "The chunin exams? What's that? I've never heard of any chunin exams believe it." I fell to the ground hard. Oh this is ridiculous. I glared at my brother. He jumped and moved back to get out of my wrath. "God damn it Naruto you- how could you- you insufferable- AHG!"

I'm going to kill him! Sasuke gave my hand a squeeze before letting go again. I groaned and rubbed my head as Konohamaru explained it to Naruto.

"Oh I believe it alright. You're totally clueless." I shot a glare at the girl. "Watch it kid or I'll punch you straight out of this village." I seethed.

She flinched back a bit but didn't back down more. I smirked. What now. As soon as Konohamaru finished explaining Naruto was fired up.

So the three started walking away. "Hey, you! Identify yourself." Sasuke stepped up. The group stopped again and turned back at us. The girl turned and pointed to herself smiling. "Hm? You mean me?" she asked hopefully.

"No. Him. The guy with the gourd on his back." Ha! Shot down. I snickered a bit. "My name is Gaara of the desert. I'm curious about you. Who are you?"

Sasuke smirked. Gah. I like his smile better. "I am Sasuke Uchiha." Gaara then turned his gaze to me. Eh? He wants to know my name too? "I'm Miyuna Uzumaki. It's nice to meet you Gaara. Not so much your bitch and the girl."

And boy did that piss off kitty boy. I giggled and felt myself being pushed behind someone. Huh? Sasuke had pushed me behind him. Well then. This isn't weird at all. Not.

What's wrong with him? I looked around him to see him and Gaara in a stare off. I shivered at the tension in the air.

"Hi there! I bet you're dying to know my name right?" Naruto asked cheekily. "I couldn't care less."

I frowned but didn't say anything. Instead I watched them turn and start to leave. Sasuke just smirked. I sighed. He's going to get competitive again.

I sweat dropped as Konohamaru deadpanned about how compared to Sasuke Naruto's lame. That's when I noticed three other chakra's nearby and I turned fast in the direction.

I could vaguely see three people in a tree a bit away. They were watching us. I met the eyes of them. I shivered. They seemed . . . dangerous too.

Sasuke grabbed my hand and dragged me away from the others while Sakura was yelling at Naruto for something.

So we headed back home.

I glanced at my hand that was still in Sasuke's. "Uh, Sasuke, you can let go of my hand." I said. He stopped and let go. A tint of pink on his cheeks. "Whatever."

I couldn't help but laugh. I bumped his shoulder and we continued walking. "So what do you think we're doing tomorrow? Kakashi only told us to meet up on the little bridge."

He shrugged as we kept on walking. I wonder what we'll do. "Miyu?"

"Hm? What is it Sas-" My eyes widened.

We waited on the bridge for Kakashi. And of course he's late. I woke up so early I forgot to tie my hair up.

Sakura and Naruto were yelling about him being late. I glanced at Sasuke as they were shouting. "First thing in the morning and they're already driving me nuts." Sasuke muttered before glancing my way.

I blushed and looked down. Ah crap. It's that stupid Uchiha's fault. What was he thinking?

~Yesterday~

"Hm? What is it Sas-"

My eyes widened. Sasuke. He's kissing me. On the lips! What the hell?! This escalated quickly! I don't know what to do damn it!

He pulled away. He was also blushing. So we stood there before he grabbed my hand and walked me home.

~Back to today~

I glanced back at Sasuke. He was still staring at me intently. The familiar poof was heard and Sasuke and I gained irk marks and we glared at our sensei.

And of course we were given a lame excuse. "I know this is a bit sudden but I recommended you for the chunin exams. All four of you. These are the application forms."

He handed us the forms. Naruto cheered and jumped and hugged Kakashi around his neck. "Hey don't slobber on my vest."

I frowned. "Naruto doesn't slobber anymore. We fixed that issue a long time ago." I stated. Everyone sweat dropped and Naruto blushed. Apparently we had to get ready within five days. And Naruto was cheering 'Chunin Exams'.

Hm. Chunin exams huh? I'll have to watch out after Naruto more closely.

Throughout the days I've noticed more and more ninja's from foreign lands appearing.

In fact, it seems to be a bit weirder around here. I feel as if someone's watching me. Earlier on today Naruto left for a walk. Something about seeing Konohamaru.

So I decided to see if I could find Sasuke. I'm not sure what to make of our . . . relationship. I don't know what's going on actually.

I saw Sasuke walking towards the river. "Hey Sasuke-"

I stopped when I noticed him walking with Sakura. Hm? That's strange. He doesn't particularly like being alone with her. He complains that she's too clingy and he's sure she'd kiss him if he was caught off guard.

Maybe he's giving her advice for the exams. Oh well. I turned and started walking in the woods. I still felt like I was being watched.

So I basically just wanted to call the person out. And when I did, well he smelt familiar. And his chakra looked familiar as well.

I tilted my head to the side. "Iruka why are you using the transformation jutsu?" I asked. He smiled. "Well I guess I couldn't hide from you. Kakashi told me about your ability to see chakra and even smell it. I just wanted to test you guys out and see if you're ready for the exams."

He then attacked me.

"Well it's about time." I said as Sakura finally arrived. She smiled nervously. "Don't worry Sakura, you'll be fine." I said reassuringly.

It's the day of the exams. She looked at Sasuke a tad worriedly. I wonder what Iruka did to her. Probably some genjutsu that involves Sasuke dying.

I just smiled and hooked my arm through hers and started walking inside. There was a large crowd. What the?

Some kid with a bowl cut was punched away. I frowned and pushed my way through the crowd despite Sasuke and Naruto's protests. I stepped and kneeled in front of the bruised kid. "Are you okay?" I asked.

He looked at me and nodded. I smiled. "That's good. Hey, fighting is a no-no." I stated facing the two guys by the door.

"Fighting is a no-no? This a chunin exam not a picnic." One walked up and pushed me a bit. I narrowed my eyes dangerously at him. "Do it again, I dare you."

He smirked and went to push me again. Before I could be pushed, or hit him, Sasuke grabbed my arm and pulled me back. "It's not worth our time. Now reverse the genjutsu. We can see right through your illusion anyway. We're going to the third floor."

Huh. No wonder the stairs were weird. I didn't even notice it. "Well, well. You noticed the genjutsu."

Sasuke turned to Sakura. "Go ahead and tell them Sakura. I'm sure you saw it before anyone else did."

"Huh?"

I snickered. So Sasuke has gotten warmed up to both of them. That's good. "You have the sharpest eyes and he best analytical eyes in the squad. You must have seen it coming a mile away."

"I must have? Well sure. Of course I spotted it right away. This is the second floor." Liar. Naruto nodded as well. Yeah I know you didn't get it either.

"Well aren't we the smart ones. So you noticed an illusion. Now let's see you deal with this!" one guy went to kick Sasuke. Of course Sasuke saw it and went to kick as well.

I frowned and moved in between them. Sasuke stopped and fell when he stopped suddenly. "Miyu!" The other kid didn't stop though. I was going to deal with him but the kid in the green jumpsuit and bowl cut stopped his leg from hitting me.

Well now. He's not as weak as I thought he was. He's fast and his bruises are gone. A Hyuga and a girl with twin buns walked over to him and I walked to stand next to Sakura. "Hey what happened to the plan? I thought you were the one to say keep a low profile, don't let anyone see our skill level."

Hm. The Hyūga's chakra was great, but the jumpsuit guy . . . not so much. This is weird because he seems strong too. The girl . . . well she's better than Sakura but still pretty average.

"I know but . . ." He looked over to Sakura and me. Determination in his eyes and a light blush on his cheeks. His eyebrows are also a bit . . . bushy.

What's up with him? He walked straight to Sakura and me. I stared at him. "My name is Rock Lee. You are Miyu and Sakura, right?"

I raised an eyebrow. "Please be my girlfriend. I vow to protect you with my life." Who's he talking to? "Defiantly not." Sakura rejected.

Lee looked rejected. Well he is . . . "But why?" He asked all bummed out. "Because you're a weirdo." She responded. I snorted. "Pot calling the kettle black." I muttered. She glared at me and I held my hands up in surrender.

Lee looked down before looking at me hopefully. My eye twitched. "Uhm . . . I actually . . . like someone else."

His eyes held stars in them. "I can change that! Just wait and see!" I sweat dropped. I'm not sure what to make of him. "Hey you, over there." The Hyuga called.

He and the girl walked over to us. The Hyuga was looking at Sasuke. "What's your name?" he asked Sasuke. Well Naruto looked pissed. Probably because this is the second person to ask Sasuke and not him.

"It's common courtesy to give your own name before asking someone else's." Sasuke replied

"Hey you're a rookie aren't you? How old are you anyway?" The Hyuga continued. "I'm not obliged to answer."

I groaned and smacked my hand to my face. Way to go Sasuke. Make enemies during the exam. Real smart. Not. "What's that?" The Hyuga was not pleased.

The girl behind giggled. Oh my god it's just a repeat!

Sasuke ignore him and grabbed my arm as he dragged me away from the scene. Sakura and Naruto following after.

So we walked up the stairs and towards the exam room.

The chunin exams huh? I wonder how things will play out.
