We stood in front of Kakashi. This is weird. It's weird enough having him up this early and weird that he's here. "I'm glad you came Sakura. For your sake and the others." . . . What?

"Now you can all formally apply for the exams." I'm a little lost here. "Well, I guess it wouldn't be affected with this team, but only groups of three can apply for and take the exams. That's the way it's always been."

I frowned and furrowed my eyebrows. This makes no sense. Why didn't he tell us this? Apparently he told us a sort of lie. He didn't want us to feel obliged to because of our feelings or have Naruto or Sasuke pressuring us into joining.

Does he really think they would . . . never mind they so would. And Sakura would do it just for Sasuke and I'd do it for Naruto . . . and I guess Sasuke.

"Wait a minute; we're a team of four. Is this even allowed?" I asked. Kakashi's facial expressions didn't change. "It's allowed because this is squad seven." Okay then.

I suppose I understand. "Miyuna, Sakura, Naruto, and Sasuke . . . I'm proud of you. I couldn't have asked for a better team."

Those words made a bubbly feeling in my chest. I've never heard someone saying their proud of me. It feels nice.

Kakashi stepped aside and we now faced the door to the exam room. "Good luck."

"We won't let you down sensei, believe it!" I grinned and gave Kakashi a victory sign. We'll do everything we can to pass. We opened the door and walked in.

This is it.

Inside the room was a bunch of sketchy, frightening looking genin. But they're so old. Not like grandpa old but they look like they should already be chunin or jonin. They sort of reminded me of bullies that picked on Naruto so I unconsciously stepped in front of Naruto and had my guard up.

What? I'm an overprotective sister!

And let's just say Sakura was intimidated. "Sasuke where have you been?!" A familiar shrill voice called. Uh-oh. Things are about to get loud.

Ino jumped on Sasuke's back and wrapped her arms around his neck. She looked at him dreamily as she talked and he looked annoyed.

I stifled a laugh by covering my mouth with my hand. Sasuke shot me a glare and I smiled sheepishly. What? It's hilarious!

Sakura got pissed. "Hey back off you porker he's mine!" I sweat dropped. I knew this would happen. "Miss Forehead they let you in? You still have those big frown lines on your billboard brow I see."

Oh boy. I don't know what's worse, my team or Ino and Sakura. "Oh it's you guys."

We turned to see Shikamaru and Choji. I smiled and walked over to Choji. "So you're taking the exams too huh? Cool. Can I have a chip?" I asked.

Choji grabbed a chip and gave me one. I smiled and ate it. I noticed Shikamaru staring. "What?" I asked. He shrugged. "You never really smiled at anyone in the academy except Naruto."

I shrugged in return. "Nobody really gave me a reason for it." I stated as if it were obvious. Naruto said something that made Shikamaru mad but he merely said Naruto's a waste of time.

I ignored it because Naruto picked the fight. "Well, well. It looks like the whole gangs back together again." Kiba's team walked up. I stared at Kiba as Hinata spoke.

He raised an eyebrow at me. "What?" I didn't say anything. Instead I walked up to him and opened his mouth to a grin. "Huh. He's even got dog like teeth. Called it." I said to Naruto as I released Kiba's mouth.

I smirked at my brother as he threw 500 yen at me. I grinned as I caught it. Kiba sweat dropped. What? I like gambling.

He just shook his head. "Yep. Here we all are. The ten rookies." Kiba laughed. For some reason . . . I think I'd go insane if I had to be stuck in a room with the nine of them for a day. I can barely handle my group. It's not like I hate them, but they tend to get on my nerves a lot.

And I mean a lot. "This is going to be fun. At least for those good enough to make the cut. Right Sasuke?"

I frowned and tugged on Sasuke's arm warmers. "Why does everyone think you're so strong? If you ask me you're a bit above average- ow! Hey! Quit doing that!" I rubbed my forehead he flicked. He merely gave me a smirk smile before just plain on smirking at Kiba.

"Kiba, careful you don't get over confident."

"Just wait. We're going to blow you guys away. We've been training like crazy."

"What do you think we've been doing? Sitting around picking daisies? You don't know what training means." Naruto shouted. I groaned. Not this macho thing again.

I pulled on both Naruto's and Sasuke's ears. "OW!" they both yelled. I glared at both. "I am not dealing with this Alpha male thing anymore. It's starting to get on my nerves. Now knock it off!"

I pulled down hard and released. Naruto fell and Sasuke stumbled. Sakura went to hit me upside the head. I merely closed my eyes and moved to the side.

She fell.

Silence filled our little group. "Well that was interesting." Shikamaru said. I shrugged. Sakura, Naruto, and even Sasuke glared at me.

I chose to ignore them and stared at a wall with interest. Shino stopped Choji from stepping on a bug. I sweat dropped. "You were thinking about eating Akamaru again weren't you." Choji jumped up at my words.

Kiba shot him a dirty glare.

"Hey, you guys." We looked to see a guy with silver hair walk our way. He wore a lot of purple and stupid looking glasses.

His chakra's . . . weird. And he smells like a hospital. "You might try keeping it down a little. I mean, no offense, but you're the ten rookies right? Fresh out of the academy? I wouldn't go making a spectacle of yourselves. Just cool it. This isn't a class field trip."

He seems a bit snooty. And a jerk. And his chakra smells weird. It smells like hospital, but it's mixed with something else.

"Well who asked you?! Who are you anyway?" Ino asked. The guy smirked. "I'm Kabuto Yakushi. But really, look around you."

We did so. And all the other examinees were glaring at us. My overprotective sister instincts kicked in and I stood protectively in front of Naruto and shot them a warning glare.

Over protective sister. I will not apologize for it. So he started talking and the more he talked the more it pissed me off.

Sakura asked if this was his first time. "No it's . . . my seventh." A laugh escaped me and I slapped my hand over my mouth to stop my other laughs from escaping. Everyone looked at me and it was getting harder to keep in my laughs.

So I let go of my mouth only to have Sasuke behind me put his hand over my mouth. I furrowed my eyebrows. "Mmm mhm mhmmm mhmh mmm mhm!"

"Because you can't keep in your laughs." Huh. He understood me. I thought it over. He's right. So then Kabuto pulled out something he calls ninja info cards. If you ask me he's a stalker.

He then did a little trivia with us about nations and other stuff. I zoned him out actually. I don't listen to conceited jerks that aren't on my team. So I ignored him.

Then Sasuke asked about individual info and I almost groaned. "Gaara of the desert and Rock Lee of the leaf while you're at it."

"Man that's no fun you even know their names. That makes it easy." I am going to hurt them I really am.

Kabuto swiped his hand over the deck of cards twice and pulled out two. Sasuke became serious and I sighed. Naruto tried to look like he knew what was going on but I know he has no clue. He pulled out Lee's first.

"Looks like he's about a year older then you guys. Mission experience 11 C-ranked and 20 D-ranked. His squad leader is Guy and in the last twelve months his taijutsu has radically improved. But his other skills are pretty shaky."

"Last year he got a lot of attention as a genin but for some reason he chose to not participate in the chunin exam. This'll be his first time as a candidate just like you guys. His teammates are Ten-Ten and Neji Hyuga."

I looked at Hinata. I'm worried. "Okay now for Gaara of the Desert. Mission experience 8 C-ranks and 1 B-rank as a genin. There's not a lot of information on this guy. He's a rookie from another land originally. But there is this; he survived every mission without getting a scratch on him."

Hm. Seems about right. Gaara radiates danger and intent to kill. He's a strange little guy. Everyone seemed so surprised. I don't know why.

Kabuto started talking about the small Sound Village. The girls were losing confidence. Although Ino was trying to hide it, Hinata and Sakura were a bit nervous.

Then he told us how this will be a difficult year.

Maybe he's right. So I guess I better be on high alert. Naruto was shaking and I stood by him worriedly. Was he afraid? I leaned closer to him. "Hey Naruto, are you ok-"

"RAAAA!" He yelled. I yelped and fell backwards and landed on my butt. "My name's Naruto Uzumaki! And I'm going to beat every one of ya!" He shouted.

An irk mark appeared on my head and I put my forearm against his neck and held it with my other arm and had him in a choke hold!

"God damn you Naruto! How the hell am I supposed to look after you if you piss off all the freaks here?! Do you know how much harder this is going to be you little twerp! I swear you guys and your macho crap! It's pissing me off!"

He let out strangled sounds as I choked him. Finally he went limp and I let him go. He hit the floor and I smirked. Serves him right.

I felt the hate in the room intensify and looked up. They don't look happy. Probably shouldn't have called them freaks. Oh well.

I'm not going to yell at them. Probably.

I scrunched my nose. So many scents in the room. I can't distinguish anything through this vast of smells. Although one smelt like anesthetics and blood.

It's not sitting well with me.

Sakura tried to wave it off but everyone turned to us. Okay now I'm irritated. "What?! You're annoying glares are pissing me off! Well?! What are you going to do?! You don't scare me! Bring it!" I snarled.

Some flinched back from my tone and some just glared harder. But otherwise they did nothing. "That's what I thought."

Then I glared at Naruto. "This is your fault! You illiterate, inconsiderate, obnoxious brat!" Naruto hid behind Sakura and I took a deep breath to relax. And it did just that.

Sasuke walked up next to me. "Better?" I smiled cheerfully. "Yep!" I sang. My friends sweat dropped at me.

I felt a bit of danger and moved away from Kabuto. The same people from the tree appeared and attacked Kabuto.

The mummy man went to punch Kabuto. He evaded it, but I think I saw something wavy hit him. His glasses shattered. He seemed otherwise unscathed. But he fell to the floor and threw up.

What did he do though? I glared at the ninja. "First you spy on us and then you attack for no apparent reason?" They turned to me and the one with spiky hair gave me a sadistic grin and he stepped closer.

Sasuke grabbed my arm and pushed me behind him. The spiky haired guy just stared at him before looking over at Kabuto. Mummy man and the girl did as well.

Well aren't they a bucket of sunshine. Not. Those insensitive jerks. "Write this on your little card punk. The genin from the Sound Village will be chunin when this is over. Guaranteed."

I snorted. "I don't know. You're kind of scraggly looking." I muttered. Sasuke only covered my mouth with his hand. My eye twitched and I looked at him. But he was too busy glaring at the spiky haired guy. What's up with him?

POOF! "Alright you baby faced degenerates! Pipe down and listen up!" As the smoke disappeared a scared man wearing black stood in the front along with some chunin. "It's time to begin. I'm Ibiki Morino, your proctor. And from this moment your worst enemy."

Well isn't everyone just a basket full of sunshine.
