A Fierce Battle of Rolling Thunder!
I sweat dropped at the sight in front of me. There are so many steps to these stairs! "You're kidding me. How does he do it?" Sakura asked, out of breath. I stood between the two and watched my brother run up the steps, Idate on his back.
I shrugged, baffled by it. "Well no one ever accused that kid of not having energy." Sasuke stated. The two began to run after but stopped, seeing as I wasn't following. "Miyu?" Sakura asked curiously.
I laughed a bit. "Yeah, I don't do stairs. I'll just Flash Step when Naruto makes it to the top." They both shot me a glare. "Miyuna." Sasuke warned.
I sighed loudly. "Fine." I grumbled, running up the steps after them. This is just great. Stairs, there had to be stairs! And to top it all off it's called the Spirit Breaker!
Stupid grandma Tsunade.
After a bit, I easily surpassed Sakura and ran beside Sasuke. "You just have to make me run." I grumbled. He sent me a cocky smirk. "Oh, the tragedy." My temple throbbed in annoyance. Still running, I reached over and pinched his cheek. He smacked my hand away and shot me an annoyed look, to which I responded with a smirk.
"Oh, the tragedy." I mocked. He rolled his eyes but a ghost of a smile made its way onto his face.
Turning back to the purpose at hand, I noticed that Naruto was alone at the top. Smirking, I Flash Stepped next to him, surprising him. "Miyu!" Sakura shouted from below.
I turned to the two, smirking. "You snooze you loose." I stuck my tongue out briefly before turning to Naruto. "Well, let's go." Naruto grinned and we ran off.
Idate was no doubt faster then us, there's no denying it. So we were a bit behind him. I sensed him before anything else. "Aoi is up ahead." I sense his chakra. Naruto nodded and we picked up the pace.
Up ahead was the bridge. Idate sat on the ground, Aoi in front of him. A blade of lightning in hand. He's trying to destroy the bridge. Naruto quickly picked up mud and molded it into a ball before throwing it at him.
Aoi moved the umbrella on his pack and opened it, blocking the mud. I glanced at my idiot brother. "Really?" I asked. He shrugged. "I didn't have any kunai." He defended. Sighing, I shook my head.
Really now. "Naruto, Miyuna." Idate spoke, glancing back at us. Aoi placed the umbrella back on his back. "You're going to need more then an umbrella to catch the next ball I throw at ya!" He did a hand sign. "Shadow Clone Jutsu!" He shouted. Three clones appeared. The original held his hand out and the clone helped him form the Rasengan. The blade of lighting was gone, but the hilt was still there. Aoi gripped it, prepared.
"Get ready!" Two of his clones rushed, but Aoi swiped at them with the sword, making them vanish. The third clone attacked from above, but Aoi took care of it easily.
Naruto used the smoke from it to lunge forward and struck with his Rasengan. Aoi quickly blocked it with his blade and there was a moment of sparks as the two clashed. My eyes widened as it began to slowly cut through the Rasengan.
Naruto moved back, but because of the two powers he was flung back and landed harshly on the ground.
Aoi threw his umbrella up. "Ninja Art: Senbon Shower!" He shouted. The umbrella opened and an array of senbon shot down.
I moved fast and chains came from me, creating a protective barrier. The needles bounced off. "Nice try. Stay away from Idate!" I shouted. Taking down the barrier I lunged towards him.
He swiped his sword but I ducked under and kicked. However he had managed to jump up and out of the way.
Tch. He threw senbons at me. Glaring, I quickly pulled out a kunai and deflected them before throwing it at him, to which he deflected with his umbrella. Troublesome ninja that he is.
"How touching. Defending each other, looking out for each other. Pathetic nonsense. Only a weakling needs to depend on others. Trusting other people to give him the strength he hasn't got himself. For a man like that, it's easiest to run away. Isn't that right, Idate?"
Aoi turned his gaze to him. I bit my lip. I can't use Twin Dragon Jutsu here. It'd destroy the bridge. And I can't use my empowered fists either. I have to rely on regular Taijutsu, or use my chains carefully.
It'd be easiest if I could cast Genjutsu, but I've never actually bothered to learn any. "But Ibiki, he indulged in that. Incredible isn't it? That someone would actually lay down his life for the likes of you. You could have hurried back to the village and summon help. But that would mean facing up to your guilt wouldn't it? So instead you just ran away. You didn't even have the excuse that Ibiki was dead."
"Shut it!" I appeared before him and punched him harshly in the face. He flung back towards the bridge. Flash Stepping behind him, I kicked him back and he rolled on the ground before springing up.
He glared malevolently at me. "You brat." He growled. I narrowed my eyes. "Quit with the talk. Don't talk about Idate like that. Or I'll rip your lips off!" I growled out. He raised his blade and turned, deflecting the kunai that Sasuke had thrown.
"Hey guys, excellent timing." Naruto cheered. "Don't sweat it Naruto. Miyuna, just sit back and leave this clown to me." Sasuke spoke.
I sighed and placed my hands on my hips, still on the bridge. "Alright, but don't destroy the bridge, kay?" He sent me a smirk, making me roll my eyes, a smile on my lips.
"It doesn't make a difference of how many of you there are. You'll never defeat me. I'm Aoi of the Rain. And I wield the Blade of the Thunder Spirit." I rolled my eyes. The Thunder Spirit, the Thunder Spirit. Blah, blah.
"Is that so." Sasuke murmured. His dark eyes instantly changed to red as he activated his Sharingan. He held his left wrist. Ah, ah.
"Perfect. The Blade of the Thunder Spirit against my Chidori." His chakra rages about as Chidori formed in his hand.
He rushed at him and clashed his Chidori with the blade. However he was electrocuted a bit and flung back. Landing on his feet, Sasuke glared at him. "He's not happy." I stated.
He pulled out his kunai and rushed, clashing it with the blade. He's doing pretty good. But with that blade, Aoi has the upper hand. They clashed and stayed. Sasuke struggled a bit.
"Heh. I see that the stories are true. I've always heard that the last of the great Uchiha clan was a hopeless loser unworthy of his family name." Something in me snapped and I lunged his way, kunai in hand.
I struck but Aoi used one hand to block with a kunai of his own. I glared at him murderously. "You bastard." I pushed more, overpowering him. If it's a fight with strength I can easily overpower him.
Sasuke was pushed back and Aoi struck me with the sword, shocking me. "Ah!" I shouted, flinging back. "Sasuke, Miyu!" Sakura shouted. I quickly stood, biting my lip. This guy.
"Run Sakura! He'll show no mercy! He'll kill us all! Get away while you still can!" Idate shouted. I grit my teeth. "No. I won't forgive anyone who hurts my friends!" I lunged again, swinging my chakra empowered fist.
Aoi sensed the chakra and blocked it with the sword. But I kept on applying more and more chakra. His eyes widened. "How?!" He shouted. Channeling more I pushed him back, flinging him away.
My fist twitched, sustaining the damage of the attack. There was a large burn mark from my fingers to my elbow. Shit. That hurt. "No way! Miyu is right! We'll never abandon you! We have sworn to protect you. You can trust us Idate!" Sakura told him.
"Yes, well then. Idate and his little friends. Time to start your journey to the next world." Sakura readied her kunai and I clenched my non burned hand.
However Sasuke stood. "Take it back. Take back what you said." He growled. Sasuke . . . Aoi's words got to him. "What are you talking about?" Aoi questioned. But Sasuke wasn't amused.
"I'm warning you. Don't mess with me!" He formed Chidori again. "I'm Sasuke of the LeafVillage. I'm the last . . . of the Uchiha!" He roared, rushing at him.
The two clashed and I could see it. He made a small crack. A blinding light emitted, forcing me to shut my eyes until Sasuke's scream of pain filled my ears. Tearing my eyelids open I spotted him, being electrocuted.
"SASUKE!" I screamed. Aoi threw him to the bridge. I flash stepped and caught him. "Sasuke?! Sasuke!" I shouted in worry. He's unconscious.
Oh no. I glared up at Aoi in anger. "Sasuke!" Sakura threw a kunai to which Aoi evaded. She ran to us. "Miyu! Is he okay?" She asked worriedly. I wasn't paying attention to her. I was staring at Aoi who was about to slice the last rope holding the bridge in tact.
Setting Sasuke down I ran quickly. He swiped and I caught the blade in my hand and lightning surrounded me. I screamed in pain but didn't let go.
Instead I applied more pressure, making it crack more. Aoi's eyes widened once he realized what I was playing at and he used more lightning. But I didn't let go. I gripped it tighter, cracking it more. "LET GO!" Aoi roared, stabbing me with some senbon.
Grunting in pain I released it and fell back. "Miyu!" My friends shouted. Sparks danced over my body and I could feel the burns on my body. Groaning I opened an eye to see Aoi sever the bridge rope. "Leave them alone!" Idate shouted. "NO!" I screamed.
But it was too late. The bridge fell, along with my friends. Sakura let out a shout. "NO! Sakura!" Naruto shouted.
Quickly standing I rushed to the edge and dove right after them.
