"Miyu, I'm at point B." I said through my little communication device.

"Sasuke, I'm at point C."

"Sakura, I'm at point D."

. . . "Naruto! I'm at point A, believe it!"

"You're slow Naruto. Okay squad seven-hm. Target has moved! Follow it!" we chased after our target.

I stopped behind a tree and watched the target. "What's your distance from the target?" Kakashi's voice rang in my ear. "Five meters. I'm ready, just give the signal." Naruto said.

We all were ready. Then it occurred to me. "Are we seriously doing this? This is ridiculous!" I threw a kunai a bit behind our target. It was a special kunai that had a seal on it and helped me with my Flash Step Jutsu.

I flash stepped behind it and picked the target up by its neck. This. Is. Embarrassing.

I groaned and face palmed. "This humiliating. Degrading. Absolutely stupid! It's a stupid cat!"

Naruto jumped out and tackled the cat from my arms. Sasuke stepped out and stood next to me. After a while he and I became really good friends. We've been teammates for a little over a month now. He's not as bad as I originally thought.

Kakashi sighed. "Miyu, stick to the signal. Can you verify the ribbon on its right ear?" he asked. I watched as the cat mercilessly scratched up Naruto. "Affirmative. We've got a positive ID." Sasuke responded.

I sighed and put my head down. This is stupid. "Right. Lost pet Tora captured. Mission accomplished."

"Can't we get a better mission then this?! I hate cats!" my eyes widened and I tilted to the side as Naruto screamed through his piece. "AH!" I fell back but was caught by Sasuke. My right ear! Damn it Naruto!

We stood in the Hokage's office. Luckily my ear regained its hearing. I stood in-between Sasuke and Naruto as we watched the cat we captured being hugged to death. I felt bad for it.

Naruto laughed. "Stupid cat. That kitty deserves to be squashed." I elbowed him hard in the ribs and he bent over and held his side in pain.

I understand why the cat ran away. I would too if that lady was my owner.

"Now then. For squad sevens next mission we have several available tasks. Among them babysitting the chief counselors three year old, helping his wife do the shopping, digging up potatoes-"

"No!" Naruto shouted. Everyone looked at him. "I want to go on a real mission! Something challenging and exciting not this little kid stuff! Come on old man!" Naruto yelled.

He had a point. However . . . "Naruto, you're barely thirteen. You are a kid." He fell forward flat on his face then looked back to me. "Miyu!" He whined.

I sighed at his childish behavior. "Naruto we're still kids, so of course we'll get put with these types of missions. Someone has to do them. That's what genin's do."

I then looked at the third Hokage. "But gramps, could we at least get a C-ranked mission. We've been genin's a little over a month and we need the experience. If all we do are these types of missions, what if we have to do an emergency mission and it's an A-class yet we're the only ones available? We can only evolve and get better if we go through the experience. A C-ranked mission is fair enough."

Iruka and the third couldn't argue. I was right and no matter what they want it won't change the fact that I have a logical reason.

Gramps chuckled. "You always know a way to persuade people. You've always had that ability Miyu." I smiled at him. "So be it. Since you are so determined I'm going to give you C-ranked mission. You'll be bodyguards on a journey."

"Really? Yes! Who? Who are we guarding? A princess? Or some big league counselor?" Yes Naruto. Because they'd chose genin straight from the academy to guard a princess. Sometime my brother can be an idiot.

The Hokage smirked. "Don't be so impatient. I will bring him in now. Send in our visitor."

We all looked at the door, waiting for the person we'll be escorting. Tension built up when we heard the footsteps near the door.

Now I wasn't really expecting anyone fancy, but I defiantly wasn't expecting this. "What the? A bunch of little snot nose kids?"

The old, fat, man took a swig of his drink. I sniffed the air and cringed back. He reeks of alcohol! He looks like a peasant from a fairy tale! A drunk, old, peasant from a fairy tale!

I had an immediate distaste for the man. "And you, the little one with the idiotic look on your face; you really expect me to believe you're a ninja?"

Naruto laughed at this. "Who's the little one with the idiotic look on their face?" Naruto asked. Sakura, Sasuke, and I stepped closer to Naruto to measure us. Sasuke's the tallest, then its Sakura, then Naruto, so that means I'm . . .

I fell to my knees on the ground, face a bit flushed. Do I have an idiotic look on my face? "Hey don't pick on Miyu!" Naruto yelled. The man knitted his eyebrows together. "I was talking about you." He corrected.

Naruto grew an irk mark and ran at him only to be held back by Kakashi. Naruto was yelling profanities and Sasuke patted my head and helped me up.

I felt better that he meant Naruto, but irritated that he did. The man took another swig of his alcohol before introducing himself. "I am Tazuna, master bridge builder and I must return to my country. I'm building a bridge there that will change our world and I expect you to get me there safely, even if it means giving up your life."

Well then. He's conceited and a total jerk. So then we were told to pack and meet at the gates.

When we arrived everyone was already there. Naruto was beyond excited and I was a bit excited too. I had learned about this type of jutsu that I wanted to try out when I got home. I read it in some files at gramps office. Near the files where I learned and renamed Jump Step.

I wanted to see if I could do it. Naruto cheered as we neared our group. "What are you getting so excited about Naruto?" Sakura asked.

My brother moved around a lot. "This is the first time I ever left the village! I'm a traveler now believe it!" I laughed at his enthusiasm. "Am I supposed to trust my life with this runt? He's a joke."

I shot a glare at Tazuna. "At least he isn't a drunken old man afraid of walking home all by himself." I shot back. Naruto and Sakura snickered.

Tazuna glared at me. "What did you just say?"

Before I could repeat myself Kakashi interrupted. "He's with me and I'm a jonin. So you don't have to worry."

Tazuna shot me another glare and I smirked before childishly sticking out my tongue. Then we began our journey. Tazuna used every chance to insult us and it was really pissing me off!

That old man is getting on my last nerve! So Sakura was asking him about the Land of Waves. I just observed our surroundings. I felt a weird chakra presence but couldn't find where it was coming from.

I kept on looking around as Kakashi gave a history and geography lesson. I smelt the air and smelt water. Not like a river though. The chakra smelt like water.

Strange. As we kept on walking I noticed a puddle. I walked up to it and looked at my reflection within it. I could see chakra emitting from it. I sniffed it. Sure enough it's what I've been smelling. I read about this in some scrolls. It's a ninja technique with those who could use water jutsu's.

I stared at it as my team kept on walking. I glanced at Kakashi who was watching me over his shoulder. I raised an eyebrow and he gave a slight nod.

I grinned and empowered chakra to my feet before splashing in the puddle. "Look! It's a puddle, a puddle, it's a puddle!" I giggled childishly. Tazuna and my team looked at me strangely but I could see Kakashi smirk through his mask.

I jumped out, still giggling and ran to my group. I bet that hurt a lot more then they'll be willing to admit.

The sounds of the ninja getting out reached our ears. We turned to see two creepy looking ninja rush at Kakashi with a chain.

Out of instinct I shoved Sakura and Naruto in front of Tazuna and stood protectively in front of them. They ripped Kakashi apart with the chains but I knew it was just a clone. I could smell it.

Naruto and Sakura screamed for Kakashi. The two ninja snuck up behind Naruto. I glared and flash stepped in front of them before punching one in the face with my chakra empowered fist. "Not on your life!" I screamed as he flew straight through three trees.

I grabbed Naruto and jumped away from the other one as he tried to attack us. He had separated his chain from the other so he was on his own.

Then he rushed towards Sakura and Tazuna. Sasuke stood in front of her and Tazuna. He threw some ninja weapons, but he deflected it.

I flash stepped in front of Sasuke and punched his claw, shattering it. His eyes widened and I moved aside as Sasuke attacked him with a fire ball. Then he ran and kicked him in the face, sending him my way.

I got ready to deliver the final punch when Kakashi caught him by the neck. I blinked.

"Oh you're still alive." I said simply. He sweat dropped at me. "You don't sound too happy." He muttered. I grinned and waved. "I knew you were alive. You didn't smell like you when they ripped you apart."

He glanced at me curiously. He also had the one I punched through the trees. "Naruto, sorry I didn't help you right away. I didn't mean for you to get hurt. I just didn't think you'd freeze up like that."

He walked over to Sasuke, Sakura, and I. "Good job Sasuke, very smooth. You too Miyuna. Very aggressive. And you too Sakura."

While she smiled I looked at my shell shocked brother. "In all fairness, I didn't give Naruto a chance to freeze up." I stated. This seemed to ease Naruto and Sakura bought it along with Tazuna. However Sasuke and Kakashi knew better.

They sent me a look letting me know I was lying.

Oh well. "Hey? You're not hurt are you? Scardy cat." Sasuke smirked at Naruto. This was a huge blow to him. I smacked Sasuke upside the head. "Ow!" He grumbled before shooting me a glare.

I placed my hands on my hips and narrowed my eyes on him. "Be nice to Naruto." I hissed. He rolled his eyes and stood straight.

Luckily Naruto was unharmed and just fine. Those ninja seemed to be after Tazuna. I looked at him and smirked. "You liar~" I sang. He moved back and Kakashi looked at him. "She's right. We need to talk."

We all stood back as the two ninjas were tied to the tree. I walked up so I was in front of them and crouched down in front of them.

"Miyu don't get so close to them." Kakashi warned. I ignored him and tilted my head as I stared at them innocently. I then poked ones cheek. He sweat dropped.

They feel normal. "How did you know about our ambush?" One asked. I poked the one that spoke forehead. "A puddle. On a clear day. When it hasn't rained in weeks. Even Miyu, a new genin noticed." He finished. One of them narrowed their eyes at me.

"The brat jumped on us. It freaking hurt. It was like she weighed a ton. But you had chakra in your feet to make it painful huh?" I giggled and closed my eyes, sticking out my tongue before standing.

I ran back in-between Sasuke and Naruto. Then Kakashi talked about how that they were after Tazuna. So we're really on a B-ranked mission.

However Naruto made it plainly clear that we were already on a mission and that we should finish it.

So we continued with our mission of escorting Tazuna. However I had a bad feeling. Like something bad was going to happen and it was going to be big.

Sasuke noticed my uneasiness and grabbed my hand. I looked at him and he let go, giving me a questioning look.

I sighed. "Something's going to happen. I can't help but feel that we're going to get more then we asked for."

Sasuke and I were at the back, Kakashi and Tazuna ahead of us, and ahead of the Naruto and Sakura. He looked at me for a bit before looking forward. "We'll be fine. As long as Kakashi, you, and I are still able to fight, our mission will end quickly."

I glanced at him curiously. "Why me?" I asked. He smirked at me. "Because you exceed in taijutsu and you know a really good ninjutsu. I think you're not weak like Naruto and Sakura." I chuckled and looked forward.

I grabbed his hand and he looked at me questioningly. I shook my head. "I still have a bad feeling." I said. Sure, holding a guy's hand is a sign of affection but my nerves ease more when I'm with Sasuke. And since we've become great friends it's much easier to be with him. He's still a conceited, arrogant, jerk sometimes.

He nodded in understanding and we continued walking. Something was going to happen. But what is it?
