The Forbidden Jutsu! Beware the Color Red!

Warning!! This chapter has very mature content, lots of blood and gore, all that psychopathic shit. If you can't handle it, skip this chapter.

I stared at the documents in front of me. Haru, Kabuto and I are currently out on a mission. It's simple. Go to the Land of Water, go to a secret villages ruins, and discover the stone slab of the key to using Blood Release.

Of course this was just a guise. Today's the day Orochimaru must transfer into Sasuke's body. And they want me out of the hideout.

Kabuto fought every step of the way to remain by his side, but Orochimaru needed me to stay away from him so I wouldn't interfere with it.

Afterall, Sasuke is to die today.

But this is also apart of the plan. Kabuto and Haru are his most trusted aids. However Haru is on my side. We're to keep Kabuto away for a few days, lose him, send Haru to Sasuke, search for any information on Itachi's whereabouts, then return to his side.

Of course I have no intention of looking for Itachi. I haven't made any progress on Sasuke's plan to kill him. At all.

It doesn't help that my nerves are practically shot. I didn't want to leave Sasuke alone to fight Orochimaru. How could he ever defeat him, let along kill? Even gramps couldn't.

But I'm not to be anywhere near the hideout when it happens. Not like that'd help them any. I could always Flash Step to him. But that would defeat the purpose of this.

I sighed, rubbing my temples. Right now, the two have gone up ahead to survey the area.

Orochimaru has been trying for weeks to get me to learn the Secret Techniques of Blood Release, but apparently there's more to it then we thought.

Then again they expect me to learn it all right off the bat. Give or take I've been learning jutsu's faster since leaving the Leaf, but it still takes time. I'm still not that great with Wood Release, but I've been working on it.

However nobody can actually teach me any of these jutsu's since I'm the first 'successful' experiment. Successful only because I'm not dead.

He claims he knew I'd survive, and I believe him, but there was a 35% chance I'd die in the midst of it. But what with the day approaching for his new body, I wondered what he'd do to me after.

Probably continue to experiment on me, just lock me up.

I wouldn't be lucky enough for him to kill me.

Haru and Kabuto jumped down next to me. I raised an eyebrow at Kabuto. "The village is clear. No one around for miles. Let's go." I snorted at his superior tone. His face immediately soured. "Must you be so insufferable?" He asked.

I rolled my eyes and walked past him, purposely bumping into his shoulder. "Let's get this over with." I said. Haru immediately followed after me while Kabuto scowled.

Haru bumped his shoulder with mine lightly and sent me a reassuring smile. He's been trying to keep my spirits up, knowing I'm worried about Sasuke.

He's excited. Because he can finally be reunited with Karin.

Although I'm a bit worried about that for him. He may love her, but I know for a fact that she's totally into Sasuke. Well, that's none of my business.

Right now, keep Kabuto occupied with us. That's all I need to think about.

We soon made it to the ruins. Rubble littered the ground, the grass is overgrown, and it just looked devastated. The only thing here is broken stone. "We'll split up and search." Kabuto said. The three of us separated and did so.

Of course I'd rather never awaken Blood Release. I'm not even all so sure what it is. Orochimaru told me very little of it. But I don't like the sounds of it.

I mean, it was only meant to be within a clan. And every experiment has failed.

Except me. And I want to point out that it's not even activated. If we did, would I die? Would I be able to withstand it?

No. I'm not going to die. Not by something like this. There's still a lot that I need to do. People that are counting on me. Sasuke, Granny Tsunade, The Leaf, my friends, Shikamaru. And Naruto. I can't die. Not while Naruto is still out there.

"What the hell?!" Haru's angry shout brought me out of my thoughts. "You bastard!"

Haru? I quickly Flash Stepped next to him. Haru was slumped against a broken wall, an angry glare readied at Kabuto. A group of civilians stood behind him.

Haru grunted, body slightly shaking as he tried to move but couldn't.

I turned my gaze back to Kabuto and glared. "What's going on here?" I growled lowly.

What did he do to Haru? Why are there people here? Hm? Not far away, is an large rectangular box made of Earth. A jutsu.

"I know how to unlock Blood Release." Kabuto stated cooly.

I just narrowed my eyes even more. "To be more specific, I've known for a while. Don't worry about Haru, I just slipped him a paralysis drug. For some reason he's more concerned for your wellbeing then he should. It's just for precautionary measures."

What the hell? He glanced back at a few people, who seemed not entirely there. "Come." He led them to the strange box of sorts.

One man bent over it, and Kabuto moved his hand, which had a blade in it, and swung down, decapitating him. My eyes widened slightly

Blood spurted out. Kabuto kept his hand on the back as it flowed into the box. A woman did the same and Kabuto repeated the process.

"Stop!" I roared, rushing over at him. I brought my fist back and swung, but a man leapt between. My fist went right through him. His blood dribbled all over my arm that was still struck through him.

"Wh-what?" I whispered in horror. I took my arm out and he collapsed.

Before I could process what had happened, three senbon needles embedded in me. I immediately crumpled to the floor. Damn it! My body. He got me.

"You just need to wait till I fill it up." Kabuto said, a slight smirk on his face. A few more people walked closer to him and the box.

"If you think your damn poisons will keep me down, you have another thing coming." I growled, forcing my shaking arm up. His smirk fell and he looked at me with cold, cruel eyes. "Well this is a bother. I need to fill this up with blood. It's part of the process. So you must obediently wait."

The part of me that has been with them for years compelled me to obey and watch. Despite my morals.

But this is different. I don't need to stand by and watch innocent people continue to die. "KABUTO!" I shouted, my chains exited my back and went straight for him.

He jumped away from them. Much to my body's protest, I stood, still feeling heavy and numb at once.

Kabuto kept his eyes trained on me. "Makoto. Take care of them." He ordered.

Another ninja landed next to the box, readied with a battle axe. He swung and took the heads of three and they all slumped over the box. "STOP!" I roared, lunging at him. However Kabuto moved in front of me, chakra coating his head.

Realizing what he was planning, I quickly jumped back.

"Trying to weaken my muscles huh? You and your damn chakra scalpel." I grumbled angrily. Kabuto merely smirked.

His type is definitely the most aggravating. When it comes to being a Medical Nin he's a genius whereas I'm basically Naruto.

I just gotta make sure to keep away from his hands. I can't heal whatever he does and neither can Haru.

Avoiding it will be difficult. My speed has dropped drastically because of his damn poison. I was careless. But I can move. No, I'm making myself move. This is going to be a tricky match. No. He's not the target.

My gaze went to the new ninja, Makoto. Who continued to butcher the civilians. Damn it!

My chains went straight for him, but Kabuto ran at me and moved his hand to my chest.

Reacting quickly, I snatched his wrist just centimeters from my chest and moved my other hand back. "HA!"

Before I could drive my fist straight into his gut, he moved his fingers out, touching my chest.

My chest constricted painfully and blood dripped from my mouth. Ignoring the pain, I drove it straight into his gut. His eyes widened slightly as he was flung back.

It's okay. You're okay.

I turned my head back and focused my chains on Makoto. Five of which sharpened and stabbed straight through his chest and lifted him up.

I briefly glanced at the bodies scattered across the ground by the box and rage coursed through me.

They were innocent! Tear him to shreds. Avoice in my head whispered. And I did.

My chains moved in opposite directions, tearing Makoto's body apart.

Suddenly Kabuto is beside me and struck my side. I grit my teeth as my legs buckled underneath me. He went to hit me again, but the chains wrapped around me and I connected a chakra barrier to it.

His hand bounced off it and I lunged at him, wind swirling in my hand. "Rasengan!" I shouted, slamming it at him.

He coughed up blood and flew into a tree. I don't have time. He can heal himself in less than a minute. I ran at him again, but senbon needles were flung my way. Because of my dulled reflexes, I Flash Stepped back to Haru.

The only way I could have avoided them on time.

Kabuto emerged from the dust that moved up from the earth at the disturbance. He glanced at Makoto's torn body and whistled.

"Well now. That was uncharacteristically vicious of you." Tch. What a pain.

But . . . it really was.

Kabuto watched me carefully before walking over and looking into the box. "Well, it's complete now. I have been working on it since before I brought you two back. Come on, Miyuna. It's time." He motioned for me to come over.

I stood, staring at him heatedly. "Fuck you." I grounded out. He sighed before weaving his hands. That sign.

I jumped away to avoid a Shadow Clone. "Miyuna. They're already dead. Are you going to continue running away? Disobeying Lord Orochimaru?!" He shouted over at me.

I grit my teeth. Orochimaru should be dead about now. That much I'm sure. I don't need to prove anything!

My chains moved and stabbed straight through him. However he turned into a log. "Substitution? Ahg!" Kabuto slammed his scalpel to my chest once more.

I clenched my fist, ready to strike him, but he pulled out a vile of something and splashed it onto me. My body became unbearably heavy and I fell to my knees.

God damn it! I glared up at him through my lashes. "You and your damn dirty tricks."

He smirked and scooped me up. "Stop! Don't touch her!" Haru shouted. Kabuto ignored him and set me on the edge of the box.

I glanced down and froze completely. It's filled with blood. Like a bathtub.

Kabuto dipped his finger into the blood and brought it back. "You're about to finish the awakening. Be grateful. You're about to become a Blood Release user." He spoke, while drawing something on my forehead.

The moment he did, it began to burn. And burn. My head began to thunder loudly.

"It'll be over in a bit." He murmured. But it wasn't comforting. Because he had that damn sadistic look on his face.

Grabbing my shoulders he threw me into the box, straight under the blood.

I thrashed around, not wanting to be in here. I can't breathe. It's thick. It's warm. It tastes of iron. No. No, no, no! I need to get out. I can't stay in here! This is-those people-! NO! I NEED OUT!!

Kabuto reached down and held my shoulders down so I remained submerged. I tried not to scream, but the blood made its way into my mouth, my nose, everything. Everything is red. No. Black.

The burning in my head began to spread throughout my body and I shouted.

My blood feels as if it's flowing in reverse. What the hell? My panic fell, but the pain increased. I need to get out of here! Out of this blood! I have to escape!

No.

Huh? I-I have to get out. But . . . my body stopped thrashing and I concentrated on the feeling of the blood on my skin.

Warm. Hot even. Thick, sticky, and oddly soothing.

I stopped resisting and remained in here. My blood boiled, but not in rage. Not in anything. It only relishes in the feeling of the blood around me. Blood.

It's so beautiful. So warm. So comforting. Blood.

Blood.

Something in me throbbed. It did it again. Again. My heart rate began to accelerate. My skin buzzed in anticipation. My adrenaline is skyrocketing. An overwhelming feeling of excitement began to flow within me.

I couldn't remember why I needed to leave. Why I was so afraid? Why was it so important? Slowly a smile made its way onto my face and I sat up, emerging from the tub.

Red. Everything in my vision is tinted red. And it's wonderful.

My gaze wandered to the small group of civilians left alive. Their eyes wide with fear. Their fear only made my skin buz more and my heart accelerate even further.

I could practically see their blood. Trapped beneath the surface. It needs to get out. It's wants to get out. I want it out. I want it free.

I stood in the box, staring at them with predatory eyes. "Miyuna?" A voice asked.

I turned my gaze to a familiar guy, standing, using a tree for support. Something was buzzing in the back of my mind, but I ignored it.

The itch to free the blood from their bodies too strong. How should I do it? With my bear hands? Oh how wonderful that would be.

I stepped out of the tub and slowly began to stalk towards them. "Miyuna? Miyuna! What are you doing?! Miyuna!" The familiar guy shouted desperately.

Miyuna? That's me, isn't it?

Who cares. Blood. There needs to be more blood!

I stopped just in front of the first person. A woman, shaking like a leaf. I raised my bloodied arm up. Without thinking, I made it harden and brought the makeshift blade down.

"NARUTO WOULD CRY!"

An image of a blonde boy flashed through my mind and my blade stopped just inches from the women's face.

The image of him grinning burned into my mind. "Na . . . ruto." I whispered hoarsely, almost choking on the blood that was in my mouth.

What was I doing? I blinked a couple times. Slowly, the red tint faded, and vanished. Leaving me with a crying woman.

What the? I was-I was going to kill her.

My body jerked back and I quickly brought my hands to my head, squeezing tightly. One arm was still equipped with hardened blood, but I didn't care.

The urge to kill fought against me, wanting to get out. It would be so easy to slay them. To coat the ground a beautiful red.

But I can't. That's bad. These people are innocent. C'mon. You're not like that. You aren't a heartless killer. There is no need to kill them.

This isn't me. Calm down. "You're Miyuna Uzumaki. Younger sister to Naruto. You love him, your friends. Must protect the Leaf." I whispered to myself.

I pushed the bloodlust into the deepest parts of my mind. "Sasuke. Haru, Shikamaru, Choji, Sakura." I began to whisper the names of my friends, cooling me down.

I didn't realize how heated up my body was. My blood was basically boiling, raising my temperature.

". . . Ino, Kiba-" Come on Miyuna. Calm down. You don't want to hurt them. To kill them. That's not you. It's this darkness of this vile gene implanted in me.

Even if you're insane, you can't afford it. Not now. Realize that. I need to remember why I'm doing this. Why I can't lose, especially to myself.

"Naruto."

That one name was the finishing touch. Any hostility left within me vanished. The hardened blood returned to its original state and dripped.

I don't want to see what I look like. I know I must look like something out of a horror show. Coated in blood from head to toe.

I brought my hands up and stared at them. They're stained with blood. Disgust and remorse began to build in the pit of my stomach.

What was I about to do? Why? What's wrong with me? Disgusting. I'm disgusting. "The ceremony is typically completed once you kill the sacrifices." Kabuto's voice rang.

Ceremony? Ah, that's right. He knew what this all entailed. From the beginning.

He killed those innocent people and then shoved me under their blood. Then he let me loose, so I could kill them. So, this is the type of people that are created with Blood Release?

Something like this should never exist.

My hand twitches and I turned slowly to Kabuto.

You tried to turn me into a disgusting person. You. You and that damn snake.

I moved my hands up, not even thinking, and formed a hand sign. I knew. I knew what to do. "Die." The blood from the box flew up and hardened into spikes before descending upon him.

Kabuto managed to dodge most of them, but I continued to manipulate them, chasing him with them. It didn't take much of an effort really. Because the blood is close, almost attached to me.

One of the spikes pierced straight through his chest and pinned him into the ground.

I watched as his blood stained the hardened one. The urge to continue to spill more fought to reach the surface. But I kept it pushed back.

It's strange. Tilting my head, another spike flies and pinned his leg down making him scream. The blood seems to be doing what I think. And my urge to kill spikes with every usage. So this is Blood Release?

This is sick. "Miyuna? Are you okay?" Haru asked attentively.

Am I okay? I pushed all the negative feelings deep into my mind.

I have to be. My feelings aren't important. Especially now that this has awakened a bloodthirsty version of me. Kabuto's down. At least for a while. If I fight any longer, I fear that my bloodlust would take over and I'd lose myself in it again. That must never happen. So I turned.

"Yeah. Let's go."
