Hinata's POV

I owe Sasuke big time and that jerk knows it. He's practically acting like the prince he was with a smirk and his head held high.

"Please just tell me what you want," I sighed into his pillow. He, Naruto, Kiba, and I were back in his shared room with the new kid.

Sasuke just spun once around his computer chair, "All you have to do is thank me with your life, Bookworm."

I rolled my eyes and placed his sweet smelling pillow in my lap, "Not happening jerk."

He gazed at me, "Well, then don't expect me to ever save you again."

"She doesn't need to since she has me," Naruto cut in, annoyed.

I blushed at his comment but thankfully since Sasuke had the bottom bunk and Naruto was reading some comic book on his own bed above, he wasn't able to see.

"No way, idiot," snapped my best friend. "I'm gonna protect her my whole life."

"Then let me repay you once in awhile," I replied. "What do you really want?"

Sasuke looked at me, "You really want to know?"

I nodded, Kiba, who was on the floor, sat up in wonder.

Sasuke looked at me, his black eyes turning too serious for my liking. I felt my body getting uncomfortable so my hands crossed my Konoha High's sweater.

"I want a girlfriend," he answered simply and bluntly.

...was that question for me? Did the Sasuke Uchida, prince of Konoha, captain of both boys' varsity basketball and soccer teams want to date his nerd of a best friend? Did someone hog all the oxygen or something? Share some will you! It's kinda hard to breathe.

A bang followed by a rough "Ow!" changed our attention towards the dorky roommate on the top bunk.

"Who do you have in mind?" Kiba asked, completely oblivious to the intense stared down between Sasuke and me. Breathing was still a challenge though.

"She's gotta be cute, that's a must," Sasuke started, his eyes never leaving mine. "Gentle maybe, and has known me my whole life."

My ex went quiet for a few seconds, perhaps thinking of any girls in our classes.

Does Sasuke like me? No, that's not possible. Sure he's attractive and has a pretty high social standing but I can never see him as more than just a buddy, a friend... a brother.

"Sakura?" Kiba voiced.

Sasuke finally glanced at his friend on the floor, mouth gaping.

Kiba chuckled, "Who would've thought our little school prince would choose our little school princess as a lover."

"No I-"

Kiba held up a hand, "This is news. The little angel has been in love with you since forever. It's about time you realized, buddy."

"What?" Sasuke asked, obviously surprised about this whole situation. "Sakura likes me?! Since when?"

Kiba looked at me, surprised. I narrowed my eyes at him, so much for a secret.

"Since the day you two met," Naruto answered, quite annoyed.

Sasuke didn't look like he knew what to do. He started shifting uncomfortably and cleared his throat.

"Why are you acting so awkward, anyways?" Continued Naruto. "It's not like this is the first girl that likes you."

Sasuke shook his head, as if clearing his head, "I know but she's... always been so close to me that, I don't know what to think."

I sighed, "And I thought girls were complicated."

He narrowed his eyes at me, "Maybe I am a girl on the inside."

"Really? I never knew."

"Hinata Bookworm Hyuga, are you using sarcasm on me?" Sasuke made a pretend face of hurt. "And I thought we have a good relationship going on."

"Yeah," I chuckled. "Relationship my butt, jackbutt. Just figure out your issue with Sakura-chan."

Sasuke looked a little uneasy, "So what should I do about this?"

"Do you not like her?" Asked Naruto, a little hope in his voice.

Sasuke looked down at Kiba, "I don't know. I only dated Ino freshmen year and it was pretty... weird."

"You dated Sassy?!" Naruto exclaimed.

"Shut it," Sasuke warned. "Anyway what should I do?"

"Just go on a date with her, man," replied Kiba. "Afterwards, if you think she's the one, just go for it."

I heard a shift above me. Poor Naruto, he must be so hurt. Kiba knew, but why does he keep suggesting Sasuke should go ahead and date Sakura?

"I'll do it," Sasuke murmured. "I'll take Sakura out on a date."

A rough sigh came from Naruto, Kiba gave Sasuke an "Attaboy" and me? Well, I'm still comprehending this.

Sasuke and Sakura dating? I've known Sasuke since we were two, Sakura since we were eight. The two, sure, did complete one another but I don't know how I should feel about this but for some reason, I'm more worried about our now sad bad boy.
