Chapter One: She's so gone.

In a city called Konoha was a school called Konoha Academy.

A boy named Naruto Uzumaki and his friend, Gaara of the sand, was starting Konoha Academy today.

Naruto used to go there three years ago but he moved away and now he's moved back with Gaara.

Gaara has two siblings who go there called Temari and Kankuro.

"Come on Gaara, we're late!" Naruto said.

The two were running to the academy.

"You know I can't run, damn it..." Gaara said and then he used his sand to help him fly.

"Hey! No fair!" Naruto shouted.

Gaara grabbed the back of Naruto's shirt and pulled him onto the sand.

"Thanks." Naruto said.

Soon they reached the academy where they were greeted by the one and only, Tsunade.

"Lady Tsunade! Long time no see!" Naruto said.

"Naruto, Gaara, you're late. Come with me. I'll take you to your first class." Tsunade said.

They all walked into the school and went to a class room.

Tsunade knocked on it and waited until someone came.

"Lady Tsunade, what can I do for you?" The person asked.

"Kakashi sensei!" Naruto said.

Kakashi looked at Naruto and smiled.

"Naruto, it's nice to see you again." Kakashi said and then he looked at Gaara. "Hello Gaara, I believed we've met before." Kakashi said.

Gaara nodded.

"Well, come on in." Kakashi said.

They all walked in and there was a class inside. There was Sakura, Sasuke, Sai, Kiba, Shino, Shikamaru, Ino, Choji, Temari and Kankuro. The only person who was missing was Hinata.

"Gaara and Naruto?" Everyone gasped.

"I guess there's no need for introductions." Kakashi said. "So just sit in those two empty seats over there." Kakashi said pointing to two seats, one was next to Sakura.

"Kakashi Sensei, Hinata Hyuga sits here." Sakura said.

"I see, um, Gaara, you sit in the seat one away from Sakura and Naruto, you sit next to Sasuke." Kakashi said.

The two sat where they were told to.

"Well, I will be leaving now." Tsunade said.

She walked to the door and opened it, but straight away, she hit someone.

"Ah!" The person screamed.

Everyone looked to see Tsunade panicking.

"Hinata! Are you ok?" Tsunade asked as she put her hand out for the young Hyuga.

"Yes, thank you Lady Hokage." They heard Hinata say.

"Hinata ay? I wonder what she looks like now. She had short hair last time I saw her... Hm..." Naruto thought.

"Hinata? Isn't that the girl from the chunin exams?" Gaara thought.

Hinata walked through to the class room and Naruto and Gaara was shocked.

Hinata had longer hair, she was taller and she had bigger breasts.

"HOLY CRAP!" They thought.

Hinata made her way to Kakashi sensei and bowed.

"I apologize for being late Kakashi Sensei." She said.

"Just don't let it happen again. Go sit down." Kakashi said.

Hinata walked to her seat and sat down. Sakura whispered something in her ear which made Hinata go stiff. She looked at the corner of her eye and saw Gaara. She turned a little red and when she saw Gaara, she turned completely red and looked straight at Kakashi sensei.

"Is she ok? She looks a little red..." Gaara thought.

"I can't believe it... N-Naruto is back, a-and Gaara t-too... I-I'm a little frightened of G-Gaara because of the Chunin exams... W-w-what do I do?" Hinata thought.

"S-Sakura... W-what do I d-do?" Hinata whispered to Sakura.

"Just stay calm." Sakura whispered.

"E-easy f-for you t-to say, w-whenever I see him, I-I s-see the chunin e-exams w-when me and K-Kiba and S-Shino were h-hiding behind that bush and we s-saw him k-kill t-three n-n-ninjas..." Hinata whispered.

Gaara's eyes went wide. He heard everything.

"She saw that!?" He thought and then he quickly looked at Hinata.

Hinata looked at him and when they saw each other looking at the other, they quickly looked away.

At lunch...

It was lunch break and all the girls were sitting at a table, talking, but Hinata was quiet the whole time.

"Hinata? Are you ok?" Temari asked.

Hinata shook her head and looked at them.

"Sorry, w-what was that? I was in my own world." Hinata explained.

"I said, are you ok? You look distracted." Temari said.

"I'm fine." Hinata replied.

"Are you going to enter the talent contest?" Ino asked.

"I-I don't know." Hinata said.

"Come on, everyone's heard you sing, everyone loves your voice." Sakura said.

"I don't know." Hinata replied.

"I know! I'll be back!" Sakura said as she ran off.

10 minutes later...

Sakura came back with a cart with a drum set on. There were two guitars and a keyboard.

All the girls but Hinata smiled.

"She's so gone?" They all asked Hinata.

Hinata looked at them, smiled and nodded.

They started to play. Temari was on the drums. Sakura was on the keyboard. Ino was on one guitar while Hinata was on the other one. Hinata and Ino stood on the table and everyone watched them as they started to play their instruments.

Hinata:

They finished singing and everyone clapped.

Hinata and Ino got off the table and everyone cheered for them.

"Ino! Hinata! Ino! Hinata! Ino! Hinata! Ino! Hinata!" People chanted.

"Since when could Hinata and Ino sing?" Naruto asked.

"Since always, when you left, the two changed, especially Hinata." Kiba explained.

"So... Since Naruto left the two have changed?" Gaara asked.

"Yep, pretty much, sometimes the girls sing at lunch, sometimes we do as well, if we feel like it. It's like we've formed a band." Kiba explained.

"What is this? High School Musical?" Gaara asked.

"No, people like us to sing, so we do." Shikamaru said and then he sighed. "It's such a drag thought..." He added.

"So, do you guys sing?" Kiba asked.

"Gaara does. He's a great singer!" Naruto said.

"Shut up!" Gaara said.

"You sing Gaara?" Shikamaru asked.

Gaara folded his arms, slouched down into his chair and pouted a little.

"Not in public..." He mumbled.

"Well, we can change that!" Kiba smiled.

"Whatever..." Gaara said still pouting.

Hinata looked over to the guys table and saw Gaara pouting. Some reason, she had a little on her cheeks.

"Why am I blushing? I have to admit, G-Gaara is kind of cute like that, b-but I like Naruto... So... Why...? Oh no... Do I like Gaara!?" Hinata thought.

Gaara looked up at Hinata and she looked away instantly.

"Was she looking at me...? No... I was told she liked Naruto so she couldn't have been..." Gaara thought.
