Test day is here and I'm feeling pretty good about it. After study night going so horribly wrong we managed to meet at my house the last three days before exams. I tried so hard to talk to Naruto, but he is ignoring me.

I wish I could show him better how much that hurts but it's impossible to when I'm around Kiba. It's like his secret mission to make sure I keep in good spirits. I sneak a glance over at Kiba. He has his nose practically pressed to his desk in concentration over his history test.

I can't help the small smile that forms on my face. He is a funny guy. I look back at my test and answer the last few questions that I have left. Quietly I take it to the front of the classroom. "Thank you, Miss. Haruno, done first as always." Mr. Umino says with a smile.

I nod returning his smile and make my way back to my desk. I see Kiba look up and roll his eyes at me, basically telling me I'm a class pet. I glare at him before taking my seat, even though I know that he's probably right. Most of the first year teachers love me. I can't help I'm one of the only ones who care about their grades.

Slowly but surely the rest of the class finishes their test and turns them in. I find my mind wandering to Naruto and if Sasuke at least attempted to helped him study for the tests. I want to believe that Sasuke would have helped his best friend but the aching feeling in my gut tells me Naruto is banging his head on his desk right now.
