33.) One, Two, Three, Study!
Dear Journal,
It's gotten a lot calmer now that the soccer season is over. The only thing that I'm not happy about is Naruto. Ever since the night Kiba and Naruto fought tension has been high between the two. Every time Naruto sees Kiba with me he gets this pissed off look in his eye, causing Kiba to do the same. I have almost had it with these two. December is here and winter break is just around the corner, but now exams are here. Well I need to go, it's the final week before exams start and I need to get the house ready for study groups. Ttyl

I sigh and shut my journal slowly as I stand and walk to the window. I watch as the small snowflakes fall outside my bedroom window. So white and so pretty. Winter is my favorite time of year. I love the snow that much.
Kiba, Hinata, Shikamaru, and Choji should be here in two hours, and honestly I wish they weren't. I feel like crap, being that time of the month and all. I promised though, so I can't cancel now. I should have enough time to throw some stew on and take a shower. I set my journal down and head down stairs to the kitchen.
"Hi honey." My mother says warmly to me as I open the fridge. "Would you like me to make something for you and your friends tonight?"
I smile at her. "Actually I was thinking of making a stew." I say shutting the fridge and facing my mother. "Choji is coming so there should be lots. If I want to get him to study that is."
My mother chuckles and nods. "I think I can manage that honey." She says busing herself around the kitchen now.
Well at least now I can shower and clean up the living room, I muse as I make my way back upstairs to gather clean clothes and a towel. I rummage through the drawer of my dresser looking for something to ware.
I want something comfortable and baggy, but I know that there are only two things that fit that description. I pull Kiba's sweatpants and hoodie out of my bottom drawer. He had made me ware them home the next day after I had stayed the night at his house. They will have to do, hopefully Kiba doesn't mind.
I can smell the stew throughout the house as I vacuum the living room. I really couldn't ask for a better mother to be honest. She understood right away why Sasuke wasn't coming around anymore and has welcomed my new friends into her home with open arms. Yes, my mother is quite amazing. As I am putting the vacuum away the first knock sounds on the door.
Putting the vacuum away quickly I call out. "One second." I hurry over to the door and open it, a rush of cold December air sweeping over me. Kiba stands on my front porch in a gray fir lined coat grinning. "Well you're here earlier." I grumble, slightly annoyed that he's here thirty minutes early.
Kiba grins at me from under his damp snow covered hair. "Nice to see you too Sakura." He says stepping into the house and shedding his coat.
I take his coat and hang it up on the coat rack as I shut the door. "You had a hood you know." I say turning back to him with a sigh.
He laughs and shakes the snow from his hair at me. "And miss walking in the first real snow, not a chance." He says slipping out of his boots.
I glare at him and head into the kitchen to see how the stew is going. "Food won't be done for another half an hour." I say as I open the stew pot and stir.
Kiba shrugs. "Didn't come over for the food." He says throwing his school bag on the kitchen table and pulling his books out. He casts a look over at me and a slow smirk spreads across his face.
I raise my eye brow at him suspiciously. "What's that look for?" I ask leaning forward on the counter.
Kiba laughs and strides over to the other side of the counter and copies my pose. "Oh nothing. Comfortable?" He asks with a smirk.
I sigh realizing he is talking about my attire. "I can go change if you want your clothes back." I reply annoyed. I almost feel bad that I'm being this grouchy with Kiba...almost.
Kiba shakes his head, a smirk still on his face still. "Nope, they look good on you." He says casually pushing away from the counter.
I sigh and shake my head. Normally I would blush at Kiba saying something like that, but I'm really not in the mood today. "I don't feel good today so could you try and tone all that down." I say waving my hands around at Kiba.
I didn't really think about it until I saw Kiba round the corner of the island and come towards me. I probably shouldn't have said that I didn't feel good, I know how worried Kiba can get. "Do you have a fever?" He asked putting his hand on my forehead.
I swat his hand away annoyed. "No I do NOT have a fever. A head ache maybe but no fever." I grumble walking back into the living room and over to the fire place. I think Kiba is following but when I turn around he's nowhere to be seen.
I begin to start a fire, wanting the living room warm for when the others get here. I stand brushing my clothes off and go to check on the stew but turn right into Kiba. "Here, take these." He says holding out his hand with two Advil.
I sigh and take the pills from him and then the glass of water he offers me. Glaring at him I swallow them. "Are you done now?" I ask almost at my limit. Is he really this way all the time?
He laughs and nods. "For now." He grins taking my glass into the kitchen for me.
I grumble under my breath as the doorbell rings. I take a deep breath and go to the door to find Hinata standing on the front porch. I smile at her, thankful that she's here to keep Kiba at bay now. "Save me." I mouth to her as she steps into the house.
She raises her eye brow at me. "Uhhh, what's wrong?" She asks slipping her shoes off and unzipping her jacket.
I roll my eyes at her. "Kiba is driving me crazy, and he's only been here fifteen minutes." I mutter taking her coat and hanging it up next to Kibas.
Hinata chuckles softly. "How is he possibly doing that?" She asks taking her bag into the living room and setting it on the couch.
I glance over my shoulder to see if Kiba is coming. Thankful he's still occupied in the kitchen I lean towards Hinata. "I may have said I don't feel good." I whisper to her.
She sighs and shakes her head. "He's fussing over you now isn't he?" she asked in a hushed voice.
I groan. "Yes, and it's not that big of a deal just the monthly head ache." I grumble, the annoyance for Kiba rising to the surface.
Hinata chuckles a knowing chuckle. "Should have kept your mouth shut." She teases me with a smile.
The doorbell rings again. "I got it." Calls Kiba rushing out of the kitchen and sliding towards the door in his socks. Choji and Shikamaru step in from the cold and take their shoes off.
"We almost didn't make it in time." Choji said cheerfully walking into the living room with a large sack that could only be full of snacks.
"I was on time, study group may be a drag but even I know I need to study." Shikamaru said dully flopping down on the couch.
"Hey, hey, hey, guys tone down all of this." Kiba says waving his hands around at the boys. "Sakura has a head ache so shhh."
Kiba is a great guy don't get me wrong but at this very moment I want to smack him upside the head. I see Choji and Shikamaru nod and quit bickering as Hinata laughs quietly. "Kiba shut up already." I say through gritted teeth.
Shikamaru sighs and Choji lets a long breath out. "How bout we eat and then get started?" Hinata suggests. I can tell that my grouchy mood is effecting everyone, great.
I nod and head towards the kitchen. I just have to get though the next few hours and then I can lie down and watch television. "Let's get this over with." I grumble.
