Deep in one of the small caves of the Hollow Earth, it's protector, and King, the mighty Kong woke up from a long sleep and shook his head, remembering the dream he had.

Thunder, lightning, blood and roaring was all he heard, all he heard when he entered the world, his mother, the only one he truly knew for mere minutes while his father was slaughtered. And then, he watched as his mother was then killed, by the Skullcrawlers with one mournful cry, Kong awoke from his sleep.

Kong: That dream...again *sighs*

Kong yawned and got up out of his cave for his morning stroll and looked around at the crisp clear environment, walking along the grass and then coming across a Monarch facility, nestled near one of the exits

Kong turned and noticed a familiar figure on a cliffside smiling, Jia.

Kong: *smiles and goes over* Jia

Jia: *signs* "Friend?"

Kong: *signs* "Yes"

Jia smiled and nodded, signing "always" back at Kong. Then, Dr Ilene Andrews, Jia's adopted mother came to check on her daughter with the Titan.

Ilene: *signs* "You two getting along?"

Jia: *smiles, nodding*

The moment was interrupted when Dr Nathan Lind arrived to greet Andrews, since the Hong Kong incident, he had become a father figure to Jia and had since been partners with Andrews ever since, being second in command of Monarch's operations in the Hollow Earth.

Nathan: Ilene, I got some news.

Ilene: Good or bad?

Nathan: Bad, we lost another search unit.

Ilene: *sighs* Dammit, that makes 3 in just a week...

Nathan: Same causes, unknown. Not a Warbat nor hellhawk could have done it the damage or leave the victims in such a state.

Ilene: We'll order any and all next search units or environment groups to be halted until we can find out what's going on.

Both Andrews and Lind look up at Kong still smiling at Jia

Nathan: It may not be long for... whatever it is to come after him.

Ilene: He can take care of himself, we both know that. Especially Jia.

Andrews nodded in agreement, although still uneasy about the unknown threat
