Kong was later out on his path like normal, wandering the great landscape of the Hollow Earth. Looking around for prey or other Titans, nearby was a Monarch surveillance drone watching his movement, Kong didn't mind however he jumped from a small ledge onto lower ground and continued walking.

Until a sudden strong, hideous smell entered his nostrils and he grunted in annoyance.

Kong: What is that..?? *He goes to investigate as the smell got stronger*

He knew it all too well the smell, the smell of blood and dead flesh. Jesus, did it smell putrid, Kong carried on, he went into a cavern where the smell came from and stepped back in shock as he saw what was the source of the stench.

It was a large turtle like creature, a Kamoebas, dead and bloodied. Kong approached the corps as did the Monarch surveillance drone. The Monarch officials watching looked in disgust but also sympathy

Monarch Scientist: What happened here?

Monach Scientists 2: Not sure, but from the look of the area *the drone looks around more* A crime scene.

Kong walked around, inspecting the corpse, growling in sympathy he placed his hand over the creature's neck to check a pulse, confirming it was indeed dead.

Kong: Hm, what happened to you?

Kong however then heard a strange chattering noise and looked to his left, what he saw surprised him. The surveillance drone also turned.

It was a strange bug like creature eating a piece of the turtle creature's flesh, it turned from it's meal to see Kong. Around it were other dead bugs just like it.

Kong: *growls*

The bug jumped and latched onto Kong's arm biting him, Kong yelped in pain before grabbing it and....biting it's head off, charming. 

Kong: Hm, tastes weird, yet edible...

Kong left the cave and Monarch sent a recovery drone to pick up one of the other dead bugs, one that wasn't too damaged and take it back to the labs for analysis
