A beautiful girl could be seen walking towards her high school. She's just that beautiful that everybody in the streets was looking at her.

This is Itan private high school. A very well known prep school. These are our protag's for this story. Tadano and Nokido have been friend since middle school.

Tadano: (I've always been average. Nokido had always been popular since we became friends. But we both got into this school. I can't get ahead of myself. For now my goal is, To read the room and not make waves at high school. That's all i need and want!)

Tadano is a coward.

Tadano started hyperventilating.

Tadano: (It's not like i stood out in middle school! It's not like i made a fool out of myself! Not at all!)

Nokido: You done?

This is Nokido. He used to be viewed as a scary person until Tadano became his friend. Once everybody saw how he really was he became popular so he was sent here. Once he noticed he did that he blushed.

Tadano: (embarrassed) Yeah.

A girl walks beside them.

Tadano: (Greeting's are important) Our lockers are close together which means were in the same class, Good mor-

He then saw her face.

Tadano: (Wow! So beautiful! Praise prep school! Long live prep school!)

Nokido: What what is it?

Nokido looked where he was looking and saw the girl he was looking at.

Nokido: Oh. Hi! Good morning.

She then turned like a brick and stared at us with a gaze that looked scary.

Tadano: (EHHH?! Did i do something wrong?!)

She then speed walked away from them.

Nokido: (She's like me from middle school.)

Tadano: Nokido did i do something wrong?

Nokido: No you didn't. She's just shy. Let's get to class.

Tadano: Y-yeah. (What was that just now?)

Tadano look over to her locker and saw her name.

Tadano: Komi?

Nokido: Huh?

Tadano: Her name is komi.

Nokido: Oh okay.

They then headed off to class. When they got it they took their seats. Except there's one problem.

Nokido sits right next to Komi. Tadano sits in front of him.

Tadano then noticed everybody looking at her. Some even had their phones out recording her.

Tadano: (Komi. Although it's the first day of school, She's already the most admired girl here.)

Nokido: (Oh great. I'm sitting next to the new girl. I don't have anything against her. It's just that now.

Nokido looked up and saw people looking at him with evil grins.

Nokido: (Everybody want's my seat.)

The teacher came inside and everybody calmed down.

Teacher: Introduce yourselves.

Everybody took turns introducing until it she asked Komi. She stood up but didn't say anything. She then walked up to the board and wrote her name. When she came back everybody cheered like she saved the school.

Tadano: Huh?

Teacher: Next.

She continued the introductions like it's nothing.

Fast forward Nobody was paying attention. Everybody was still staring at Komi besides Nokido.

Nokido: (Everybody is staring at her. I get that she's pretty. But it that all they view her as?)

He notice she dropped her eraser as it hit his feet. He picked it up.

Nokido: Hey you dropped your eraser.

Suddenly a compass flew passed his hand. He looked behind him and saw a ninja looking guy?

Nokido: Huh.

He started shaking really intimidatingly until Nokido shot him a terrifying glare out of annoyance.

Nokido: Do we have a problem?

He started shaking again but this time out of fear.

???: N-no

Nokido: That's what i thought. It's just a eraser. Here you go.

He put the eraser on her desk. She noticed and looked at him but started shaking.

Nokido: You don't have to say anything Komi.

Komi looked in shock, But calmed down and didn't say anything.

Fast forward after class everybody came rushing at Komi to ask her stuff. Nokido noticed Tadano got knocked out. Nokido narrowed his eyes but noticed the girl looking at him. He turned toward's her and gave her a smile.

Nokido: He's fine. Just knocked out.

She gave a sigh of relief. She noticed that he fell asleep. She seemed confused but saw his sleeping face.

Komi: (C-cute.)

Fast forward again Tadano was starting to wake up but heard her talking.

Komi: Why can't i talk in front of anyone anymore?

Tadano stood up quickly.

Komi/Tadano: Meow/ Oh no! Gym class is next! Nokido wake up-

They turned towards eachother as they both realized. 1. they were the only ones still in the classroom. 2 Tadano heard her say meow.

Nokido: What tadano?

He slowly pointed a finger at Komi. Nokido turned around and looked at her and realized the situation.

Nokido: (She must have said something and he heard her.

They all looked at eachother for a while.

Tadano: Uhh. I didn't hear anything.

As quick as possible she got up and ran towards the door. Tadano panicked while Nokido stayed calm.

Nokido: You're not good at talking to other people aren't you?

She suddenly stopped and turned around.

Tadano: Hey Nokido! Wasn't that kinda rude-

She tried to say something but she started shaking again.

Nokido: So i was right.

Tadano: She really isn't good at speaking.

She nodded.

Nokido: Come on. Let's clean up.

They then started fixing the desks up.

Tadano: So what was it you were trying to say just now?

She started shaking again trying to say something.

Nokido: (She's worse than i was) Hey try saying it on the board.

She suddenly grew cat ears and ran towards the board and started writing on it.

'How did you know that i wasn't good at talking to people?'

Nokido: When we first spoke to you you were shaking and looked scared.

Tadano: I guess i knew because of your reactions. Has anyone else noticed?

'No.'

Tadano: Oh wow. (I've already run out of things to say!)

Nokido: Hey next is gym class right? We should get going.

As Nokido was leaving, Komi turned around and grabbed his shirt. She tried speaking again but failed so she wrote on the board.

Nokido: (I guess she want's to say something.)

She finished writing and side stepped.

'I couldn't eat my lunch.'

Nokido: (I'm not surprised, considering how popular she's gotten.

Tadano: Are you hungry?

She frantically wrote something else that shocked them.

'I really do want to speak.'

She continued writing.

'My face freezes around other people. I guess I'm scared but i wan't to speak. But when i approach people they get nervous. Some faint or even cower in dirt. I think they hate me. No. I KNOW they hate me'

When she was writing this Nokido started having flashbacks to his middle school years. He had a shadow over his face.

Nokido: (Like... me.)

Tadano: (There's been a huge misunderstanding.)

She continued writing.

'When i was in junior high, it was so hard, Especially during lunch. I hated eating alone. Everyone would chat and eat. I was so lonely. I tried to talk everyday for three years, but my voice wouldn't come out. No matter how hard i tried. I couldn't talk to anyone. What should i do? How can i talk? What should i do after that? What if they reject me? What should i say next? What if they say I'm boring? If i can't smile right then what? What should i do?'

The chalk broke off. She started hiccuping like she was crying. She kept writing.

' I wanted to ask you two to eat lunch with me.'

Tadano: (She went through so much just to say one thing. Like Nokido did. Komi is hard to talk to or even approach.)

Tadano thought she was crying so he handed her a handkerchief.

Tadano: Here. Use this.

She wrote again.

'I had hiccups.'

Tadano: Huh? Did they stop?

She wrote.

'Yes thanks'

Tadano: No problem.

She continued writing.

'I can't even say good morning. Everyone else can do it, but i can't. Fun thing's. Happy thing's. Talking about mistakes. Studying. Last night's TV show. I can't even talk about the weather. I'm sorry. I'm sorry i bothered you Nokido and Tadano. I don't know how to make it up to you.

Tadano: Huh? Were you bothering us?

She ignored him and continued writing.

'Anyways i thought i should apologize. I'm sorry. I'm sorry i wrote so much. Go ahead and forget what you saw here today. Goodbye.'

She then put the chalk down and erased everything. She turned around and bowed. She then started walking away. Nokido then walked up to the board and wrote something. She turned around and looked in shock.

'It's the same for me.'

She looked at him for a moment and grabbed a second chalk.

'What do you mean?'

He looked at her then continued.

'Ever since middle school I was isolated. Nobody would talk or look at me. I thought i was because they didn't know be but i realized that wasn't the case. Everybody avoided me because of how i acted and looked. Nobody talked to me because they were afraid to be punched or pushed away. Nobody looked at me because they thought i was glaring. Nobody sat near me. Nobody helped me. Every time i would try to talk i would stutter. They always thought i was robbing them. Every time i went to ask for help on something i didn't understand, They would give me all they had. Money, Notes you name it, They gave it.'

Nokido started crying. Shedding a few tears. Komi and Tadano looked very concerned. He continued.

'Every girl i talked to ran away but not for the usual reasons. Even bullies in my school didn't talk to me. Teachers gave me good grades on purpose. Every time i wanted to play with someone they run away. Every time i looked at the lunch ladies they give me food that was better than what they were already serving. Every activity everybody wouldn't acknowledge me. Every group activity they wouldn't partner up with me.'

Nokido was really on the verge into bursting out into tears but continued anyway.

'Every time i got back home i would run to my room and cry. i begged my parents to move me out of that school but they never did. Every day it was the same thing like the school was stuck on repeat. Eventually i gave up on making friends and focused on myself. I never talked to anyone ever again during middle and junior high school. I've been very lonely throughout the years, Praying that someone would be my friend.'

Nokido stopped writing there and looked behind him to see Komi holding his hand. She weakly smiled at him.He blushed slightly. Tadano looked at the two of them and smiled as well.

He continued writing.

'During junior high i was still viewed like that. I tried desperately to stay positive through my years but i gave in. I thought i was going to be alone forever.'

Tadano looked shocked to what he wrote next.

'Until i met Tadano.'

Nokido smiled weakly and continued.

'Tadano changed my life. He made me realize not to give up. I may have acted cold towards him but i wanted to see if this wasn't a dream, and it wasnt. He genuinely wanted to be my friend. I almost cried when i heard this. Someone wanted to be my friend. After that i started going back to normal. To this day people still view me as scary sometimes. If it wasn't for him i wouldn't be the same.'

Nokido finally put the chalk down.

Komi: (He's like me.)

Silence later Tadano walked up and wrote something.

'Isn't the weather nice?'

And this started them writing and talking about different things just as she hoped. She wrote her goal.

'I want to make 100 friends. Please don't laugh.'

Tadano smiled and wrote.

'We'll be your first friends. And we'll help you with the other 98. Right?'

Nokido than wrote.

'Yeah.'

She looked shocked and wrote something. Than they both blushed.

'Thank you so much.'

They noticed she blushed as well. She turned around and ran away.

Tanado: Hey Komi!

Nokido: Let her go. We are her first friends after all.

Tanado blushed again.

But what they didn't know was that Komi was Behind the door blushing.

The next day

Nokido and Tadano were at their lockers again when Komi came inside the school.

Nokido: Good morning Komi.

Tanado: Good morning!

Komi tried to say good morning but couldn't.

As they was walking to class Tanado started a conversation.

Tadano: We've got to start with some vocal exercises. Try saying "Let's be friends." If you can say that, You'll have 100 friends in no time!

Komi grew cat ears again and tried to say it but turned into stone.

Tanado: Komi?!

She held up one finger.

Tanado: Ok one more time then.

Nokido: (The road of 100 friends starts.)
