Couple days have pass now, So far Komi has gain some more friends lately. She became friends like Yadano Makeru.

But I would also they that Yadano is a self-addressed rival of Komi Shouko too. She is often seen struggling on her own, pretending as if Komi has accepted her rivalry each time being defeated by Shouko's results.

And another friend Komi has made, Omoharu Nakanaka.

Now Omoharu is an interesting friend and character: She is a Chuunibyou, which is a person, typically a teenager, who has grandiose delusions, who desperately want to stand out, and who have convinced themselves that they have hidden knowledge or secret powers. In Nakanaka's case, upon her introduction, she believes that she is "Arsot Les Primavera" and that Komi Shouko is Princess Komilia, although the full story that she's referencing with this is never revealed in universe. She loves anime, manga, and video games. When they go to her house, her room illustrates this, as the walls are decorated with dozens of posters from her favorite franchises.

One morning day at school, class was about to start any moment, Komi was already at her seat and (YN) barely arriving too...

(YN): Morning Komi, how-

He notices Komi shaking in fear...

(YN): Already?? Uh...what's bothering you this time?

Komi pulls out a pice of mail and hands it to (YN)...

(YN): A mail? *what is to that she wants to tell me that is making her so nervous?*

(YN) opens the letter mail, and to see a handwriting of Komi that says...

"The bed bug bite the bed."

(YN): ...is this some kind of code?

Komi: *nods saying no*

(YN): Oh? Then??

She shows her notebook...

"I saw on TV that humor is important to communicate. So I wrote down that made me laugh."

(YN): Ooh. Well, it's more important when you choose the right situation to tell someone a joke.

Komi:💡 !

She wrote down her notebook for another joke...

"I don't trust umbrella's, they can be shady."

(YN): I mean it is rainy season...O-Oh wait! Sorry, heh, I didn't mean to say your joke was bad or anything. Maybe if the joke was told out loud, then it'll have some impact.

Komi: ....

She slowly stood up from her desk, and while looking at (YN), she walks out of the room...

(YN): Uh..where is she going-

His phone rings and answers his phone...and it was Komi who called and told him a joke through phone...

Komi: Aluminum can..be an aluminum can.

(YN) Mind: ...That is one bad terrible jokes and the fact is a dad joke...

Komi comes back and sits down on her desk...and shows her notebook and trembles again...

"So, is it funny"

(YN): *Should I even tell her it was bad.? Dad jokes aren't really funny...*

Then suddenly, Najimi and Tadano arrived...

Najimi: Hey you two!

Tadano: Morning.

(YN): Yo.

Najimi: Man, this season can be so humid, such a drag too. Oh, and also...I found this written joke in my shoe cubby.

(YN): Seriously..?? ....*realization* Komi.

Komi: ...

Tadano: Komi wrote that? What for?

(YN): You see...

(YN) tell them about Komi trying to tell jokes as a good way for her to practice her communication...

Najimi: Oh, we get it now. Kinda thought this was some kind of coded death threat, something like that. But hey, I got a joke for you, (YN)!

Tadano: Oh boy...

(YN): A joke? For me? ...okay then.

Najimi: Why did the chicken cross the road?

(YN): ...To get to the other side?

Najimi: Nope! To talk to the little bitch, haha!

(YN): *sarcastically* Haha, very funny, but that joke inappropriate for Komi around her.

Komi: ??

(YN): Don't listen to "them" Komi, "they're" just dumb.

Najimi: Haha, I'm sorry I'm sorry. Hehe.

Tadano/Komi/(YN): ....

Najimi: ....Knock Knock.

(YN): ...Who's there?

Najimi: The chicken!

(YN): You mother-

(YN) starts chasing Najimi for the knock knock joke she was told to (YN)...

Later on that day, during school, it was lunch break, (YN) Komi Tadano and Najimi were sitting together as Najmi says...

Najimi: Hey Komi, so where do you usually go buy your clothes?

"I never buy clothes of my own."

(YN)/Najimi/Tadano Mind: She's never bought them before???

Najimi: So, what do you do on your days off? Curious that's all.

"I'm usually home all day."

(YN)/Najimi/Tadano Mind: Thats so sad.

Najimi: Alright then, that's it! Today we are taking you to the mall!

Komi: *gasps*

She writes her response...

"I appreciate your invitation, but...I'm scared."

(YN) Mind: Scared??

Najimi: Haha! There's nothing to be scared of, I'm being Tadano with me, especially (YN)!

(YN)/Tadano: Wait what?

Tadano Mind: Is it even alright to go shopping with girls like them? They'll be changing and stuff.

(YN): *So embarrassed, but also weird too. Even Komi is struggling to decide.* Id love to, but I'll pass on this-

Najimi: Too late! You're both coming. Also, (YN) I need you to go as well for Komi.

(YN): Why-

Najimi: Her interpreter should be there, for me as well.

(YN): O-Oh...I see then.

Najimi: It's settled then! And Komi, can I invite another person with us?

Komi: Mm. *nods*

Najimi: Yay! ...Hey Agari!

Agari: Y-Yes??

Najimi: Wanna go clothe shopping with us at the mall?

Agari: Shopping? O-Oh! You mean have Komi walk her dog like me? Sure! I-I love to go for a walk!

Najimi: Okay, but it's not a walk..

After schooo, Najimi Komi (YN) Tadano and Agari head and arrive to the mall ...

Najimi: Okay, let's do a lap around the whole building and see which shop we go.

Yamai: Hey!

They turn and notice Yamai here at the mall too and approaches to them...

(YN) Mind: Oh great, this chick.

Yamai: Hey guys! And hello to you too Komi! What a coincidence!

(YN)/Tadano/Najimi: *Doesn't even feel coincidence.*

Yamai: It looks like you're all shopping. Can I join you guys?

Najimi: Uh, yea sure..

Yamai: Great! So, Komi. What fashion do you like to wear?

Komi: O-Oh...

Najimi: I mean you have your own clothes, right? What style are they?

"My mom buys my clothes so I don't have a type of fashion."

(YN) Mind: Her mom does??

"I've always wanted to buy clothes for when I go out, but I don't even know what clothes to look for.*

Tadano/Agari Mind: Totally understandable.

Najimi: Okay then! Let the "Komi Dress Up Contest" begin!!!

Tadano/Agari/Yamai: A contest where we have Komi wear whatever we want her to wear?!

(YN): Since when the hell was this a contest?

Najimi: Rules are simple: just pick an outfit for Komi that's under 10,000 yen. She'll model them and we'll give them a score, and she can buy the outfit that scores the highest!

Yamai: When do we start?!

Agari: I-I'll foo my best for Komi!

Tadano: Shouldn't we all decide together?

(YN): I'm still lost at this point but okay I guess..

Najimi: Okay! Ready! Set! GO!!!

Najimi Yamai and Agari scatter at the store to look for clothes for Komi that scores the highest as Komi waits at the dressing room...meanwhile, (YN) takes Tadano with him to help him out choose an outfit for Komi...

(YN): Hey, thanks for helping me out here Hito. Not good with these type of female clothing.

Tadano: No problem man. I'll try my best to look an outfit for Komi from you.

(YN): Cool.

Tadano: Hey, how about this dress?

Tadano finds an all white dress...

(YN): Huh, good eye.

Tadano: I mean it's not perfect, but looks good, what do you think?

(YN) stares at the dress for a sec, and to picture Komi in that dress in his mind...he pictures her in that dress in different poses, of how gorgeous she'll look in this dress...and felt fluster just thinking about it.

(YN): ...She'll like it.

Tadano: Huh?

(YN): I-I mean...let's see what Komi thinks, come on.

Tadano: ..Oookay then.

At the dressing room...

Najimi: Okay! Thank you all for waiting! It looks like Komi is ready to come out! Here she is! First of, My choice of her outfit!

Komi comes out of the dressing room and reveals Najimi's outfit choice...

Agari/Yamai: So beautiful!

Najimi: Woo-Hoo! Nothing beats a qipao, huh?

Tadano: ...

(YN): You just want to see her in that outfit...

Agarai gave it a 7, Yamai gave it a 8, Najimi gives it a 10, Tadano gives it a 5, and (YN) gives it a 3, and Komi gives it a 4, a total of 37 points...

Next up, Yamai's outfit choice...

Najimi: Next up, Yamai's selection! Which did surpass our 10,000 yen limit!

Yamai: Oh what? The price? Don't worry, I'll happily buy it for her.

(YN): Thats a bit much, don't you think..?

Yamai scores it a 10, Najimi Tadano and Agari didn't know how to score it, but (YN) scores it's a -5 and Komi 0. Which means Yamai is disqualified for not following the rules.

(YN)/Tadano/Najimi/Yamai: Lame.

Agari: E-Eh? You guys don't like it?

All scores it a 2, and (YN) a 1, a total of 9...

And lastly, (YN)'s outfit choice, with Tadano's help...

(YN): So, Tadano help me out with this outfit. Since he knows some about women's fashion and I don't...so yeah. But I also like this pick he got, and think it'll be great for Komi.

Najimi: Okay!

(YN) then walks up to Komi as she was hiding behind the curtains of the dressing room, and (YN) felt a bit flustered from being close to her in the dressing room...

(YN): S-So...here you go, Komi.

Komi: Mmm.

Komi changes into (YN)'s outfit choice...

Najimi: Okay, the final selection! Come on out, Komi.

Komi comes out of the dressing room, and to reveal (YN)'s outfit choice...

And just like that, (YN) already picture her in that dress and he can tell Komi felt comfortable with that dress, she gave it a 10, especially everyone else have it a 10....but Komi blush to see (YN)'s score...

Najimi: Huh? Komi, why are you-

Najimi notices (YN)'s score she gave her on that outfit, it was a 12...she gave a smug look...

Najimi: Oooho~what's with the 2 extra points, (YN)?

(YN) quickly flustered and looks away...

(YN): You got a problem with that..?

Najimi: Hehe! Nope! Unless you wanna say something to Komi about your outfit Choice-

(YN): Najimi!

Najimi: Hehe, fine fine...And we have a winner! (YN)!!

After mall shopping, Najimi and the utters walk back home together and Komi holding her new outfit from (YN)...she looks at it in the bag for a sec, and to then look at (YN)...and to tug his shirt on the side...

(YN): O-Oh, hey Komi, what's up?

She gently blush, and to say..

Komi: I-I...I like..it. Thank..you.

He flustered the fact Komi likes the dress (YN) got her, thanks to Tadano too...he then gently smiled at her and responds...

(YN): Glad you do.
