-AUTHOR's POV-

Komi walks down the hallway to go looking for (YN) as she decides to have a word with him, knowing his story Tadano told her, all he needed is a friend besides Tadano with him, and that what she will do...only problem is, it'll be really difficult for her to talk with him knowing her being so nervous and shy. But she will have to try her hardest to do so to help him. She stops and arrives to a classroom, looks in and notices somebody sitting down at their desk, she takes a closer look who it is, and surprise surprise, it was (YN). She gave gave a slight gasp and quickly hides, she takes some deep breathes in and out, pumps herself up, and to then walk in the classroom, and finding out (YN) is actually alone in the room, with no students and teachers, just him, alone, doing some work. She slowly approach to him and (YN) notices her...

(YN): Oh, it's you again.

Komi: ....

(YN): Say, where's Tadano? Wasn't he with you helping with something?

Komi: ...

. . . The silence was so loud. Komi was trying her best to try say something...

(YN): ...Sooo, I'm guessing Tadano has some stuff to do? And...do you need something??

Komi now has her chance to respond his questions, so she slightly opens her mouth to say something...but, she doesn't know what to say or even try to even talk about, she got stuck with some words, and started stuttering.

(YN): H-Hey! What's wrong?? Calm down!

Komi stood stiff after, and to look down and feel a bit embarrassed...

(YN): Uhh...is there something you wanna say??

Komi gasps and nods...

(YN): Okay...what is it??

Komi again stood still, holding her hands this time, and to try talk to (YN)...but again started shaking, nervous again to try talking...(YN) didn't even look annoyed or bother of Komi trying....

He looked...upset, and down somehow, (YN) then says...

(YN): Heh, guess the rumors are true.

Komi: .?.?.

(YN): People like you are still scared of me to try talking with me, or get near me after what I did back at that stupid school dance back at Junior High. And the way I've changed so much....I understand.

Komi: ..???

(YN) gets up and grabs his stuff and outing his work away in his backpack...

(YN): It's not you, don't take it the wrong way...it's me. Ive never been like this, until that day...I've change, a lot. You wouldn't understand. So...yeah.

Komi: ...

(YN): I'm..gonna head out. Schools about to end anytime soon...It was nice meeting you, I guess...see ya, and if you see Tadano, tell him I said Hi.

(YN) starts to walk away, as Komi turns and watched him about to leave the room. But she didn't wanted him to leave, she wants to talk with him, try get through his past and become who he was before just like Tadano told her, she has to think quickly to get his attention before he leaves the room. Then, her cat ears raise as she looks at the chalkboard, she runs towards it...and to cause a loud screech sounds by scratching the chalkboard with her nails, and (YN) hearing that noise and gettin leg cringy chills by that noise...

(YN): AHH!! Damn it!! Hey, what was that for?!?

Komi stood quiet as she grabs a chalk, and starts writing on the chalk board. She finish it and points it for (YN) to read it....it says...

"Don't leave, I've been meaning to try talk with you."

(YN):...Well, if you are, why just do it?? Or what, you're to scared to talk with me.

She again wrote...

"It's not that I'm scared to talk to you...I'm scared to have a conversation with any people I try talking with."

(YN): Wait, what??

This is where Komi gets the chance to have a talk with him....she takes a breathe in...and started to wrote down...and (YN) reads what Komi writes on the board...

"I do really intend to talk and speak up, only problem is...my face freezes up every time I do so around with people. You can say I'm scared, but I do want to speak. It when I do approach to people, I get nervous. Some faint, or even cower in dirt. It's like they hate me."

(YN): I don't think they hate you just cause you're scared of speaking...that's just dumb.

Komi continued to write and (YN) reads what she wrote...

"When I was in Junior High, it was so hard, especially during lunch. I hated eating alone, everyone else would chat and eat and enjoy...but as for me, I'd be lonely. I tried to talk everyday for three years...I don't even know how to even start to talk. I always think to myself "What do I do after? Will they reject me if I say something dumb? What do I even say next? What if they think I'm boring? What should I even do?"...I can't even say good morning, everyone else can, but I can't. Not even fun things, happy things. Not even about studying, shows, or anything fun...the reason I came here is wanting to talk with you...here I thought I could try have a little conversation with you, but I guess I can't even do that as well...."

(YN) Mind: Oh man...that's rough. No wonder she had trouble speaking and stutters a lot. She's been going through so much trying to talk ever since Junior High....just like me when I was going through down stuff...

She then keeps writing...

"So, yeah. That's all you have to know about me. Sorry if I came by and bothered you...but I hope you understand. And sorry if I wrote alot, you can go ahead and forget what you saw..."

Komi then puts the chalk down, and to erase the sentence she wrote, a way of her to talk with. She turns to (YN), bows her head, meaning to say goodbye. And to walk....

(YN) Mind: I honestly feel bad for her. She really has it rough more than me...difference is she's scared to talk to people, and the people are scared to talk to me...maybe I can help with that.

Komi was in her thoughts, as she tried her best to talk with (YN)...guess it didn't work out as she planned...and she probably thinks (YN) already finds her weird....

Then suddenly, she heard chalk being written on the board, as she was inches away from leaving the room, and to turn around and (YN) wrote ...

(YN)
"You didn't bother me, don't worry...and I understand."

With that said, This is Komi's chance to talk with him in her way, and have a chance to get along with him...she walks back, grabs another chalk, and began "chatting" with (YN)...

Komi
"That's a relief, good to hear it from you. :)"

(YN)
"Yeah....Nice to meet you by the way, Names (YN)(LN).

Komi
"Nice to meet you (YN)....Shouko, Shouko Komi, but you can call me Komi better.

(YN)
"Cool, nice to meet you too, Komi. Nice day out there, huh?"

Komi can see (YN) is now less intimidating and less serious, as if he wants to smile, but can't, but will happen soon. So, they've began to communicate with each other on the board, they've "talk" about their hobbies, what they like to do on their free time, and more about themselves. Komi mentioned (YN) about Tadano telling her about his story, and felt sorry for her for the awful things they've done to him...(YN) didn't care about it and didn't wanted to talk/think much about it, Komi understood, and they kept "chatting" still...

Half an hour later, school has ended as (YN) grabs his backpack...

(YN): Mm, guess it's the end for today.

Komi: *nods*

(YN): Right. Say, Komi...you said you wanted to have 100 friends, right? And Tadano is helping you?

Komi: *nods*

(YN): Well...I can help out too, you know, Tadano can be a bit difficult when it comes to talk with girls. Trust me, I've seen him.

Komi writes down on her notebook....

"That would be kind of you to do so. Thank you."

(YN): Anytime...and Komi?

Komi: ?

(YN): It's fun, talking with you. I hope we get to talk a lot like this more...if you're okay?

Komi then suddenly gasps with Rei elf and to suddenly blush to the fact (YN) wants to keep talking with her more, and how fun it is to talk with too, which made her feel happy about it, she writes her notebook...

"I'd be happy to talk with you too. You're fun as well to chat with."

(YN) scratches his head behind, and to grew this slight feeling he's getting just the way Komi is looking at her...

(YN): Sure. Well, see ya tomorrow then. I'll let Tadano know.

(YN) walks out of the classroom, Komi stood there for a moment, and felt happy she gets to get along and chat with (YN), and more happy she and him and now friends, which makes him his 2nd friend, and 98 more to go.

Outside of the school, (YN) was walking his way to his home, he pulls out his phone and gives a call to Tadano....

Tadano: Hello?

(YN): Yo Tadano, it's (YN).

Tadano: O-Oh! Hey man, what's up?

(YN): Oh, nothing much...just that my days...gotten hood lately. I got to talk with the new girl, Komi.

Tadano: R-Really??!

(YN): Yeah, she's pretty cool...and I'll be helping her get her new friends, if that's too much to ask for you?

Tadano: Oh! No, not at all. I could use the help. Means a lot, well means alot to her of course...I hope things didn't turn out weird afterwards?

(YN) stood quiet...and to think earlier of his conversation with Komi, and imagining her in his head too....he then says..

(YN): No, not at all. It turn out well....She seems a good person as well...she and I will get along just fine.
