Mickey Jones had lost everything, her dad was stuck in hospital, Tibby didn't love her anymore, even when she returned back to her world, her family were separated again, so here she was, at the edge of the cliff just off Kollok, where no one would find her.

Or so she thought.

"Mickey?" The depressed teen heard the voice of an old friend, a male that she adored dearly.

"Please leave" Mickey whispered, looking out over the glistening water, she could see the rocks from here, it would be a quick death.

"What's going on?" Terrance asked, taking a step towards her.

"I hate this place, I want to leave it" Mickey said, her voice filled with hurt.

Terrance took another step closer, reaching his hand out to Mickey.

"Then let's get out of here together, just come a little closer to me" Terrance said softly, holding his hand out to her.

Mickey took a small step backwards, her foot slipping against the dirt, which made her closer to the cliff.

"Please princess, please come closer to me" Terrance whispered to her, taking a step closer.

"Terrance, you know I can't" Mickey told him, taking another step back.

"Yes you can, let me help, I'm here for you" Terrance's voice was gentle and kind, Mickey took another step back, her foot slipping again as she fell to the rocky water.

Terrance screamed as he watched her fall, jumping down after her.

He pulled Mickey closer to him, bringing his arms around her.

Mickey watched as a pair of pitch black wings sprout out of Terrance's back, lifting them back into the air a little.

"I'm going to land us in the water, hold on tight" Terrance told the female in his arms as he closed his wings, diving to the water.

Mickey held on tight as the cold water covered them, she went the wings flap them back up to the surface.

Mickey felt the summer air enter her lungs as she took a deep breath the second her head was back above the surface.

She felt Terrance swim them back to the side of the lake, Mickey felt too weak to swim, just holding onto her old friend as they got to dry land.

Both of their hair was soaking wet as the two hugged.

"What were you thinking?" Terrance asked, his wings made their way back into his back.

"I don't know, I'm sorry" Mickey whispered, she was cold and tired.

"Don't apologise, lets get you back to town" Terrance said, picking up the small female who cuddled up in his arms.

Terrance made the small walk to Kollok, holding Mickey close.

He made his way back to town,questioning what or who made Mickey jump, he knew about the relationship issues Mickey was having, he also knew Tibby was her world.

He brought Mickey to her apartment, finding the door was unlocked.

He sat her down on the couch, Mickey held her arms up for him, smiling softly as Terrance hugged.

"Want me to get you a hot drink?" Terrance asked, Mickey nodded and cuddled up on the couch.

Terrance watched her while he made her hot chocolate, she was covered by a blanket and her head rested on a pillow.

He finished making her drink and handed it to her, Mickey smiled softly.

"Thanks Ter" Mickey said softly, taking a sip of her drink.

Terrance sat down next to her, hugging her.

"What happened princess?" He asked the girl in his arms.

"Tibby and I have been fighting....dad got put in hospital...my friends hate me" Mickey explained, her voice was quiet.

Terrance hugged her close "it's not a reason for you to leave, there's people here who love you so much" he told her, he knew that things were going to be rocky now, but as long as Mickey's safe that's the only thing he cared for.
