Mickey's POV

I watched over Kollok from the roof of the apartment complex, I could see everything in the town, thanks to the help of Tibby, who's found out that he can make our sight incredibly strong.

I saw someone running, Lexi and Marcus on his tail, here's my chance.

"Let go of him, I've got him" I whispered into my earpiece.

"On it, see you when it's done"  Lexi said, she and Marcus split ways, the man heard and turned, realising that he wasn't being chased anymore, nows my time to move.

I took a step off towards the edge, then another, then another, until I was finally at the edge, I took a step off the building, falling through the air.

My silver hair flew upwards, my cape did the same, my mask helped me not get dust in my eyes as I fell.

My heels hit the ground lightly, barley making a noise as I landed, my skirt fell against my legs as I took a step forward, my blank shirt remained un dirtied, my cape fell against my arms.

I started sprinting, my feet didn't make a sound as I ran, I hardly made a sound as I ran past the side of the buildings, coming out right behind the man, who was stood still , probably searching for Lexi and Marcus, we always worked in pairs, never prying against our partners.

"You know, you've made this whole ordeal a mess" I said to him, he jumped and swiftly turned to look at me.

He was young, no older than 17, with blonde hair and dark grey eyes, he was taller than, but then again most people were, he had been one of the ones we were trying to find for months.

"H-how the hell did you get there, I didn't even here you" he asked,I shrugged my shoulders.

"Not sure, but I'm here and I need to deal with you" I said to him, he froze, realising I'm a hero as well.

"I'm not letting you take me, I've gone to far to end it here" he said, that was the deal with everyone, they go so far with something that it feels normal, that they don't want it to end.

"Look Kid, in giving you two options, either I take you into the police or you send yourself in, and the idea that you've been caught is bad enough, to have been caught by a hero is humiliating " I said to him.

"You really think I'm going to send myself in?" He asked, I smirk.

"You have two options,you're lucky you're dealing with me, if I was any other one of my teammates then you would either be dead or dying " I lied to him, my team couldn't hurt a fly even if they wanted to.

"Take me in then" he smirked and attempted to run, Brad's barrier stopped him from going anywhere.

"What the fuck" he said quietly, I smirked.

"What's wrong?" I asked him, he turned to look at me.

"You're doing this aren't you" I laughed.

"God I wish" I replied.

"So then, what can you do?" He questioned, I gave a sick smirk and quickly changed dimensions before coming back to my prime, I still had on the appearance that Skye gave me once she chose a permanent ability, this time my skin is extremely decayed.

"What the fuck are you?" He asked.

" I'm a simple human with a gift" I replied, I noticed the fact that Em was right behind him.

"Grab him" I told her, she nodded and grabbed the mans wrists.

"What the fuck?" He said, I smiled at his reaction.

"Let's get going " Em said, her hair was a dark blue colour cut sharply in a short style, she was wearing a leather jumpsuit, probably Skye's choice, she wore a pair of grey thigh high boots and a grey mask that covered half her face.

"Let go of me freak" the man said, Em and I both shook our heads.

"Let's get going, it's almost daybreak"  I said, Em nodded and started pushing the man forward.

We walked the small distance to the police station, I saw the other members of our team waiting at the door, the guy froze when he saw how many of us there actually was.

Tibby, Skye, Marcus, Lexi, Mike, Syaka, Nick, Billy, Laura, Mallory, Emily, Brad, Bucket, Burk ( and the other two inside of him) All stood in front of us, all of them disguised that is.

Emily took a step forward, her blonde hair was curled and fell just past her shoulders, she was wearing a light blue dress that fell to her ankles, she was wearing a pair of blue flat shoes, her eyes were covered by a light blue mask that had feathers on the side.

"Your going to listen to me, and your going to obey every word that comes out of my mouth, ok" Emily said, I watched the mans eyes become dull, he nodded along, in a complete trance, Emily smirked at him , he was completely under her spell.

"You are going to let us take you into the station, you are going to confess to your crimes then let the police put you into custody, do you understand?" Emily asked him, he nodded.

The man started walking into the station, we all followed behind him.

I saw one of the usual night officers at the front desk, he looked up at us and smiled.

"You caught him, good" the officer said, he was a young guy, early twenties maybe.

"Yup, put up a pretty big fight as well " Lexi told him, the officer chuckled.

"Well, thanks guys, this ones a pretty hard case" he said, I nodded, the officer walked up to us, handcuffing the guy and taking him to a holding cell.

"Well then, the nights done, I'm assuming you're all going home" Bucket said, Tibby and I both nodded.

"Yeah, Micks and I need to get home before the girls wake up" Tibby said, I nodded, thinking about what could happen if our daughters woke up while we were still out on a run.

"Have a good night then, well probably be back at it again in a few nights " Brad said.

Everyone started walking off to our different houses, Tibby and I walked back towards our house at the edge of Kollok.

"Was it a hard night? Skye and I hardly did anything" Tibby said as our transformations disappeared, leaving us in our usual clothes.

"Lucky, Em and I went through hell and back to find that asshole" I said, he laughed.

"You want me to make you something?" Tibby asked, I shook my head.

"No thanks, your love is enough " I smiled at him, I saw him flush under the streetlights.

"You know, for a tough girl, you're pretty freaking soft around me" Tibby said, I glared at him.

"That's because your my boyfriend, I'm allowed to be soft around you" I commented, he smiled slightly.

"We should get home, the girls have school in a few hours" Tibby said, I sighed.

"Can we keep them off today? I'm exhausted " I said, he looked at me.

"We can't, the schools going to start getting mad if we keep them off so many times " Tibby said, I smiled.

"They can be mad all they want, we've been at work all night" i whined.

"Being superheroes doesn't count as a job babe" Tibby said.

"It should " I pouted, Tibby laughed again.

"I know it should, but it'll reveal our identities " Tibby said.

"Why can't we get paid to do it at least, like I get that we're saving the town from crime but hardly anyone knows it's us" I said.

"How about this, I take you out to dinner tonight for a date, we can get Bucket to babysit or something, we can have a nice night, how does that sound?" He asked, I nodded and gave him a kiss.

"Sounds great "

This is honestly just a small chapter while I work on the others, I should have more up soon, I currently have a lot of other books in also working on.
