3rd Person POV
Mickey Jones was chained to the ceiling, Mallory was chained next to her.

She stared directly at the door, trying to find a way out.

She heard the side door open, she didn't look over, neither did Mallory.

"Allsee, Scarlet, are you going to speak yet?" The man who held them captive asked, Mickey just looked over to Mallory and shrugged, which hurt her chained wrists a little.

"I don't know Allsee, are we going to speak?" Mickey asked sarcastically, Mallory shrugged as well.

"No clue, Scarlet" he responded.

"We could wait until Creator and Lightwing get here" Mickey suggested.

"You think those pathetic heroes will save you? They don't even know where you are" he asked, Mickey nodded.

"Actually, chances are they're on their way here now" Mickey said, she heard slamming on doors and explosions.

"Damn, they're here quicker than I expected" Mickey said, she pushed her feet off the floor and kicked the man.

"How?" The man asked from the floor, Mickey simply tapped her wedding ring on the chains.

"It's a connection of sorts, those we love always know where to find us" Mickey said, the side door flew open, the two masked heroes rushed in.

Tibby started working on the chains around both Mickey's and Mallory's wrists.

"Took you long enough, my wrists were going numb" Mallory said.

"My ring didn't tell me Mickey's ring was activated until a hour ago" Tibby said, Mickey smiled and hugged her husband.

"Thank you love" Mickey said softly, Billy walked over to them, his hands covered in blood.

"He's knocked out, I've already sent a message to the police telling them his crimes, he'll be locked up for 16 years minimum" Billy said, his eyes drifted to his injured husband, who was covered in cuts.

"I wanna go home" Mallory said, Billy hugged him tightly, just wanting to be in his husbands arms.

"Let's get you both home" Tibby said, Billy nodded from his husbands chest.

The four heroes walked out of the base, getting to Tibby's car.

Mickey got into the back, Mallory sat next to her, Tibby got into the drivers side and Billy the passenger side.

Mickey laid her head against the back of the seat, closing her eyes.

"I feel like shit" Mickey said softly, Mallory laughed.

"You look like shit" Mallory responded.

"I know" Mickey said

"get some sleep guys" Tibby said, Mickey pouted.

"I'm not tired" she whined.

"But you need sleep, I know as a fact you haven't slept in days" Tibby said to his wife.

"I'll sleep at home" Mickey replied as she laid her head on the back of the car seat.

"No you won't, you'll stay up working like always" Tibby said.

"I don't always do that" Mickey said, Tibby raised an eyebrow at her in the mirror.

"When have you ever went to bed before 3am recently?" Tibby asked.

Mickey thought for a second before looking at her hands and letting out a sigh.

"I don't know " Mickey said.

"Then get some sleep, please baby?" He said softly, Mickey nodded before curling up on her car seat and closing her eyes, letting her breath even out.

Billy looked over at his best friend, who looked anxious and worried.

"You ok?" Billy asked him quietly, looking at the back seat where his husband and female best friend were, both fast asleep.

"I'm doing alright, I'm just happy we've got them back" Tibby said, Billy sat back on his seat.

"How do you think he got them?" Billy asked.

"He drugged them, they've got needle holes in their necks" Tibby said, Billy sighed and looked out the window.

"I shouldn't have left them alone" Billy spoke softly to not wake the others.

"Hey, none of this is your fault" Tibby looked over to his brunette friend before to the others in the back.

"Its just scary, I hate this part of being a hero" Billy looked back at his husband as Tibby drove, occasionally looking back to the sleeping Mickey.

"Let's change the subject for now" Tibby suggested as he drove back to Kollok, Billy agreed.

"Got any ideas for the anniversary yet?" Billy asked, Tibby sighed and shook his head gently, Mickey and Tibby had been married for almost a year now, they got married the month after Tibby turned 20, it wasn't big or flashy, but it was still incredible.

"Not yet, I'm considering asking Pox and Bucket, they know what she likes, right?" Tibby barley knew what Mickey likes when it came to gifts.

"They're basically her dads, of course they know" Billy smiled at him, the two men were very close with Mickey, they were only a call away and they'd be there in a few minutes, it was one of the best parts of still living in Kollok.

"I'll call them tonight, I'm also going to call off work tomorrow, I'll spend the day taking care of Mickey, if she'll even let me" he laughed a little, Billy smiled as they pulled into the familiar driveway of Mallory and Billy's house.

"I'll see you tomorrow" Billy smiled as he got out of the car, picking up Mallory and carrying him into the house with a small wave.

Tibby smiled softly and drove Mickey home, trying not to wake her.

Once they arrived at the house belonging to the Devin's, Tibby picked her up lovingly and brought his wife inside, feeling her cuddle up in his arms.
